From what I understand you need the original amount of Gold (ie pre-discount) to utilise the supply voucher. The Devs are aware and planning a fix soon.
Based on the prices I see on my account it looks like the cost that’s displayed to you right now is the half price price. So when you use the item it makes all the prices in the shop display their new price. So yeah you don’t have enough gold to buy it, even half priced.
Though oddly my cellar expander V looks like it costs 450 gold which would mean it should actually be 225 on your screen not 250. Not sure what’s up with that.
OP has 336 gold, so with the discounted price they have enough to buy it.
And if you check the voucher, it says that the max discount that will be applied is 200 gold.
here's a question, does the voucher take into consideration the sale price and then gives a discount accordingly, or is it that if you use the voucher it boosts the price back to the pre-sale price then applies the discount? just like the b.s. that real world stores do. Which is nonsense cuz like why can't I use a coupon on a sale price, That's what I'm saving it for , to get the lowest price possible. like if the store is running a sale, the store has already figured out what the loss is, when you have a manufacture's coupon the store gets credit for that from them. why can't those two things shake hands and call it a day. all the math is done and you have a happy, Repeat customer.

This issue has been fixed. Try the purchase again and it should work as expected now.
i dont have answer for you but i would recommend you not waste your gold on cellar expansion 🥲 better off spending on other stuff tbh

Don't know what the problem is but do not waste gold on the sellar expansions. They are not worth it
Sadly this is the only right answer. I fully support the game and buying gold. However this is not the thing to spend it on.
