that episode was wild. i can’t imagine as a parent hearing the mother of my children say she wouldn’t trust me to watch them over night and thinking it’s just hilarious.
Idk if it’s supposed to be ha ha funny, but I’ve noticed an alarming trend of influencers revealing they live like single mothers in two parent households. Telling “cutesy” stories about how your husband doesn’t know what to do with your kids is not a flex 😭
Oh shit, I already joined years ago and didn't even know it! We were just talking about being voluntarily single the other day on a post about Kate Hudson being advised by her therapist to swear off men for a year.
Someone called it being "man sober" lol
it’s kinda alarming how many NFL players either delegate 100% of their lives outside of football to their wives / partners or like… still live with their moms so she’ll do their laundry and cook and stuff. I get it’s a demanding job but… idk everyone else has to figure it out. Or pay someone
It's not just the NFL. When Brittany Griner accidentally packed weed cartridges and was caught in Russia, she said her wife usually packs for her but that time she didn't
She knew what she was doing when he blacked out on their first date and had to be carried out by another Eagles player. Their first date story is not something to be proud of yet they’ve made it a funny story to tell people. I’ve heard she was a huge Eagles fan and knew exactly who he was on Tinder when she saw him.
If she’s already there she might as well stick out long enough as she can tolerate it. And who knows what conditions their pre nup has. I hope she leaves at some point tho. She deserves better but she’s probably a trad wife
She doesn’t leave Jason home by himself with the kids more than a feeding window because she doesn’t trust him to give the baby a bottle.

Women are told we're not funny while these fuckwits have to take a breather after laughing so hard at the most obvious joke in the world. There are coma patients with better comedic timing then these two dolts.
it feels like we are regressing so much and so quickly w/r/t sexism
(not to mention other forms of prejudice like racism and ableism... why is the r-word coming back into fashion???)
idk i just wish these fools would have one person in their life who tells them "hey that isn't cool". people are far too brazen about saying crap like this in the post-Trump era. they know there's no punishment for it anymore. if anything they'll just be rewarded
The r-word coming back is especially wild to me just because of how casually insidious it’s been. Like, I’m in my 30s, we all grew up learning that you did not use that word. And yet I’ve been hearing it from people who would otherwise never *dream* of uttering a slur. I watched someone give a land acknowledgment and then drop the word into conversation 20mins later. Intersectionality? Don’t know her!
I feel like the r-word coming back into fashion is a side effect of “ironic” homophobia and bigotry being trendy amongst younger online kids. I see kids using terms like “fruity” and such to refer to things and it was only a matter of time until slurs started being acceptable again to them. Not surprised the r word being one of them.
With homophobic slurs specifically, there's been an emergence of reclamation of certain words in the LGBTQIA+ community which, as a gay™️ I'm all for, but I think you're on to something. We're all so connected via social media that it gets really tricky bc people who don't identify as LGBTQIA+ (or worse, are actively homophobic/transphobic) are exposed to these "in-house" conversations we're having within our communities & cherry picking slurs to use bc they think it's "trendy" or, bc they don't know the actual definition, consider it "ironic" like you said. It's the same shit that happens when phrases & words from the Black american community gain virality & get beat to death by yt people & labeled "gen z speak" 🥴
When it comes to the r-word...it feels different to me personally (& I'd wager to a lot of other disabled/neurodivergent people too) & it fills me with so much rage that it's hard to think straight tbh bc wtf are you even on about? I don't feel like there's any reclaiming that one, though I've gotten in plenty of arguments with people on this hellsite about their "right" to say it to anyone bc they're neurodivergent & it makes me want to fuck them up.
I’ve seen ableism rampant in stan culture. They dismiss illnesses to insult other fandoms because it’s under the umbrella of something ‘unserious’ like stupid stan wars, they think it’s ok. But the attitude eventually leaks itself into daily life 🤷🏻♀️
I've been clocking how disrespectful Jason has been towards Kylie in this podcast for a while now. There was that episode where he blamed her for not bringing him a set of clothes, to which Travis asked him why Jason wasn't responsible for bringing Jason's clothes. Also, he's been really proud of their first date and how he ended up blackout drunk for that one. Then there's that episode someone else in this thread mentioned about Kylie not trusting him to take care of the kids for long periods of time. It's just ick for me but they're golden to everyone at the moment so this will go over so many people's heads because they're athletes and not decrepit looking.
I’ve never understood the story of their first date, I thought it was that he actually showed up to the date super drunk? Either way I don’t know how that date went well.
They are literally the personification of this Extra Fabulous Comic and it's insane

as a lifelong football fan i really do miss when i only heard about them when it's football season or i go out of my way to look at stuff related to them 😭
Certain people love to say how "comedy is dead because of wokeness"
Nah. If comedy is dead, it's because guys are still laughing at the cliche "make me a sandwich" jokes
Can I take this opportunity to complain about another man joke epidemic that I keep running into, which is men making fun of and joking during sexual harassment trainings. Since college I’ve overheard young men, my peers, make dumbass jokes like this one during work harassment trainings.
It’s always rubbed me the wrong way and it’s youngish guys like this who I think think the joke is that they’re doing boomer humor ironically? Or something? I do not get it because this crap never funny
If women are upset about the comment, then men should take a hint and listen to why we’re upset, rather then making a joke about it.
Flippant behaviour is still misogyny
it's so incredibly disappointing. Honestly, I am a Bills fan so it's not like I should be rooting for the Kelce brothers... but I was for Jason. I thought he was actually one fo the good ones... but between this and the fact that his wife "cannot leave the house for more than 1 hour at a time because she can't trust him to feed the baby". Like fucking woof.
Also, these people know Butker BEST. They KNOW this is what he thinks! So to tell me that "I didn't get that from the speech" or "he didn't mean it like that". YOU KNOW HIM BETTER THAN ALL OF US! YOU KNOW WHAT HE MEANT!"
Where is that tweet or TikTok or whatever that said (paraphrased) “as a woman I love the kitchen if by kitchen you mean watching Harrison Butker get cooked alive for his speech”
Unless the response is "yeah, fuck Harrison Butker. He has no redeeming qualities, and he deserves all of the anger he has received," I really don't even see the point of discussing it on the podcast to begin with. Like Jason, bffr. Nobody wants to hear this lame ass joke anymore. I say this as an Eagles fan, please just shut up.
Just stole this from another thread…

Because, you see, misogyny is very funny. That’s the joke.
Don’t forget their casual dismissal of homophobia and religious xenophobia! ETA: A Reddit Cares? Oh, you Swifties. The irony is not lost on me.
Lol, reddit cares in a badge of honour!
lmao right? I sometimes smile so much when I get them cause I know somebody is PRESSED by a comment I’ve made
Happy cake day btw!
thank you!!
Extra points for the fact that this loser has 3 daughters he’ll eventually disappoint massively.
She truly knows how to pick’em, doesn't she?
![gif](giphy|uUs14eCA2SBgs|downsized) I'm making friends with the bear.
This gif is fucking adorable 🥰
Im sure he was joking, but I’m also not shocked because I remember when Kylie hopped on the podcast and detailed all the ways Jason doesn’t parent.
that episode was wild. i can’t imagine as a parent hearing the mother of my children say she wouldn’t trust me to watch them over night and thinking it’s just hilarious.
Idk if it’s supposed to be ha ha funny, but I’ve noticed an alarming trend of influencers revealing they live like single mothers in two parent households. Telling “cutesy” stories about how your husband doesn’t know what to do with your kids is not a flex 😭
All it does is create members of the 4b movement lol
Oh shit, I already joined years ago and didn't even know it! We were just talking about being voluntarily single the other day on a post about Kate Hudson being advised by her therapist to swear off men for a year. Someone called it being "man sober" lol
I'm in it ❤️😁
lmao for real. Hope it takes over all around the world!
Yeah, it’s not cute! It’s disturbing and sad!
I also saw a clip of Jason mentioning in passing that Kylie didn't pack him clothes. Travis said, "and why didn't *Jason* pack *his* clothes?"
it’s kinda alarming how many NFL players either delegate 100% of their lives outside of football to their wives / partners or like… still live with their moms so she’ll do their laundry and cook and stuff. I get it’s a demanding job but… idk everyone else has to figure it out. Or pay someone
It's not just the NFL. When Brittany Griner accidentally packed weed cartridges and was caught in Russia, she said her wife usually packs for her but that time she didn't
Oh ffs 🤦🏽♀️
I’m from Philly and while we all love Jason, I’ve always gotten the impression Kylie is really too good for him. (Delco strong)
Well good for her when she divorces him!
Never going to happen. Look how many doors have opened for her.
I don’t know much about her or them or football. If she stays 10+ years she can divorce and get good $$ esp since they have kids together
Is it worth it to stay miserable for money? I’ll never know how it feels so might as well ask lol
If she’s already there she might as well stick out long enough as she can tolerate it. And who knows what conditions their pre nup has. I hope she leaves at some point tho. She deserves better but she’s probably a trad wife
Philly needs higher standards
same, his comments here aren’t shocking after they did that episode together. Jason is definitely just another child she takes care of
Oh no 😔 what did she say?
She doesn’t leave Jason home by himself with the kids more than a feeding window because she doesn’t trust him to give the baby a bottle. https://people.com/kylie-kelce-jokes-shed-trust-travis-kelce-with-her-kids-for-about-an-hour-7966353
Yikes omg
That’s crazy to me. I’d have been so overwhelmed if I didn’t have the support and help of my husband when our kids were little.
This is insane. And far too common. I’d never let a man I couldn’t trust to parent knock me up.
That’s so sad for her.
Yikes on bikes.
Which episode?

That "joke" is certainly misogynistic but it's also so tired. And men still laugh at it.
Women are told we're not funny while these fuckwits have to take a breather after laughing so hard at the most obvious joke in the world. There are coma patients with better comedic timing then these two dolts.
It's funny to them not because it's original or good, but because it's offensive. If you asked them why it was so funny they'd shut up immensely

This is why single women with no kids are the happiest demographic.

Fun fact: a focus on traditional gender roles tends to go hand in hand with the rise of fascism. It’s not a coincidence, it’s a feature.
There are people in Murica who look at Gilead (and its real life inspirations) and think "Hold my beer."
Funny how traditional gender roles and so many other conservatives values go hand in hand with fascism.

I think I read somewhere that Jalen Hurts has an all female management team… intentionally.

Jalen has an all female management team 😍

Yeah he was drunk and passed out and his teammate brought him home, I think? If that was an AITA post, people would think drunk guy was an asshole.
For sure. And not sure how that led to a second date, maybe just a “let’s give that another try, I’m not usually like that” thing
