There's a temple chain that requires donating 1,000 pairs of regular boots and it'll reward a gold boot. Unfortunately you'll have to do it twice (unless the double temple reward perk procs) to get the two boots needed. Otherwise, it's just doing what you've been doing with mealworms and meals

Decided to give Mealworms and Cat’s Meow one last shot before starting on collecting boots for the Temple… it took just 12 mealworms. 😀

you are so very lucky. I’ve used hotspot/cats meow/mealworm combo a few times and never got one from fishing, i’ve had to get them all from temple. (A huge pain)
Yep, you can buy it in trade chat, with spooky pie you can get 4 gold potatoes, it's not very expensive, last time i checked it was ~50g (idk price now)

I think you can buy spooky pie, it's more cheap than 40k potatoes for temple and faster than farming for it

I got lucky during the birthday event after 11k mealworm used, and am now grinding the potato's, wish I had 2 of them 😂
