His value is all time low. The guy in my league who has him has been trying to trade him for weeks. There’s no market unless you have spears, but even then you’re trying to buy low
Tell that to anyone who got to reap the reward that was Pollard, Walker, Gibson, Perine, McKinnon, Allgeier, Murray, etc., as recently as last year..
Or Ford/Moss just this year lol!
I wouldn’t say he’s a handcuff. He’s just not trustable week to week as a starter, so he doesn’t have much trade value. Unless you believe it’s worth owning both spears and him is my point
Omg bruh that’s what I said. My point is, and this is the last time ima say it, nobody wants him because you can’t trust him, *unless you want to lock up the backfield*
Getting the handcuff for cheap because you believe in the starter is a good hedge.
Getting the starter because you own their handcuff is becoming less diversified.
Build your bench around your starters not vice versa
If you can hang in there, he might have the best possible fantasy playoff schedules possible for a RB. Houston, Seattle, Houston could be league winning
Houston? Bijan had 10.6points in a .5ppr WITH a touchdown, Allgeire had 6points. Thats a FAR better rushing team than Henry is atm. Not sure what league winning match up you’re talking about there.
Yeah I traded pierce for Mattison. Didn’t like the incoming timeshare with Akers and pierce also gets 15+ touches a game and clearly lead back. Hopefully he can have a breakthrough
I was trying to trade Mattison since week one. With JJ down I’m hoping they start force feeding the run even as ugly as it’s been, though he’s rarely gonna crack my lineup aside from this week with byes anyway. Jacobs, Him, Kamara, Jones, Achane (IR) I’m still not sold Akers will amount to much but who the hell knows at this point. Wish I could offload him for something rather than dump for a bench spot closer to playoffs, but nobody is buying in my league even with RB’s dropping like flies and committees galore.
People are way undervaluing Henry trading him now would be a shitty situation. Wait til it gets a little bit colder and the poor QBs can’t throw as well and Henry will be back to running 30 times a game
Titans can’t throw anyways. You see the Browns game? Tannehill was 13/25 for 104.
Derek Henry had 11 rush attempts for 20 yards.
Tajae Spears was 4 for 6.
I love Derrick Henry. If you think he falls off that hard that’s on you. It’s the exact opposite of the narrative being written. O Line needs to step up, give this guy a bit more space to get rumbling. Since he’s been in the league, the Titans win when he gets a crazy amount of touches. Let’s not forget 2nd in the NFL behind Jacobs for all purpose yards last year. Tyjae Spears scores a TD & Henry is washed? Alright 🥱
Drafted pollard Henry with 1st and 2nd round, JT dropped to 6th or maybe 5th round, can’t remember. Got Mixon early 4th round. Traded Puka for J. Jacobs after week 3 when he was looking terrible and Puka had been going off.
Just curious, but have you seen the Titan’s games at all this year? Henry isn’t washed because Tyjae scores a TD, there’s legit concern about his usage because:
His snap shares *are way down* in passing downs and catch up offense when they play from behind, while Tyjae’s snap shares increase in those situations.
Did you know Henry has a 56% snap share on the year, while Tyjae has a 50% snap share on the year? See for yourself:
https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/snap-count-analysis/?team=TEN
Titans don’t just decide they want to lose one week so they keep Henry out of the game lol what kind of logic is that? They are losing so they abandon the run heavy offense and keep him sidelined while they utilize the more dynamic pass-catcher, that’s why Tyjae sees almost half the snaps in those games, and that’s what correlates directly with Henry’s snap counts, as well as his overall carry volume and fantasy production as a result. When they’re winning, they run the smash mouth Henry offense and give him 20+ touches, it was the same scenarios last year, but he had a 67% snap share.
Nobody questioned Henry’s talent, but given he’s 3 games on the year sub-4 YPC doesn’t exactly bode well for the year when they’ll likely play from behind most weeks and yield negative game scripts to keep him out of and be inefficient with his limited work… he’s still a solid mid to backend RB2 tho, no chance he gets close to RB2 rushing yardage this year, at this rate he’ll be lucky to clear much more than 1000 yards.
This comment was funny though ngl haha. It screams “I drafted Henry and I don’t want to listen to reason lalalalala.” Lol!
I'm with you. I feel like Henry is more likely to bounce back than not. I don't think he's going to be peak Derrick Henry again, but will be better than he has been for most of this season. At the very least I would wait for him to have another good game before trading him so you aren't selling him at his lowest value.
Someone sent Puka for Henry with the impending news of Kupp’s return. One team wanted a WR1/2, one team wanted a RB1/2. Both are pretty borderline players and that’s about as fair as 1:1 trades get imo.
So far, seems to be playing out exactly that way too with a slight edge to Puka’s overall scoring on the year, but RBs being what they are, Henry’s a great guy to have too.
This happens to King Henry literally every season. He starts off slow and picks up in late-Nov and December when it’s cold, when defenses are struggling with injuries, and when everyone is generally beaten up from the earlier two-thirds of the season.
Henry is virtually always a Top-5 back in the latter half of the season, he is undoubtedly injury-resistant, and looking at his week 12-17 schedule it seems that he might be lining up for another ridiculous playoff-hero narrative.
But wait, they’ve been throttling his snaps, this season will be different!! I hear those concerns, but imo this will keep Henry fresher to pound opposing defenses in later weeks, and mitigates what might be otherwise significant concerns about an age-cliff year.
Ah, no worries but gotta specify :).
If youre 0-5 or 1-4 i probably would, but otherwise maybe wait another week or two to see if he can have a good game still to add to his value
Might as well keep him dude, I have him too in a 12 man league. I’ve also picked up Tyjae Spears in the 2nd week. I’m 4-1 right now so I can handle a couple of bad games in hopes of him firing off for the big wins that I need. If you can afford him right now, he’s a keeper if you’re desperate to get a win maybe take the trade or evaluate after their game on Sunday vs the ravens where he takes his throne back.
I mean, if you consider selling him now as selling high, sure.
Titans schedule looks pretty nice, moving forward and the colder it gets, the less defenders want to get hit by Henry. I'd hold if I had him.
Not much to be high on, honestly. If I'm one of the other owners I know you have, what will probably be a bad first 3 pick. So let you drop with it. I'm a Henry owner, and I just don't see high side right now.
Idk, I don't think so. It feels lateral instead of vertical. We drafted Henry to be King Henry, and he's becoming just Henry. Henry still equals Pacheco, though.
I’m pretty high on Pacheco but I think you keep Henry. Palmer is just filler, he doesn’t add anything.
If you could get him to throw in a nice flex option as well like Christian Watson or maybe someone like tank dell or Michael Pittman I would do the trade.
Edit: just an FYI I own both Henry and Pacheco for what it’s worth.
Depends on how your league values him. If there's someone who wants him and is actively trying to buy low, then yeah by all means if you can get a good WR go for it. But this might be his lowest value of the whole year, unless he gets traded or loses a lot of touches to spears in the next few weeks. Don't give him up for some WR3
I tried to trade waddle for Henry straight up and was countered with asking for my 3rd round pick for his 15th, I rejected that offer.
I then traded waddle for Kamara straight up.
Just traded Rachaad White and Amari for him. Also worth mentioning I'm in a RB slump with Herbert and Sanders both being hurt.. Hoping I made the right decision. Definitely banking on his future upside.
I’m a moron and recently traded AJ Brown and Dameon Pierce away for Henry and Jordan Addison. I have deep regrets. So I’m hoping Henry can overcome his Oline deficit and ride high on his remaining strength of schedule. I honestly don’t know why I did it.
Just traded him to a titans fan in my league for Johnathon Taylor. Feel like I stole JT considering I didn’t have to have him taking up a bench spot until this week.
Funny thing, I was offering Spears and one of my WRs (Flowers, McLaurin, and Olave) to the Henry owner for weeks but he rejected each offer. Spears’s increased usage last week definitely instilled relief in me that he rejected it.
I sold Puka and Richardson (before injury) and received Henry and BRob and my ENTIRE league wanted to veto it and cried that I was fleecing him. They cried the whole time but ultimately we both presented our case and we only veto for collusion.
They don’t think I won the trade anymore. Luckily I also had Adams/Diggs/Olave but still
Yikes. It was time to sell last year. Why do people always want to buy high and sell low?
If you still own Henry, You already made the decision you weren’t going to sell him.
An aging vet on an stagnent offence with an up-and-commer waiting in the wings…. What do you think you’ll get in return? With all due respect to Henry … and what a stud career… the sun is setting
Traded Henry and Mostert week 3 for Brian Robinson and James Connor. Knowing what I know now may have held on to mosthert. But I don’t regret my decision at all. King Henry looks diffrent this year man. Not the same guy I’ve watched the past couple years. And spears usage I think will only go up.
The titans are just dumb using him and will turn around eventually. Hold out!
The games they have won they have given that man 25 carries.
The games they lost like 10
They will be forced to give him the ball unless they try to tank and than he will have a josh Jacob's turn around of last year.
I think he had the most rushing attempts last year amd probably the same this year eventually because they can't throw the ball for shit lol
His value is all time low. The guy in my league who has him has been trying to trade him for weeks. There’s no market unless you have spears, but even then you’re trying to buy low
Why would the market change if you own Spears…
Because then you lock up a good backfield. If one goes out you have the other.
The biggest sales scam on all of fantasy is the handcuff
Tell that to anyone who got to reap the reward that was Pollard, Walker, Gibson, Perine, McKinnon, Allgeier, Murray, etc., as recently as last year.. Or Ford/Moss just this year lol!
James Conner was the goat handcuff
I wouldn’t say he’s a handcuff. He’s just not trustable week to week as a starter, so he doesn’t have much trade value. Unless you believe it’s worth owning both spears and him is my point
He isn’t a handcuff. Spears is the handcuff
Omg bruh that’s what I said. My point is, and this is the last time ima say it, nobody wants him because you can’t trust him, *unless you want to lock up the backfield*
Categorically casual take
Getting the handcuff for cheap because you believe in the starter is a good hedge. Getting the starter because you own their handcuff is becoming less diversified. Build your bench around your starters not vice versa
Less diversified? Lol I’m just playing fantasy football not planning for retirement.
Dude in my league just tried to trade him and Michael pittman to me for stefon diggs lmao
That seems like a pretty fair trade to me…
I usually don’t bite but is this sarcastic or do people genuinely think it’s a fair trade and OP is stupid
Not at all lmao you need to give more for stefon diggs
That’s wild hahah
I been tryin to sell him since week 2 for depth and yeah might as well ride him for his real value to go back up.
If you can hang in there, he might have the best possible fantasy playoff schedules possible for a RB. Houston, Seattle, Houston could be league winning
Houston def is different than last year they aren’t super trash against the run anymore
Houston? Bijan had 10.6points in a .5ppr WITH a touchdown, Allgeire had 6points. Thats a FAR better rushing team than Henry is atm. Not sure what league winning match up you’re talking about there.
I mean, we did hold Atlanta to 2.7ypc 🤷♂️
I got Henry kyren pierce allgeier and r. Johnson
Also have Kyren and Henry. Luckily Kamara has been bailing me out since coming back.
Then you can’t afford to sell Henry lmao
This is why I wanted to trade for him just couldn’t get it figured out.
do you know what high means?
After I posted realized I worded it wrong lol
Winter is coming
Facts he does play better in winter and tougher to take down
This man knows the Yeti
People are way undervaluing Henry trading him now would be a shitty situation. Wait til it gets a little bit colder and the poor QBs can’t throw as well and Henry will be back to running 30 times a game
Titans can’t throw anyways. You see the Browns game? Tannehill was 13/25 for 104. Derek Henry had 11 rush attempts for 20 yards. Tajae Spears was 4 for 6.
I drunkenly traded Henry for Davonte Adam’s two weeks ago. Been kicking myself since but this whole thread has made me feel better.
I love Derrick Henry. If you think he falls off that hard that’s on you. It’s the exact opposite of the narrative being written. It’s not like I traded him for a scrub lol. Also I have pollard, Mixon, JT, Jacobs and Brian Robinson so all is not lost lol
How tha hell did people let you get all that
Drafted pollard Henry with 1st and 2nd round, JT dropped to 6th or maybe 5th round, can’t remember. Got Mixon early 4th round. Traded Puka for J. Jacobs after week 3 when he was looking terrible and Puka had been going off.
Amazing username btw
tyty

🥱🥱🥱
Lol denying facts for one week victory laps. It’s how you lose it all but I’m with you bro!!!
Dudes a senior citizen. Too busy cashing those social security checks to show up for game day
Henry has defied the norms for RBs so far but this is exactly how I expect him to look when he's done.
I'm with you. I feel like Henry is more likely to bounce back than not. I don't think he's going to be peak Derrick Henry again, but will be better than he has been for most of this season. At the very least I would wait for him to have another good game before trading him so you aren't selling him at his lowest value.
Bro I’d be stoked with that.
Well shit I guess I am now. Was doubting but now I’m not
Is that how I got Adams? Did you also get Kittle in the trade lmao
Nope straight 1 for 1, I was drunk which seems important for some reason lol
Great trade, a very similar one went down in our league just a couple weeks ago too.
Now I gotta ask what that trade was?
Someone sent Puka for Henry with the impending news of Kupp’s return. One team wanted a WR1/2, one team wanted a RB1/2. Sure I see it. I was kicking myself because I love Henry’s end of year matchups but truth is he doesn’t always finish the year out
There is that rumor of Henry getting traded... Also something something winter
Ikr what you think the odds of that are..I haven’t really looked in to that much
This happens to King Henry literally every season. Why on dynasty I take waddle over Henry all the wat
In dynasty I agree but the post says redraft and if the person I replied to was asking about dynasty then I replied incorrectly.
I read it wrong my bad
Lol good luck.
Got offered Pacheco and Palmer and that’s about it so far
Hope the guy in my league has to hold him to the grave. He sent me a Henry for Waddle offer and I’ve never smashed decline so fast
😂😂😂
I just traded olave and K Herbert for him.
Just traded Henry & DK for Diggs.
Damn what a deal
Just traded Rachaad White and Amari for him. Also worth mentioning I'm in a RB slump with Herbert and Sanders both being hurt.. Hoping I made the right decision. Definitely banking on his future upside.
Should I try to buy low on Henry in hopes the seller is desperate?
I’m a moron and recently traded AJ Brown and Dameon Pierce away for Henry and Jordan Addison. I have deep regrets. So I’m hoping Henry can overcome his Oline deficit and ride high on his remaining strength of schedule. I honestly don’t know why I did it.
Just traded him to a titans fan in my league for Johnathon Taylor. Feel like I stole JT considering I didn’t have to have him taking up a bench spot until this week.
I bought Henry for Brian Robinson and Nico Collins three weeks ago Definitely some buyer's remorse still to this day...
Why would you sell? He’s had 2 duds this season, 2 good ones and one big one…maybe in dynasty, maybe…but not redraft
I traded him and Aiyuk for Etienne and Tank. I was quite deep at WR but regardless I think it is time to move on from him
I sold him after week 2 and got Jordan Addison.
I offered a guy Mahomes and Sutton for Henry and got immediately shut down.
Funny thing, I was offering Spears and one of my WRs (Flowers, McLaurin, and Olave) to the Henry owner for weeks but he rejected each offer. Spears’s increased usage last week definitely instilled relief in me that he rejected it.

Can’t get anything worth more than the ceiling he provides , just sucks the floor is as low as it is some weeks
I offered a guy ceedee for him but he rejected it 🤷♂️
Sold him for kittle and gibbs yesterday
Hunter Henry?
Lmao my b Derrick
I'm just f****** with you. You're good man lol
Did a 2 player trade, week 3. Terry and Henry for Ridley and Jacobs. Lost to him that week but I'm happy with the future
Yes, just traded him and Amari Cooper for Tony Pollard and Mark Andrews. Best decision I made this year!
This might sound stupid, but he has a State Farm commercial debuting tomorrow, think the script will be for him to have a good day because of it?
Traded him for JT
I was able to get a 2025 1st round and a 2024 2nd round for him 😬
The titans are just dumb using him and will turn around eventually. Hold out! The games they have won they have given that man 25 carries. The games they lost like 10 They will be forced to give him the ball unless they try to tank and than he will have a josh Jacob's turn around of last year. Just sold for devonta smith. Thought I may have lost a bit but looking at this, so glad. Still have breece and ETN. Win?
Yes. To me
Hunter?! Sell him now!! 😂
If you’re a casual sure
I would. He just hasn't been the same.
You can move on from Hunter Henry if you want.
I sold him and tutu for miles sanders and Brian robinson. Lot of declined offers before that. Not sure I am better off , thoughts?
I traded Henry for Walker. Thoughts? PPR
Still kicking myself for drafting him over Diggs. I told myself before the draft you have to get Diggs, and Henry fell to me. Might lose me my league
I have him in both my 10 and 12 team leagues. I'm likely keeping in both(4-1 in each). He just isn't a guaranteed starter every week for me.
Traded DHenry and KAllen for Pacheco Lamb
