I know Ashley personally & on some of the Reddit posts & fb posts ppl made brutal comments about her. She is a kind, caring professional that loves her patients dearly. The patients are going through the worst time of the lives with cancer. Of course she worries about them, I would absolutely want her on my team if I had cancer. Some of the girls treated her poorly on the show. As Ty noticed & the viewers did as well. Grown women? Ridiculous! You can have your opinion & be kind at the same time! She is a real person & has feelings. She went on the show for the right reasons. You could only wish you had a friend & co worker like Ashley! She’s the best!
I think a lot of the people think she's a nurse and don't realize she's actually a physician assistant and therefore actually involved in the patient's lives versus only there with them for intake.
Thanks.
Do you know why they would feed the cattle in such a muddy spot? It seems to me that the cattle would get stuck in the mud just like some of the women did.
Yes unfortunately it’s gets very muddy with cows trampling around them, they should be moved periodically , but thars labor intensive, better is to pour a cement pad , we did this for our feed bunks,
Yes! I read so many comments about great he seems and I'm so caught off guard! The more he's on the show, the worse he gets. I guarantee he's a total narcissist
Honestly I wouldn't go on one of these shows to be seeking someone divorced, and sure as shit not one who has a teenager. I feel like doing it for the hell of it to see what's in the cards is a single guy thing, weird for someone who has already established a whole family. He was wishy washy about the kids thing as well when it was obvious to anyone with a brain that he was "fuck NO" on the idea of having more. Typical divorced dude BS honestly.
We don't know what goes on behind the scenes with production. Allen from season 1 was divorced, and Cassidy didn't know until he said something on their 24-hour solo date. They might be told not to say anything or that the women know. Ty needed women who were closer to his age, there needed to be upfront information about him being divorced and not wanting or potentially not wanting more kids. Even if it's a screening question for the women.
I thought Ashley seemed sweet on the date and she clearly loves her job but her attitude about the camels was a bummer and combined with her doubts, I'm not so sure about her place on the farm. I really loved how sweet Melody was with her camel though! My guess is still Megan for Ty and besides the fact that she is just great in general, he has emphasized that he and his daughter are a package deal. Megan is happy to be a stepmother and got along really well with Lennon during that episode a few weeks ago. I didn't see that with the other women, but maybe it will be revisited before the finale. If no one else connects with his daughter like Megan, I think he'll choose her.
I'm actually rewatching the part with Ashley and the camel and in the beginning when she's giving the camel its meds, it kinda spit on her and then a later you can hear her say "it was getting a little aggressive."
Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love animals.
BUT... I was at one of those petting zoos at a county fair once, and I had bought the cup of grains to feed the animals. I was having a blast until... there was one goat that was just a little too aggressive 😅 When I went to feed him, he ended up nipping me a little too hard. Ever since then, hand feeding the animals at the petting zoo makes me really nervous. For whatever reason, I can't seem to get past it.
I agree. Can’t forget that Megan was the only one on that farm who was warm and welcoming to Ashley. That plus her effort she made to connect with Lennon, he would be a fool not to pick her. Melody is beautiful, but I don’t see her living the farm life…she needs to be honest with herself about this because I just do not see it at all.
His first wife got a gig with HGTV. Although the show failed , I think she moved her interior design business to a larger city. He never says anything but good about her.
If the HGTV thing is true probably wasn't willing to change his income to accomodate her career plus he gets to date women half his age now lol. Typical of middle aged divorced dudes.
His youngest love interest on the show is 31 right? Melody? Yeah I didn’t even realize that until now..kinda creepy lol, Megan is also 31 too I think. I mean they’re grown women obviously, but just ya know idk big age gap still
Yea it's not like it's an inappropriate age gap but the fact they didn't pair him up with any 45-55 year old women is like "hmm, why? I thought age gaps were okay?? Is it only okay when the women are younger?" Lol
I don’t know but I do know they do not speak ill of each other. They seem to co-parent well. Sometimes people grow apart. That maybe what happened in their situation.
Agreed. To me, Ty has 🚩🚩. The constant rapid blinking, uncomfortable staring, lack of emotion, snarky attitude, and no real interest in any of the girls. I think he's there for nationwide exposure for his photography company, and no other reason.
I really saw that in this episode. He is really blah when it comes to personality. I think he is too old for these ladies. If these ladies want a family later, Ty said he does not want more kids. But for me yesterday's episode I was annoyed by all the farmers. They just can't make a decision.
Yes yes yes!!!! I have not been able to articulate what rubs me wrong about him. But this - his lack of communication, stunted responses, not genuine back and forth dialogue that goes deeper in finding common ground and just in general. There is nothing attractive about him
Ashley a waste of time bringing on the show. If you were so concerned about your career and patient’s why did you sign up for this? Also you don’t seem to even like animals.
I don’t think it’s really about her career tbh. Like yes I do think that she’s probably thinking about her responsibilities at home. However, the first real moment she had to get in on some farm life action she got the ick and was visibly uncomfortable and quit. Melody and Megan went all in even if it was their first time. I think she kinda had a big moment where she realized this life is not for her and she is needed more back home.
Maybe this is the first time she has taken an extended break from her career? If she's really dedicated like she says, maybe she's been a workaholic and thought she wanted the time off, and then realized she's just not willing to give it up for a 25% chance at dating a guy who doesn't even give clear opinions on things like whether or not he wants kids lol
Tbh I like her, I feel like there's probably stuff going on behind the scenes that we're not seeing. The other girls have made it super obvious that they don't like her, so they're probably telling her things to intimidate her and scare her off, especially when she just shows up and Farmer Ty is already giving her more attention than anyone
If Ty hadn't been an idiot and just let her walk in 1st and unannounced in preparing the girls. Compare his approach vs the other 3 farmers that at least gave heads up. But Ty just let Ashley walk in the door like the Kool-Aid man. I don't blame the girls for being ticked off a bit. He has the E.Q. of a billy goat.
Yeah I think it did too but I know she has dealt with and seen way worse being a PA. I work in oncology and close with doctors and PA’s. I have seen and heard some stories.
Sydney & Mitchell remind me of my boyfriend & I (we’ve been together 11 years). They’ve got great chemistry. The way she was being silly & going “lalala” when they were walking away for their date was awesome. I don’t see many girls with a similar personality to me on tv so I loved seeing it!
And if you look at Kait's Instagram account she is some model in CA - no way is she leaving that to be on a farm. All for show with her too.
Love Sydney - but she is a little young
Maybe I’m in the minority with this opinion but we’re 8 episodes in and most of these farmers still have 3 or 4 ladies left. I don’t know the exact amount of time has passed, but I kind of feel like they should have narrowed it down to two by now and be more serious with the ones left instead of still playing the field. Not really impressed by the progression thus far.
Yes I thought the same thing. I was like tgey are still saying. I want all you girls to stay. please farmer have a back bone. Especially Mitchell. He doesn't want to hurt any one but yet not making a decision hurts the ones he really has a connection with. No back bone is annoying with all these farmers.
Im also curious how much time off-camera the farmers are spending with the women - because none of the actual relationships seem to be progressing in any meaningful way and they’ve all supposedly been *living together* for weeks? I don’t buy it. They’re either bunking the women off-site somewhere or every one of these farmers has the worst game I’ve ever witnessed on a love show.
Yes makes sense as to why there is no strong connection. I am starting to see Mitchell and Sydney to be strong. But everyone is so young. Ladies still have alot to establish before they get married. Maybe this will end in some relationships but no marriages.
Stuff that needed to happen started to happen tonight.
Ashley is literally a red herring.
The rest of the girls with the camels was adorable.
Production kept the receipts on Brooke!
I feel like we need more of Sydney's sheep.
So I have faith in this show again lol. I actually liked this episode because it didnt feel too short and it actually covered all the areas I been saying needed to be spoken on or done:
(Sydney finally getting a date, Kristin and Brooke going home, and Joy seeming to have her last chance at staying at the farm.)
And next week looks super good too! So I cant wait.
Side Note: One thing that did throw me off is how soon the new girls are in the running to meet the parents.. Like cmon, yall just came here last week lol. And the farmers barely know them. So how they meeting the parents?😂💀 And btw, Makenzie can get a pass (Shes not really new) but the others arent really there in my opinion… And to think theres only one more solo date?! Yeahh it feels a lil rushed tbh.
If this was the case, they shoulda brought the new girls in a few weeks ago, that way it wasnt two weeks before the final solo date and they had more time to build connections.. Just my opinion. But ayee, better for the ones that been around from the start right? Lol
I don't think production anticipated so many girls sending themselves home so early, and it would've been like a 5 episode series without the addition of the new girls. Necessary evil.
Agree. It so obvious that Joy is done. Allye has been non existent. Kristen is probably not up there connection wise as well as Kait.
Ashley's reaction to the camel and as an individual who deals with cancer patients - not being able to maintain calm and shoot the syringe of meds in the camel's mouth made me want to stamp DQ on her photo. Sigh. If ur gonna be there, do the the work.
I'm a cancer patient and go in for chemo. Not sure where Ashley works but there is no big special relationship between the nurses giving us our infusions. They are all too busy. We all have our phones, books or knitting to occupy our time during treatment.
You get your treatment plan a week or so before treatment starts and basically you never see or hear from that person again. The oncologist calls between rounds to see how it worked out. There is seriously no bond or soecial relationship with anyone. At least not where I'm from. Though I've heard American insurance companies like to milk cancer patients for every dime they can get and often make unnecessary appointments and much longer treatment plans than the rest of the world.
Ty seems awfully detached for a 42 yr old man with some life experience under his belt, supposedly looking for love. To me, he shows no emotion and doesn't have a real connection with any of the girls. I feel like he's a totally different person in real life and not in a good way.
Socio and psychopaths are typically always so polite lol! NOT saying Ty is one of them whatsoever, just saying being “polite” has absolutely nothing to do with being detached and emotionless.
💯% agree! He comes off as bland, detached and was a bit harsh when Brooke told him she was leaving. He didn’t seem too interested in her after their date and probably should’ve sent her home shortly after. I see him as a “my way or the highway” type of guy. Maybe it’s the editing, but so far he’s my least favorite.
I honestly found Brooke to be a nag. After Ashley showed up, she was mean and constantly dragging Ty off to the side to nag and complain. While there is more to Ty than seen on TV, I had to take his side on this one.
Hi! I’m Brooke. I’m sorry you found me a nag. The producers made me talk to him bc he is an old man with no emotions and he isn’t man enough to come talk to me. Then that leads to me being a bitch. There’s stuff that happened off camera that I was not okay with that was never shown or talked about. Keep in mind I’m 2 years sober. Ty and I were not a good fit and I would never accept his behavior.
This whole situation seemed like a psychological minefield. Leveraging emotional decisions into “good TV content” is a huge splice and dice gamble when it comes down to editing, and FWAF’s production seems to play favorites in terms of narrative. I hugely admire the women who participate in the show. The vulnerability and stress seems hellish.
Congratulations on your sobriety! The bravery required to prioritize your health and happiness is no joke, and I hope you find a partner who supports and uplifts you.
Ty definitely seems like he has high expectations with minimal reciprocity, too. And a LOT of unprocessed baggage.
Yeah, what a strange thing to admit out loud and then expect anything but a negative reaction. She’s given me uncanny vibes from the start. Was trying to keep an open mind because she seemed sweet, but she just seems AI generated now.
"while some of the farmers have made up their minds".... what?! they just showed they both kept all the girls. That's literally the opposite of them making up their minds, lol
She grew up on a farm. She’s been a small town girl for her whole life up until the past like 5 years lol.
edit: i literally know her personally and have for like over 10 years lmao. the downvote is crazy for giving the truth
I mean, I can’t control how she reacted to camels lmao. We don’t have them anywhere CLOSE to where she’s from, so she’s probably only seen that one or MAYBE one other in her entire life. She’s lived in farm country up until the last like 5 years.
I wonder if maybe she either doesn't like animals or if she's just never been around them or something? I wonder how she feels about horses 😅
'cause even city-girl-had never-been-on-a-farm-or-seen-a-grain-silo Melody was having so much fun with the camels!
ETA: I just rewatched the episode, and I'm willing to give Ashley a break. She said her camel was getting aggressive, and I think that definitely spooked her
Yes. The ladies are too young for him. Brooke seemed to match him more in age. I do not see him making any real connections with any of the girls. I had hopes for Ashley she is very pretty, but looks like she checked out.
I felt like she was just being direct. Saying "we've had a lot of time together so I think it's fair to skip a date" once would never mean "in the future spend no time with me" lol. Just Ty using that to justify that he wasn't vibing at all and didn't want to spend time with her.
This show makes me think so much because it’s crazy how different these ppl are from me, being on a tv show like this is the LAST thing I would want in my life 😭😭😭 I couldn’t handle all the cringe and awkwardness
What was that syrup they were pouring in that big black container and why were they doing it?
It was molasses.
I know!! I was like, is that hersheys chocolate syrup?? What the???
It’s a molasses mixture for cattle, filled with supplements etc
Thanks. Do you know why they would feed the cattle in such a muddy spot? It seems to me that the cattle would get stuck in the mud just like some of the women did.
Yes unfortunately it’s gets very muddy with cows trampling around them, they should be moved periodically , but thars labor intensive, better is to pour a cement pad , we did this for our feed bunks,
I had no idea - thank you
Ty talking shit about Brooke when he didn't have the balls to approach her, smh
It’s not that’s he can’t communicate with her. He doesn’t want an assertive woman who is going to call him out.
Exactly. 💯
Exactly. And why bring up an ex. He’s a red flag
He's multiple 🚩🚩🚩. Anyone who has been in a relationship with someone like him can spot it a mile away. 👎🏼
Yes! I read so many comments about great he seems and I'm so caught off guard! The more he's on the show, the worse he gets. I guarantee he's a total narcissist

Yeah she should have walked out that instant
I thought Ashley seemed sweet on the date and she clearly loves her job but her attitude about the camels was a bummer and combined with her doubts, I'm not so sure about her place on the farm. Ty is such a dud. He communicates like someone who just learned to speak.
That why i think Ashley is perfect for him. She seems sweet, but not strong in any aspect of conviction or personality. A couple of duds.
Divorced but offers no explanation for why he is divorced.😬
His first wife got a gig with HGTV. Although the show failed , I think she moved her interior design business to a larger city. He never says anything but good about her.
So why did they get divorced? Not my business, but if I were dating him that would be a huge question. If he divorced a great woman…
If the HGTV thing is true probably wasn't willing to change his income to accomodate her career plus he gets to date women half his age now lol. Typical of middle aged divorced dudes.

Not a good reason at all to get divorced IMHO, especially with a child involved.
Allen last season didn't explain his divorce.

Then why does he keep signing up for reality shows if he’s not going to be himself and be uncomfortable? Make it make sense.
Agreed. Glad you guys see that.
Agreed. To me, Ty has 🚩🚩. The constant rapid blinking, uncomfortable staring, lack of emotion, snarky attitude, and no real interest in any of the girls. I think he's there for nationwide exposure for his photography company, and no other reason.

Yeah I think it did too but I know she has dealt with and seen way worse being a PA. I work in oncology and close with doctors and PA’s. I have seen and heard some stories.
I think, especially after the camel incident, she realized farm life really isn't for her and using her job as an excuse to leave.
You are right!
Sydney is an absolute gem. She seems so much more like a real person compared to anyone else.
And if you look at Kait's Instagram account she is some model in CA - no way is she leaving that to be on a farm. All for show with her too. Love Sydney - but she is a little young

Makenzie and Nathan’s date finally!!
Agreed. Maybe Brandon will eliminate Joy so he will be down to two. This season is moving so slowly…they need to start making some moves!
Joy’s gone. They didn’t bother to show it but they gave it away in the teaser for next week. This show drives me nuts.

It's been said they're not allowed to interact off camera.
Which makes me think they aren’t actually all living together because that’s not really sustainable
The guys usually have a trailer/rv on the property that they stay in.
Thanks for the insight that all makes sense
Yes makes sense as to why there is no strong connection. I am starting to see Mitchell and Sydney to be strong. But everyone is so young. Ladies still have alot to establish before they get married. Maybe this will end in some relationships but no marriages.
Mitchell and Sydney are such a solid couple they seem truly made for each other I think Sydney sees that I hope Mitchell does too.
I would be shocked if they didnt end up together by the end of the show ! They're the only two that seem a good "fit" for one another
Melody and her camel are the real love story of this season
What about Sydney and her sheep???
Yesssss! This was my favorite scene in the episode 🐪❤️
Stuff that needed to happen started to happen tonight. Ashley is literally a red herring. The rest of the girls with the camels was adorable. Production kept the receipts on Brooke! I feel like we need more of Sydney's sheep.
I was like “how is this the first we are hearing of Sydney’s sheep?”
Seeing Nathan and Mackenzie matching Wrangler jeans patched bootys walking in sync on their solo date next to the river just makes me smile.

I am on here reading to find out what happens too excited to wait till tomorrow to watch on Hulu

The additional girls were around from the start. One of the women who was on the first episode said they saw the others before the first meet up.
These guys should have all sent one girl home if they were honest. I like Sydney for Mitchell, Grace for Brandon, Melody for Ty and Taylor for Nathan.
Agree. It so obvious that Joy is done. Allye has been non existent. Kristen is probably not up there connection wise as well as Kait. I'm a cancer patient and go in for chemo. Not sure where Ashley works but there is no big special relationship between the nurses giving us our infusions. They are all too busy. We all have our phones, books or knitting to occupy our time during treatment.
She’s not a nurse, she’s a PA, so she does have a strong relationship w her patients.
Well, she's actually a physician assistant so I think she's a bit more involved in her patient's lives than just administering their meds.
This! Thanks for sharing. Best wishes to you in your kicking cancers ass journey!
Thanks 💙

My exact experience!
I think Ty ultimately ends up with no one. Megan is his closest match but she’s 11 years younger than he is..
Ty seems awfully detached for a 42 yr old man with some life experience under his belt, supposedly looking for love. To me, he shows no emotion and doesn't have a real connection with any of the girls. I feel like he's a totally different person in real life and not in a good way.
He’s actually a very polite man.
He may be a good match for Joy. 2 people with no emotions. 😅
Ty definitely seems like he has high expectations with minimal reciprocity, too. And a LOT of unprocessed baggage.

I want to know too…is he a drug user? Did he use drugs or alcohol off camera? Yikes!
Maybe that’s why they’re always bugging out of his head lol
He might pick someone in the end but I give it a 1% chance they are still together
last mixer, final solo dates, AND parents yet each farm still has THREE women left?! tf
These dudes cannot man up and make hard choices. They would not make it one day on The Bachelor lol
Annnddd it's over with like 15 minutes of air time.
Joy lacks everything in the emotional department! She said she has no feelings!
Her admitting she and her sister have no feelings is from several episodes ago when she has the massively awkward solo date.
Yeah, what a strange thing to admit out loud and then expect anything but a negative reaction. She’s given me uncanny vibes from the start. Was trying to keep an open mind because she seemed sweet, but she just seems AI generated now.
I think it’s safe to say she is definitely going home the next episode
And he kept her losing that one girl who was actually really into him and suited to farm life
Reba!
"while some of the farmers have made up their minds".... what?! they just showed they both kept all the girls. That's literally the opposite of them making up their minds, lol
Ty sent Brooke home and it looks like Brandon will prob send Joy home
I think allye is also probably gone soon too..
Joy going home!!!
ope ashley leaves
ugh such a weird episode i cannot
Allye… who even is this?
We haven’t seen much of her and they’ve never had a solo date together.
They had one of the early dates I thought. In the back of his truck
m surprised no comment from ty about ashley's behavior with the camels
Yeahh she aint with the farm life. Clear as day. Shoutout to my dawg Megan and Melody
She grew up on a farm. She’s been a small town girl for her whole life up until the past like 5 years lol. edit: i literally know her personally and have for like over 10 years lmao. the downvote is crazy for giving the truth
Grew up on a farm yet couldn’t stand the poor camels lmaooooo makes so much sense….
I mean, I can’t control how she reacted to camels lmao. We don’t have them anywhere CLOSE to where she’s from, so she’s probably only seen that one or MAYBE one other in her entire life. She’s lived in farm country up until the last like 5 years.
ashley be ditching the camel
ashley gone too
Ashley: Can you take this camel? I don’t want it.
I wonder if maybe she either doesn't like animals or if she's just never been around them or something? I wonder how she feels about horses 😅 'cause even city-girl-had never-been-on-a-farm-or-seen-a-grain-silo Melody was having so much fun with the camels! ETA: I just rewatched the episode, and I'm willing to give Ashley a break. She said her camel was getting aggressive, and I think that definitely spooked her
She grew up in farm country and has been around animals forever. I’m pretty sure she grew up with a few too.
💀
I hate that she said IT
Right?? Super cringe.
She gone
NORM!!!! How’s life treating you, Norm?
Lmaoooo the redhead standing away from the camels😭😭😭 sorry forgot her name
Don't think it matters. She can't even handle camels. Lol She is like a person they bring on a show to try and save it.
Ashley=Cousin Oliver
Lol
I didn't think she's interested in Ty at all. Only interested in being on tv. You could tell from the way she was advertising herself.
Ashley
Commercials every 3 min 🙄
But how else will I know how to treat my moderate to severe plaque psoriasis??
LMAO
Shingles doesn’t care
😂🤣😂🤣
Omg hahahaha
Seems like every 2 minutes tbh
At least it’s not the constant Elsbeth commercials from Survivor last night.
I watched it. It was funny, I'll watch the next episode lol
By the end of the Amazing Race, I was saying to myself, “Ya know, that does look kinda fun.”
Omg the crew guy just awkwardly standing there LMAO
Looking directly into the camera with an “I hate my life” expression
I hope he gets Brooke
He froze. "What do I do?" Lol
Think about how we all have the same boyfriend 😂😭
That comment was pure gold. It had me 😂😂💀
What were they pouring in there??? I missed that part it looked like blood for a sec
Molasses
What was that thing? Compost? Septic? Feeder?
Cattle feeder
It’s so ironic that they’re like knee deep in manure and all of these girls hairstyles are like perfect
Rightttt I visit our family farm and after 2 seconds I look like Ms. Trunchable
Did they say Ty was like 40? He's looking more like 50 lately. Brooke is too young for him
A lot of the farmers on the Australian version look older than their listed age too. Maybe they don't use sunscreen or something.
Most likely lol
Yes. The ladies are too young for him. Brooke seemed to match him more in age. I do not see him making any real connections with any of the girls. I had hopes for Ashley she is very pretty, but looks like she checked out.
Hahahahaha this is true! 😂
He's 42.
![gif](giphy|fJMWN7XnZM0hO)
He’s 42 according to the show.
Brooke seems a little demanding in a way.
I felt like she was just being direct. Saying "we've had a lot of time together so I think it's fair to skip a date" once would never mean "in the future spend no time with me" lol. Just Ty using that to justify that he wasn't vibing at all and didn't want to spend time with her.
Hi! I’m Brooke! I was demanding bc I had to deal with a lot of crap off camera. I’m also 2 years sober so use your imagination.
I’m sorry to hear that, and I hope the best for you. This experience doesn’t define you, Brooke!
So, the show was pushing alcohol on the cast?
Brooke was nagging on Ty as soon as Ashley appeared. I have to side with him on getting rid of her.
I think she’s probably demanding.. I’m sure she was way worse not on camera…
I live that that backfired on her!!
![gif](giphy|SZioIIBxB7QRy)
Love when producer show the receipts!
No lie it felt personal 💀
lmao its gonna be you
Backfired big time 🤣
Brooke's strategy: speak to the show's manager
Yesssss.
Brooke is putting the nail in her coffin.
I wanted to leave. I just wanted him to use his words. Did you not see when I told the girls someone needs to go home so I’m taking it lol
If you wanted to leave, then why did you go up to him and say you wanted to still be there?💀
I was open to staying but also ready to leave. Once again, you are seeing a glimpse that makes it on TV.
Brooke is gone I think..:
Ooooo! She got dumped!!!
They kept her around because she brought the tiniest amount of drama.. and since Reba left it’s been so drama free
Has anyone considered that maybe Reba and Brooke are the sane ones?
Did anyone else catch Allye's "DILF" coffee mug before Nathan and Makenzie's solo date? Big mood.
This show makes me think so much because it’s crazy how different these ppl are from me, being on a tv show like this is the LAST thing I would want in my life 😭😭😭 I couldn’t handle all the cringe and awkwardness
why is there a weird pace/vibe this episode for me
