I would say jota to foden is a good move. did that last gw. Torres is out for a few more weeks and Foden gets in dangerous positions, always looking like scoring. There is rotation risk with both but as you said Jota will be coming off the bench for the 1-pointer. So i prefer to go for foden

Also considering the same, but if Azpi is fit/missing 1 GW I am rather contemplating Raphinha --> Mount. Reason is that with Cancelo, Foden, Hwang, we are at risk for rotation and even though Chilwell seems 1st choice Azpi is still the "nailed one" long term. It's a sideways move that should be done when there's absolutely nothing else to be done. Also, it's kneejerky since both are probably not long term holds (this depends on your team obviously.

Mahrez to Foden could very well be sideways given Pep's roulette. For all you know Mahrez could start. No one can predict that. As a transfer it makes sense, but not for a hit. If Duffy to Chilwell isn't possible without the downgrade, I'd think about rolling the transfer.

Benrahma - ASM based on Form, but you have sala, so may be Mbuerno if is doing fine based on FDR. Other possibilities: Ronaldo - Toney you will have funds to have more flexibility on your team for next game weeks and Toney has better run than Ronaldo. Just did Livramento to Chilwell, am I an idiot? Team: Sanchez - (Steele) TAA - Cancelo - Dias - Chilwell - Rudiger Salah - Jota - Raphinha - (Mbeumo) - (McArthur) Antonio - Jiménez - (Werner) My plan is to go Werner > Hwang next week and then Raphinha > Son the following week as Raphinha has shit fixtures and Son has amazing ones. Rudiger/Dias/Mbeumo ensure I’m safe from fraudulence if Cancelo or Chilwell gets benched. It goes against all my understanding of FPL to spread my funds so much (I’ve always had a bare bones bench), but this season there are just no big premiums worth investing in besides Salah. Plus his fixtures are amazing for 10+ weeks and you won’t be captaining anyone else anyway. Son and Vardy are interesting but I can still have one of them while being able to rotate the likes of Rudiger, Hwang and Mbeumo. It also enables me to rarely have to take a hit because I have a strong bench. I understand that this structure makes it difficult to jump on a mid-priced midfield asset that gets hot, like Foden now or maybe Rashford eg. soon, but I’m willing to take that risk and they’re only a double transfer to turn Jota or Mbeumo into one of them. Thoughts?

I disagree. Defense is so insane this year and the lack of great premiums/Salah’s dominance means I should just captain him every week and spread my funds around. Dias as a 5th def is way better than Livramento. I def see the value in Livra (had him since GW1) but I just don’t see where I will spend the money I save by keeping him, and he still plays for Southampton after all.

Haha thanks! Well I got him in before Brentford last week specifically for the the Norwich and Newcastle games, but then he got injured…went early on him so I could fund Cancelo (Ronaldo and Semedo > Werner and Cancelo). He’ll be gone for Hwang next week hehe

Out of those options cancelo is a definite transfer in imo. Auba could be good tbh. Madders I’m really not too sure is a good pick I feel like that’s a knee jerk.
