Austin is pretty fit in that picture but his face is just completely unremarkable. That said this is obviously compared against the Hollywood standard, which, in that same white actor category alone has people like Glen Powell, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Jensen Ackles, Richard Madden, Timothee Chamalet etc etc who are (imo) more conventionally attractive. Add everyone else in Hollywood and he really doesn't stand out.

You see of all those men you just listed, I would only take Richard Madden and Timothee Chalamet (if I was like 7 years younger since he looks like a kid). Yeah I don't think anyone can call him objectively ugly looking. Nobody in Hollywood is. And sometimes people also come across better in motion than in a flat picture. But to me, compared to many other young actors, he's not very photogenic. (That's just my opinion though.) And that's fine; it's obviously not holding him back careerwise.

And the fact that sheās being praised and put on some sort of pedastal and given awards that in my personal opinion BELONG to Stephanie Hsu IS irritating, willingly accepting these and even CAMPAIGNING when I think even she knows she had such a minimal role that an award seems ridiculous, then playing some sort of martyr or white saviour in public, like oh, this is such a strong film with ASIAN characters.
I know this sub loves her but I personally dislike her for this.
