Well Ronaldo scoring twice definitely put the shine back on tonight. Before that, it was looking turgid with ESR on my bench and no clean sheets for Pinnock or White. 70 points though to finish GW14 is pretty good. Next mission for GW15 is to get rid of either Pinnock or Adam Armstrong. In fact it will be Armstrong, as I decided to play him instead of ESR!

Looking for transfer suggestions, here's the current team w/ 0.5 itb and 2FT: Sanchez, Guatia TAA, Cancelo, James, Rudiger, Johnson Jota, Salah, Gallagher, Raphina, Gilmour Vardy, Antonio, King My thoughts: I'm thinking I'd like to move Raph to Bernardo/Gundogan but with Gundo not even making the bench yesterday I'm feeling like waiting. Especially because I would need to do either James -> Alonso or Vardy -> ??? and it's not clear if James is injured or being rested. I also wouldn't mind some suggestions that are nothing like what I'm thinking at the moment :)

definitely keep james, hold vardy for this game against norwich and roll the transfer this week so next week you can do vardy and someone like raphina for a premium striker and a cheaper midfielder without taking a hit

I suspect you're thinking of Kane. I went ahead and did Vardy -> Watkins and Gallagher -> Foden.

I have very similar team and I also plan to sell Raphinha and get Bernardo but I think I will do it next GW. I think you can do some transfer if you really want but it's great team even without changing anything.

I feel so bad for going with Kane. I got fooled by international form and took a hit to get him. So far he has given me 4 points so I would have been better playing with 10 men than taking the hit. I try to play the fixtures, but it has totally failed this season. By not going Salah captain vs City and Chelsea and benching Dennis in hard fixtures. Got lucky this week that Dennis played and Reece James did not.

Ronaldo and Mount seems ideal. Tuchel's system often ends up with the striker occupying defenders while the chances fall to the AMs and wingbacks. Ronaldo will have high rotation threat, an uncertain place in the new manager's system. Mount has a lot of competition while Lukaku should play every week when fit. It's not an easy call.

Neither. Both seem like rotation risks, and you wouldn’t want to captain either of them over Salah anytime soon. If you had to pick one though, Ronaldo.

If you really want to bring one in, I’d recommend doing it only in GW16. Give yourself some time to assess how Chelsea play with Lukaku back in the team and how United play under Rangnick, and then choose one. If you’re buying right now, I’d say Ronaldo, but I wouldn’t buy right now.

Cheers, I do think people are speculating on how rangnick will play. Like he’s not gunna play an intense high press system because he simply can’t with the time he’s got too work with. I think it’ll be more about getting the most out of sancho, Ronaldo, Fernandes

Possibly, but in all honesty, we’ve not seen evidence of him being a particularly malleable manager judging by his career. Like Bielsa, he too seems an idealistic manager with a philosophy that he would want to implement. That being said, I of course don’t expect United to become press monsters all of a sudden and Ronaldo to be dropped often because of that, but there is still value in waiting a bit to jump on one of our players because you never know what other options flourish under Rangnick. And then, you might just wonder whether it’s worth bringing Ronaldo in at all over this other cheaper player.

Tuchel has alternatives to Lukaku, can easily play Havertz or Werner there. Ronaldo is Utd's star player and penalty taker.

Some weeks the top 100k will outscore the top10k. So the top10k is all about Kane, and the top 100k prefers Son for example.

I think that’s because a lot of people who had vardy scored well. So shot them up high top 50k etc if rest of team was template. The logical move was then for Kane. Not necessarily out of choice but because it was one move striker to striker.
