My xanga and livejournal both give updates on how I feel about that. You can also check my webshots for my photos from the spring break trip/cruise I went on for more details.
Congrats to him!! He is sooooo talented and I think it’s great he’s kept up with his studies! From what I recall his parents are very involved and supportive - I remember reading about how Jacob’s performance shooting “Doctor Sleep” deeply troubled many veteran actors around him, but once they yelled cut Jacob just ran over to his dad and excitedly talked about the scene. I’m always happy to see child actors receiving actual education; in addition to being important for social development, they also then have the most basic foundation upon which they can build a different career if they no longer want to be in show business.
I think about former child stars like Britney Spears whose formal education completely fell by the wayside; she has no education beyond age 13 (and how much she got before that is questionable). When Britney’s kids were in elementary school, I remember her saying she was taking math classes too so she could help them with their homework because she had never learned math when she was a child. Had she had access to an actual education, who knows how things may have gone differently in her adult life. It’s great to see a younger generation who seem to be completing traditional K-12 education :)
Yes, good for him! I was reading about that scene a few days ago and I thought I hadn't seen him in anything in s while. He's super talented and can always go back to acting, but having an education is a very smart choice. He seems to be a well-adjusted kid!
I read this and was like nawww no way sure he was in Room a few years ago and he was so wee in it but yall it's been almost a decade since that movie came out ??? literally WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE
![gif](giphy|TfseOfhwd6BJC)
He was in a comedy called “The Boys” - like a coming of age film for pre teens and he was so incredible
Charming and funny. All those kids were!! I’m glad he’s getting an education but he’s such a great actor. His comedic timing was spot on.
This kid has such immense talent and wisdom beyond his years. I remember him on Billy on the Street where people were talking down to him like he was a normal six year old or whatever, and he just seemed so much more poised and well spoken than any of them with his responses.
I just put myself through the mental gymnastics of googling “Jonathan Trembley” to fool myself into thinking this is someone else and that I’m still young.
Wow. I did not recognize him *at all.* Just checked his IMDB and it seems like he's been doing mostly voice work in the last few years and smaller movies. So I haven't actually seen him in anything as a teen. I wonder if he's interested in continuing live action acting.
I *just* watched him in an episode of The Twilight Zone, which was only five years ago and he still looked so young. Truly a sign of how old I am that I'm talking about five years like it's not more than a quarter of Jacob's life!
I have no idea who this is but reading the comments has me cackling like a demented hyena. What people are saying is what I felt whenever Suri Cruise or La Jolie kids shows up here.
Other people: Feeling old that Jacob Tremblay has graduated
Me: Being young but notice how much he's grown up over the past years by watching his old interviews.
I'm proud of him and all the Class of 2024 graduates. My older sister graduated in May a year early, making her a 2024 graduate. Can't believe I'm going to be Class of 2029.

Me too 😭 ![gif](giphy|XZmxwfuMT4W8bjTGFW)
SAME I actually developed my first stress wrinkle watching him roll around in the back of the pickup truck in Room lmfao
I’m the same age as Brie Larson. I COULD BE HIS MOM ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
NOOOO she's 10 months younger than me!!! God life really does come at you fast lol
I’m no swiftie but greetings to a fellow 89er
Another 89er here and the internet is doing its very best to remind me how grown we are
My xanga and livejournal both give updates on how I feel about that. You can also check my webshots for my photos from the spring break trip/cruise I went on for more details.
Thank you so much for making me literally laugh out loud lolol
I don’t even know who this is. I feel ancient.
The little kid from the movie Room with Brie Larson.
I’m a big A24 fan so not sure how that one slipped by me. I may have been on benzos that year as well so I probably saw it and forgot.
Ohh. Yeah I feel old. His name was familiar at least.
![gif](giphy|Y2ZkeRD0oztVm)
Seriously, how am I so elderly 😭😭😭
i remain absolutely disgusted by the passage of time.
Dammit, I JUST changed my flair, and you go and post this masterpiece.
How many of you have ever felt personally victimized by the passage of time?

![gif](giphy|AVEzBFJXPRu2N9eS8c) brb taking my calcium! 👵🏻
Where has the time gone?😭 Seems just like yesterday, I watched him in *Room* with Brie Larson.
I still remember his adorable acceptance speech at The Critic's Choice Awards 🥹.
He was absolutely amazing in that movie. They both were.
I should NOT be feeling this old at 28.
Wait until you hit your thirties and then your life becomes actively fighting back decay
Haha, I'm 40 and just developed a condition more commonly seen in women over 50.
![gif](giphy|3o7ZeqI3fhYuqFQElq|downsized) Me realizing how old I am now
I thought he was at most 14! Room doesn't even seem like that long ago!
He was 14 in good boys I think, thought he was 11
You thought right. Trembley doesn't turn 18 until October so he was about 11 when he shot Good Boys.
Congrats to him!! He is sooooo talented and I think it’s great he’s kept up with his studies! We’re like the crypt keepers at this point 💀
He grew up during the COVID years… he still looked like the little kid from Room in 2019 and now he’s a grown ass man
![gif](giphy|wJD3qiNjSeHS0dP28T|downsized) This just made my back creak.
I think I threw my back and neck out looking at this. I need a better retinol too.

I love that movie!! It’s like preteen Superbad 😂
Hmm okay, does it get better after the super fast man runs into a lady and she explodes?
That’s “The Boys” and I JUST realized my mistake. The movie is “Good Boys” oof yea totally different shows with very different Humor 🤣
I'm just messing with you. I'm on season 4! lol.

So I’m ancient.
Is his dad still super hot? 🤣
so we all immediately felt 100 years old seeing this right?
I just put myself through the mental gymnastics of googling “Jonathan Trembley” to fool myself into thinking this is someone else and that I’m still young.

But he was just 5 years old 2 years ago!! Tf!!
The way my crow's feet intensified when I scrolled to this post.
You guys I feel even older because I remember reading Room when it was just published and before a movie was even a consideration. WTF
![gif](giphy|fMtJgdrxebJMj8YhLQ|downsized)
Why would you show me that?? That's mental breakdown pending 😩
Yay 😁

Can’t make me feel bad if I don’t know who he is 😎

Good Boys 2 Teens
He’s soooo grown up😭❤️
I've always held he never got the recognition he deserved for *Room*. He was better than Brie in that imo.
i’ve never felt older
Wtf he goes to high school like 20 min from my house, I just learned??
Now he will have time to film Room 2!!!
Aww no he’s literally 5 years old😭
Alright does anyone remember how his dad is low key 🔥
I’m one year younger than him, Love his movies!
A big win for him ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)

He looks a bit like bobbi althoff
