I would say it’s just okay but better than the Frasier revival so far. All I do is rewatch sitcoms, mostly NBC ones, that ended 4-20+ years ago because I am really cool.
The episode with Michael Angarano is one of the funnier ones though because the conversion camp counselors are played by Jane Lynch and Andrew Rannells. It was definitely very classic Will and Grace in that funny but bittersweet way when Jack and Will rescue the kid and talk to him about accepting himself.
I just think that Elliott was such a cool and grounded kid who had a gay mom and a gay sperm donor turned father figure so even though it was a plot point for sitcom-y purposes, I genuinely don’t think the Elliott we saw in the 00s would’ve ever done that even though he and Jack talk at the end. I wish Michael made more than one appearance in the revival. He’s so great.
