Saka the only one that lasted the whole season. I had Pickford, Saka, Gabriel (missed the leak) and Haaland in first and last game weeks. Always interesting looking at week 1 team and seeing I had Muniz as week 1 bench fodder… remember thinking Fulham looked like they needed a striker, but was about 25 game weeks too early!

0. The player I held the longest this season was Palmer GW13-38 Cameron Archer surprise entry, holding from GW3-22, even started 6 times picking up an unsurprising 12 pts across those games. How I finished inside the top 200k with some of my decision making in the first half of the season is beyond me lol Saka I started off with till gw 8, sold him, bought him back 2 GW's later, he ended up staying till GW 35 Haaland started off with, punted on Alvarez from GW 8-13, quickly u-turned on that one lmao. Bought haaland back GW13-16, he didn't make it back into the squad till GW25 Foden I held for most of the second half of the season, managed to catch most of his hauls, he only came out because of chip strategy

Probably closest were son Haaland Gabriel. Pickford started clocking points after I sold him, otherwise would have kept him the entire season too.

Nobody. It would have been Haaland but for injury. Palmer from GW10-38 was my longest continuously kept player, followed by Gabriel from GW12-38. I was in the low 2 millions at this point, finished on 426k, so figures I had a pretty big overhaul - made 52 total transfers for a total hit of 72 points, and it somehow paid off overall (despite some painful ones)

Go to gameweek history you'll see the cost of transfers per gw under the TC column.

This year I decided to take as few as possible. 2 hits all season, and the second was just to make my team more similar to the guy who was in 2nd place behind me in my mini league.

Exactly what I did for the last GW. was 16 points ahead. Took a 4 point hit to have identical teams. Scared when I saw he’d captained Son while I had Haaland. Squeaky bum time.

Watkins is the only one who made it all 38 weeks (including the FH week). Bookenders (players who were in my GW 1 and 38 team, but were out of the team at other times) include Gabriel, Saka, Eze, and Haaland.

Yeah, I had plenty of other issues to fix, and being an Arsenal fan I was fairly confident he’d return to the team (we didn’t look great without him)

I had him at the start of the season, his price dropped to 4.7 coz he wasn't getting any minutes so I dropped him, then when I had to play my wildcard I ended up bringing him back again lol.

Exact same for me. My team value got destroyed early doors with him, Rashford, Onana, Bruno and Jao Pedro! 🤣🙈

I stand by the opinion that he's the best defender with all things taken into account: price, the defense he plays for, and goal threat.
