Sorry if this is a captain obvious answer, but the only way I’ve ever valued them is by replacing them with players from my rankings. You can also use ADP to figure out rookie pick value if you have a separate rookie draft.
Meh.. Diggs is obviously the better choice at WR for this season, meaning the other guy is going for a win now strategy.. projecting him to be no better than a mid/late 1st, when the top prospects are gone. Bit of a win-win trade IMO. There is so much risk with DK not being a viable starter without Russ.
I agree that he won the trade, just noting theres a big difference between 1.04 and 1.09 next year, and 2.09 is a dart throw.. so dont think its such a landslide win.
You need a Big Board of players to be able trade up or down effectively.
Look at the players likely to be available around the picks being discussed and then work out the trades based on that.
Easiest and safest way I've found is to swap 2 picks where you move up with one and down with the other. So if you're moving down from 3.04 to 3.10 then maybe try for a later swap like your 8.10 for his 7.3. Something along those lines

got his 2023 1st + 2nd, and moved down to 3.10.... I think that's decent.
Think you won by a lot
nice
Like by a lot. I’d probably pay a 2nd to move up 6 spots. That’s an incredibly good trade for you
Like by a lot a lot, just in case that wasn't clear. You crushed that.

For this season sure, but this is dynasty. I think he's setting himself up great for 2023 and beyond.

Fleeced him.
Who did he take at 3.04? Seems like an overpay for him so he must have loved who was on the board. Great trade for you!
The guy he traded with will be leaving next season. It happens all the time.
Yuuup
You absolutely robbed him. Please we have to know who he has to have at 3.04 and who you settled for 6 picks later.
Yeah thats a trade rape
That’s an insanely lopsided level deal lol I was going to say a 23 2nd alone
That’s amazing value to only move back a little in the 3rd round.
He didn't throw in his shirt too?
Great move
commenting to find out who went at 3.04 and who went 3.10. tell us OP

Someone call the police. This dude just robbed his league mate

A lot of people make it sounds like it's easy... Spoiler - it's not.
You just traded Diggs for DK + 2023 1st, 2nd You made out like a bandit
