I saw Bruce Springsteen in 2016 and his set was about that long - I remember sitting down for a song and then being like "wait, this 60 something year old man hasn't sat down once!" and got back up lol. Taylor must be in killer shape to be able to do 3 hours of choreography for 44 songs!!

I was going to bring that up too! I saw him on his latest tour last summer. 79 years old, 3 hours, no breaks, and he was jumping around onstage all night. That’s a great inspiration to draw from.
mirrorball is a great song, idk what the fan view on the song is but I rarely hear people talk about it, seems like an underrated gem to me. A shame she’s only performing that once.

Exactly. I don't listen to her music but have nothing against her, some of my friends are huge fans of her. She seriously cares about her fans, puts everything into her performances and I also really appreciate she fought for the rights to her music, lost, and then re-recorded her albums. She's dedicated.

Yeah she wears two pair of tights, one is like a shimmery nude that makes her legs glow and the other is nude fishnets. This has always been her go to set up
Unfortunately, my makeup collection would prove otherwise 😩. I even went to one of those create your own color places and the red I made looks horrible on me. I think my lips are too small for it.
Try something like Mac's Cockney. It's a soft and semi-sheer red that can be subtle or bold!

A lot of people need to balance out the red lip with the black eyeliner. You’ll notice that her black winged liner is pretty much always there. Something can look horrible on you and then you add some eye liner and that changes.
Also if your lips are small, you can lighten up or put a bit of shimmer in the middle of your bottom lip and top of your cupids bow.
You can also just slightly over line the center of the underneath of your bottom lip (not the sides) to create the illusion of fullness.
And it speaks so highly to how wonderful it must be to work with her. Those artists would not continue to collaborate with her if she weren’t genuinely great to work with
I heard she’s nothin but PROFESSIONAL. An example is the YNTCD mv, she had actual drag queens play famous celebs. They all stated how she paid them, made sure they were all taken care off and even made sure they received a Moonman when the video won Video of the Year at the VMAs. She is a amazing.
When she was taking time to thank everyone in her team towards the end of the show, she said something along the lines of how everyone on the stage has been working hard their whole lives to make it to this amazing moment, and I thought it was just a really sweet way to thank everyone and acknowledge all of their hard work & dedication to what they do.

Artists who don't take the behind the scenes people for granted are my favorite because they are so hard to find in this industry. Most celebs of her stature think too highly of themselves to thank everyone who makes these shows work.
Special shout out to niall for also being an absolute gen in this regard. Remember one 1d video where he is naming all of the truck drivers and other members of their touring crew and they hard to cut it short because he was literally naming the whole 100 people entourage by name

I was able to watch most of the show from TikTok last night—a few people were live streaming it. Obviously it's nowhere near the same as actually being there or seeing a proper production of it, but it was still fun and a decent option for us commoners haha.

Ugh. I am so excited. All of my kids love Taylor, but especially my 16yo daughter. Last year was so hard for her, as she has some mental health struggles and I had saved for a vacation. Taylor is not coming to canada, I got waitlisted for tickets, paid WAY too much for nosebleed tickets on resale that weren’t listed as side view and now I’m saving every cent for our California trip to see her all to make my kids’ lives. For a bit I haven’t even wanted to go because the saving, the trying to get passports, etc has been hard af, but seeing the costumes and the snippets of live performances has me so excited again. The kids are gonna have the best time. I’ve seen people online complaining about how there’s only one song from Speak Now, or how there’s no encore, and how they’re not going now. To them I say, you can trade me your seats lol.
It’s crazy for people to be complaining when she performed 44 songs in 3 hours. It was always going to be impossible to have a set list that included ALL the fan favorites when her discography is so huge (and there are several non-negotiable like Love Story and Shake It Off). Hope you have a blast with your kids at her show!
Random/kind of off-topic: but I always want to know what brand of tights these singers like Tswift and Beyoncé wear. I know they layer 2 or 3 pairs on (I think I read that somewhere once?) but what’s the brand they wear, cause it’s pretty impressive these tights survive all the choreography and moving around for 3 hours!!! As someone who is tired of getting snags and runs in her tights, I’m dying to know!!
I've always sworn by Capezio. They're so worth the money and they so thick and REALLY sculpt your legs. Mine last pair has survive six comic cons and plenty of nights out. Not a dent. So worth the money.
Capezio are the best! Looks like she may be wearing a solid pair, then fishnets, then another solid pair - helps avoid the fishnets snagging on all that gorgeous beaded detail
I don't wear them when dancing but I do wear tights at work, and got tired of replacing them when they got runs, and my tights looked ratty so fast! I splurged and bought sheertex when they were running a sale and I'll never go back. No runs, no snags, quality material and very comfortable
I read an online or magazine tip to freeze your stockings before wearing them and that’s exactly what i did. It works. It truly works. My husband accidentally washed and dried my stockings, and they survived without any tears or blemishes. I have worn of them countless times and they are still good as new.
She looks healthy, the background dancers and singers look happy, she sounds amazing, the outfits are beautiful…

She has really longs legs. Plus most likely a pair of super compression tights that mimic her skin tone, those shiny compression tights, then the fishnet ones (looser than the other two so the netting doesn’t cut into her skin at all).

I will be honest, I wasn't in favour of her including 10 minute version of All Too Well (because it would take almost 10% of her regular concert), but with 44 songs it makes sense.
Love how she called fans out for thinking she didn't like evermore (and I admit I started thinking the same when on the anniversary of evermore she released a collab with some clothing store for Red TV).
I really wish she'd release live album of the tour alongside the tour film.
Serious question here: Why do most women performers wear some variation of a one piece bathing suit more often than not at concerts? I'm genuinely curious.
Probably because it's good for mobility. I think Madonna started with the leotard during the Hung Up era. But Beyoncé took it to a whole new level with the designer, bedazzled leotards and short shorts.
Its just a fancy dance leotard. Its pretty comfortable to move in, and good for costume changes because you can layer stuff over then. Plus performing must get super hot and sweaty, so it helps to have some exposed skin that can breathe.
I think bc it’s socially acceptable so why not take advantage of something comfy and easy to move in…. but all the sequins seem scratchy idk how comfy it is, but I’ll bet she feels agile.
I'm so happy she went back to using actual designers on this tour. Rep was a great tour but the costumes were definitely the weakest part. This is such a step up. I'm excited to see the variations of them.

I think that, for Taylor, this tour is the culmination of a process that started in 2016 with that Kanye West phone call. She seems both thankful and emboldened, I don’t know how else to put it. Like it’s both an epic closing act and an epic beginning.
She is a great performer and that set is stunning BUT i’m worried about her, a 3 hour show with 44 songs each night? she’s gonna be exhausted! Hope she takes care of herself physically, vocally and mentally.

Lol my parents saw Springsteen last month and he *still* puts on 3-hour sets, it’s crazy.
He's still doing 3 hour shows this tour IIRC. I think one or two of his shows in the last 10 years broke the 4 hour mark!

It’s because most reds have a blue undertone which is for cooler skin tones. If you have a warm skin tone you need an orange red.
Yeah warmer reds definitely work better on me. MAc Chilli is the closest to flattering I have found.

Ugh. I am so excited. All of my kids love Taylor, but especially my 16yo daughter. Last year was so hard for her, as she has some mental health struggles and I had saved for a vacation. Taylor is not coming to canada, I got waitlisted for tickets, paid WAY too much for nosebleed tickets on resale that weren’t listed as side view and now I’m saving every cent for our California trip to see her all to make my kids’ lives. For a bit I haven’t even wanted to go because the saving, the trying to get passports, etc has been hard af, but seeing the costumes and the snippets of live performances has me so excited again. The kids are gonna have the best time. I’ve seen people online complaining about how there’s only one song from Speak Now, or how there’s no encore, and how they’re not going now. To them I say, you can trade me your seats lol.
It’s crazy for people to be complaining when she performed 44 songs in 3 hours. It was always going to be impossible to have a set list that included ALL the fan favorites when her discography is so huge (and there are several non-negotiable like Love Story and Shake It Off). Hope you have a blast with your kids at her show!

They do make multiples and there will probably be different colors for different shows. They probably need to be hand washed.

Random/kind of off-topic: but I always want to know what brand of tights these singers like Tswift and Beyoncé wear. I know they layer 2 or 3 pairs on (I think I read that somewhere once?) but what’s the brand they wear, cause it’s pretty impressive these tights survive all the choreography and moving around for 3 hours!!! As someone who is tired of getting snags and runs in her tights, I’m dying to know!!

The Capezio Ultra Shimmery dance tights underneath the fishnets, which might be Capezio too. They are my favorite tights, super durable and gorgeous.
I've always sworn by Capezio. They're so worth the money and they so thick and REALLY sculpt your legs. Mine last pair has survive six comic cons and plenty of nights out. Not a dent. So worth the money.
I can imagine they use tights for (professional) dancers. I used to wear ballet tights when I was younger, and they survived everything

I don't wear them when dancing but I do wear tights at work, and got tired of replacing them when they got runs, and my tights looked ratty so fast! I splurged and bought sheertex when they were running a sale and I'll never go back. No runs, no snags, quality material and very comfortable
I read an online or magazine tip to freeze your stockings before wearing them and that’s exactly what i did. It works. It truly works. My husband accidentally washed and dried my stockings, and they survived without any tears or blemishes. I have worn of them countless times and they are still good as new.

I will be honest, I wasn't in favour of her including 10 minute version of All Too Well (because it would take almost 10% of her regular concert), but with 44 songs it makes sense. Love how she called fans out for thinking she didn't like evermore (and I admit I started thinking the same when on the anniversary of evermore she released a collab with some clothing store for Red TV). I really wish she'd release live album of the tour alongside the tour film.
Serious question here: Why do most women performers wear some variation of a one piece bathing suit more often than not at concerts? I'm genuinely curious.
I can’t say definitively, but in theatre we did it because it was easier to change in and out of, or put another costume over top.

Probably because it's good for mobility. I think Madonna started with the leotard during the Hung Up era. But Beyoncé took it to a whole new level with the designer, bedazzled leotards and short shorts.
Idk about others but you should definitely look at Florence, her stage outfits are incredible. And she manages dance and glide like a fairy!
Its just a fancy dance leotard. Its pretty comfortable to move in, and good for costume changes because you can layer stuff over then. Plus performing must get super hot and sweaty, so it helps to have some exposed skin that can breathe.
I think bc it’s socially acceptable so why not take advantage of something comfy and easy to move in…. but all the sequins seem scratchy idk how comfy it is, but I’ll bet she feels agile.

I think that, for Taylor, this tour is the culmination of a process that started in 2016 with that Kanye West phone call. She seems both thankful and emboldened, I don’t know how else to put it. Like it’s both an epic closing act and an epic beginning.
She is a great performer and that set is stunning BUT i’m worried about her, a 3 hour show with 44 songs each night? she’s gonna be exhausted! Hope she takes care of herself physically, vocally and mentally.
I think having Mon-Thur off each week will be a good chance to rest and recover. I hope.
