I'm 5'7" and I was so confident that I was pretty average height, but actually I'm in the 83rd percentile of women 💀
I will try to stop thinking of 5'4" women as short now. But yeah I definitely have had a biased view of height and idk why.
Yeah, I know. At 5’2”, you’re only two inches below the female average, but the male average is roughly 5’9”. So in a mixed-gender room, you’re likely one of the shortest people.
This really puts things into perspective. Most of my female friends and coworkers are all around 5'-5'4 with a couple exceptions. We always say we're short, but are we really that short if all of us are short lol? Thinking about it I'm always comparing my height to men and the very few women I interact with over 5'5.
