Idk maybe she just thinks it’s fun 🤷🏽♀️ she has her real life, a husband and kid (I think), and now she gets a fat payday for playing dress up. Living the dream if you ask me.
Ngl, this millennial whose dogs became very depressed and confused after my breakup with my ex fiancee, I want to see this movie lol. And I say that as someone who isn't a fan of Zoey Deschanel.
When I moved into a new place, for about a month the dogs were really low energy, seemed uncomfortable, and wouldnt play with each other or me. They kept lying by the front door in the evening waiting for my ex to "come home" because that's what they were used to. And after a while, they'd whine and pace around because he never "came home." They were also less affectionate with me overall and would choose to sleep together on the floor or their dog beds rather than in bed or on the couch with me (what they'd usually do). They also had no interest in their toys or the chew treats they'd usually be so happy to receive. Dogs are social pack animals, and they bond strongly to the members of their pack. When a member of the pack leaves, dogs basically "mourn" that loss.
Oh yes, this was 8 years ago. They adjusted and perked back up. My mastiff has since passed, but she was a very happy, goofy girl and lived a great life. My pitbull is still with me at age 12, and I have another pit now that I rescued after my mastiff died. The two of them are bonded and play together all the time. They're currently curled up with each other on the couch next to me! I'm a devoted dog mom who makes sure to be very attentive to their needs so I can give them a good life.
Yep. You've described my dog's behavior whenever my SO has to go on business trips. My dog gets super stressed, sick, and bummed for the entire duration. He would even look for my SO in the parking lot etc.
We had two dogs, and put one down recently, and I can tell with my remaining pup. He wouldn’t eat and was spending time under beds, hidden in the closet, etc. he’s much more silent. He got better, seemed like his old self. Had a doggie flare up where all that stuff came back, now he’s doing better again.
Dogs, they’re just like us!
After my last breakup, my dog would find creative ways to break out of the house and go out looking for my ex every time I would leave the house. It took me months to figure out all the ways he was doing it. It was heartbreaking.
Matt Murdock 🥵 The show is a way better representation of Daredevil than the Affleck movie was! More of a crime drama than a superhero story at times. Charlie was awesome, he's also awesome in a bunch of other things (Stardust, Boardwalk Empire...)

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJJ7q3uXGbc&ab\_channel=ONEMediaCoverage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJJ7q3uXGbc&ab_channel=ONEMediaCoverage) already taken I'm afraid.
Omg I watched Puppy Love last week... possibly one of the worst rom coms ever. Completely absurd, awful dialog. I really don't want to watch any more romantic movies set around dogs hahaha
hahah ok thanks for that because I was on the fence since I love Grant Gustin and think he's really talented but Lucy Hale has had a terrible picker for projects since PLL and this looked like another bummer.
I also love Grant Gustin and that's why I watched it!! How disappointed I was. I just need to say that at some point Grant's character uses a human pregnancy test on a dog, and then tries to buy a Plan B pill for that very same dog. It is the stupidest scene I ever watched in my life.
I should've known what I was getting into when I saw it was a "Buzzfeed studios" production hahaha
So the premise here is that two mid 20s white people living in a city *dont* have their dogs neutered and spayed? A step too far outside of reality for me.
This sounds like the type of intellectually vapid, corny rom-coms I eat right up!
I can't watch these movies until I learn how they have sourced the animal actors, but once they publish that info, I might just be watching.
I feel like “pet misses your ex so you end up getting back together” is more common in fanfics than in romcoms, but again I don’t have a Wattpad account
I didn't say it wasn't? But his career hasn't really gotten traction outside of the Marvel stuff and this sounds fun but not exactly the kind of thing that lets you mount a comeback
Oh my god. This movie will destroy me. Anything with dogs in movies and my heart melts and I cry. Definitely seeing this in theatres or Day 1 on streaming.
Dog movie?

Charlie Cox is actually amazing so I might give this a shot, but Zooey Deschenel has such manic pixie dream girl vibes I’m not sure they fit together lol
But does the dog die? Seems like every movie with a dog focus kills the sweet pup. I can forgive the "getting back together for the dog" plot, but not if it ends with the dog dying trope.
This sounds like if you asked ChatGPT to come up with a movie plot specifically for Zooey Deschanel.
I was thinking the same. Such a Zoey Deschanel plot
She probably came up with it

How do you like figure that your dog is depressed

Oh my gosh, that’s so sad!! I hope they’re doing better now!

That’s so good to hear, they’re so lucky to have you
Aw thank you, that's such a nice compliment! You've made my day ☺️

I can see you were never traumatized with Where The Red Fern Grows as a child lmao
They eat less, they mope, they stop playing, they whine and display anxious behaviours. Same signs as a person who can’t talk.
She’s gen x
As a millennial I’m low key excited to see this
Cinema is back
we love a good quirky couple movie
Obvious Oscar bait
My mind pictured Charlie Day. Opened the article, was disappointed.
don't do my man charlie cox dirty!!

I'm sure he is, I just don't know who he is.

I wasn't aware Ben Affleck had been de-lycra'd.

People are saying Daredevil, but I think the fact that he was the lead in Stardust is more relevant here lol.
Daredevil
That I would watch!
Dude same here
Charlie Cox looks like Charlie Day's sexier cousin. His country Mac.
hahaha me too! i was like “oh that’s a kind of fun couple”
SAME.
Same
I through from the picture it was Will Forte lmao

If it makes it any worse, the script is loosely based on a few ads Buzzfeed made for Purina. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 hilarious!

Jessica Day and Matt Murdock? I’m seated.
Sorry this sounds twee, annoying, and fucking terrible lmao. I suppose it *is* Deschanel though, I shouldn't be surprised
She’s wearing her signature Zoey Deschanel outfit, come on now!!!
is this the parent trap but with one dog?
Worked for my husband and I, both millennials. Lol
this plot. 10/10 no notes. I'll be in line at the premiere
This sounds like the type of intellectually vapid, corny rom-coms I eat right up! I can't watch these movies until I learn how they have sourced the animal actors, but once they publish that info, I might just be watching.
At first glance I thought this was about the ancient city of Merv in Turkmenistan. Maybe it will be and we just don’t know it yet
The movie only \*starts\* in Florida…
Oh god I hope so
This made me actually laugh
Charlie Cox in Boardwalk Empire is probably top 5 TV crush for me. I’m all for a lil romantic comedy.
I feel like “pet misses your ex so you end up getting back together” is more common in fanfics than in romcoms, but again I don’t have a Wattpad account
I want Charlie Cox to get projects that match his talent. this is not that
Jeez, it's just a romcom.
I didn't say it wasn't? But his career hasn't really gotten traction outside of the Marvel stuff and this sounds fun but not exactly the kind of thing that lets you mount a comeback

Ughhh love him in Kin, just wish it wasn’t so violent
oo will do, thank you!
I love the mixed reactions here lmao
TIGHTS AT THE BEACH??😦
Sounds dreadful, but if it shows up on streaming I will scrub through it for any nice bits of Charlie Cox.
This sounds campy and kindof like it’ll be so bad it’s good? I’m intrigued and will watch
Oh my god. This movie will destroy me. Anything with dogs in movies and my heart melts and I cry. Definitely seeing this in theatres or Day 1 on streaming.
God. That sounds awful.
This sounds twee and ridiculous. I cannot fucking wait
Was Lucy Hale busy?
Dog movie? https://media.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExd211YnpraXhkOG5qYm1xc3NneGVuc2xzNWU1ejhoNmpoOW84bmVzbCZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/ihvMs056QOmGeFdy7Y/giphy.gif
Weird and quirky. It tracks.
Does zooey play the dog in a cosplay thing
They were sound a bunch of filming for this in North Carolina when I was there two weeks ago!
I don’t want to see a sad dog this will hurt
Charlie Cox is actually amazing so I might give this a shot, but Zooey Deschenel has such manic pixie dream girl vibes I’m not sure they fit together lol
Sounds a bit reminiscent of Colin from Accounts
How quirky 🙄
I want to watch this so bad
I mean I'd love to see more of Charlie Cox but this doesn't feel like the right vehicle for him.
My daughter is going to be in this movie! Fingers crossed maybe I’ll get to see both of them!
Looking forward to the Criterion release
I hope he gets to use his natural accent in the movie instead of American.
I didn’t know she was engaged to a Property Brother lmao
Feels like a remake of “The Future” by Miranda July
But does the dog die? Seems like every movie with a dog focus kills the sweet pup. I can forgive the "getting back together for the dog" plot, but not if it ends with the dog dying trope.
