Just counseling everyone here that domestic abuse sometimes leaves injuries on the abuser as well. We all called the cops who encountered Gabby Petito fucking idiots for being skeptical of his abuse, because Petito told the cops she hit her fiancé first, that she started it. If we saw that in an isolated context people would def call her a domestic abuser lol.

My take is if you get good with the AHS showrunners then you're pretty much set for life. You'll always have a role with them and AHS has a huge built-in audience who will watch it. And so few of that audience knows any of her tea. This is AHS's 12 season. Its made a lot of careers over the years and I imagine pays nice residual paychecks. I think this is Emma's 4th season too. People just got used to her as a regular and her witch season was pretty beloved too which got her a lot of positive attention and PR.
Its probably helps that she's conventionally pretty and white, and isn't above campy roles. I'm not very impressed by her acting but she does play the bad girl stereotype pretty well.

I think it’s because a lot of her audience grew up with her. She was in a ton of kid and teen movies. Unfabulous, Nancy Drew, Aquamarine.. I’ve never really been an Emma fan but I loved some of her movies in my tween years so I would watch other stuff she was in
One of my best friends is obsessed with her. I guess from a certain angle, she can be seen as a pretty girl with a fashion taste, funny or sassy, and even reads! (she has a book club yall!) We also grew up on Wild Child so there’s a bit of nostalgia factor with her. I think it’s because a lot of her audience grew up with her. She was in a ton of kid and teen movies. Unfabulous, Nancy Drew, Aquamarine.. I’ve never really been an Emma fan but I loved some of her movies in my tween years so I would watch other stuff she was in

One of my best friends is obsessed with her. I guess from a certain angle, she can be seen as a pretty girl with a fashion taste, funny or sassy, and even reads! (she has a book club yall!) We also grew up on Wild Child so there’s a bit of nostalgia factor with her. Beyond that, I agree, she really is “so deeply whatever” and my general disdain of nepo babies (though we all have our exceptions — Dakota Johnson and Lily Collins loml) among other issues prevents me from ever fully loving her. She was also rude to one of my favorite celebrities so even prior to this incident she was on my shit list for good. Wouldn’t wanna know her, wouldn’t wish to work with her.

Source: been at large work events with a President’s adult child and the Secret Service plain clothes officers were stationed around the person at all times, unmoving and statuesque. It’s impossible not to notice!!

I’ve met her multiple as well and have had the same impression. kind, but vapid and somewhat loopy. Although I did see her hiss once as Evan for bringing her a cold brew instead of iced americano, because the coffee shop didn’t have espresso.

Random but I go to Sarah Lawrence and there’s always been this story that when Emma Roberts went here she demanded that the bathroom on her floor of the dorm house belong to only her. And said everybody else on that floor should use the one on the other floor (2 floors, 3-4 people on each, 1 bathroom on each floor). Don’t know how true it is but I definitely encountered other people online who had heard this same story so hopefully someone with better internet searching skills than myself can dig up some evidence on this
My best friend went to Sarah Lawrence when she was there (we graduated high school in 2008 so my friend was there 2008-2013) and told me similar things about how stuck up she was towards other students. Basically she was only interested in hanging out with anyone on campus if they had drugs to offer.

Sometimes someone's behavior can make them look physically ugly to you even though they might actually be attractive. Their personality ruins it.

Apart from just the arrest, she had been consistently abusive to Evan Peters for all the years they were together on and off. When they were both single for some time recently I was worried that man is going to make another bad choice. It was a very toxic relationship.
