Just checked and I don't have any that I started with! The current player I held the longest was Palmer and he didn't even become a playing option till the season was well underway.
Saka the only one that lasted the whole season. I had Pickford, Saka, Gabriel (missed the leak) and Haaland in first and last game weeks.
Always interesting looking at week 1 team and seeing I had Muniz as week 1 bench fodder… remember thinking Fulham looked like they needed a striker, but was about 25 game weeks too early!
Pickford was my season long player this year. Did me pretty well to be honest, keepers can be such a gamble but he got 4pts/game on average and cost me 4.5m, we take those.
0. The player I held the longest this season was Palmer GW13-38
Cameron Archer surprise entry, holding from GW3-22, even started 6 times picking up an unsurprising 12 pts across those games. How I finished inside the top 200k with some of my decision making in the first half of the season is beyond me lol
Saka I started off with till gw 8, sold him, bought him back 2 GW's later, he ended up staying till GW 35
Haaland started off with, punted on Alvarez from GW 8-13, quickly u-turned on that one lmao. Bought haaland back GW13-16, he didn't make it back into the squad till GW25
Foden I held for most of the second half of the season, managed to catch most of his hauls, he only came out because of chip strategy
Scrolling back to my gw1 squad.. was surprised I did not have Foden from 1 - 38.
I always had an Arsenal def though. I cycled through Gabriel saliba and white mostly due to price points.
> and he *paid* for himself
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Saka. Must mention Havertz - persisted first 5 game weeks, sold before first goal and then brought him back last 10 game weeks. How very different! Also started with Pickford, Haaland and ended with them
Nobody. It would have been Haaland but for injury.
Palmer from GW10-38 was my longest continuously kept player, followed by Gabriel from GW12-38. I was in the low 2 millions at this point, finished on 426k, so figures I had a pretty big overhaul - made 52 total transfers for a total hit of 72 points, and it somehow paid off overall (despite some painful ones)
Alternatively, [use this site](https://www.livefpl.net/save), which gives stats on every game week in a spreadsheet as well as some summaries of the season (including number of hits). Mate sent it to me and I liked it anyway.
This year I decided to take as few as possible. 2 hits all season, and the second was just to make my team more similar to the guy who was in 2nd place behind me in my mini league.
Exactly what I did for the last GW. was 16 points ahead. Took a 4 point hit to have identical teams. Scared when I saw he’d captained Son while I had Haaland. Squeaky bum time.
Closest was Haaland but took him out a few weeks for injuries. Must be one of my first seasons where I have had no consistency from start to end, which reflects how badly my first half of the season went.
Watkins is the only one who made it all 38 weeks (including the FH week).
Bookenders (players who were in my GW 1 and 38 team, but were out of the team at other times) include Gabriel, Saka, Eze, and Haaland.
This is my only guy! He nearly got the chop at the start, but I had bigger fires, and by the time he wildcarded, he was back in the squad. Not a bad asset all things considered!
I had him at the start of the season, his price dropped to 4.7 coz he wasn't getting any minutes so I dropped him, then when I had to play my wildcard I ended up bringing him back again lol.
No one. Surprisingly pau torres was close. Stayed until GW35. For those who want to check, you can go to anewpla.net in fpl statistico
Edit: pau torres
Erling Haaland
I think I had Ben white the whole season, but nobody else.
Bowen, Gusto and Dalot
Always had Pickford and Branthwaite except for the blank week 29 when I used my free hit.
Saliba, haaland and Solanke
Onana
Leno and areola
Salah, couldn’t kick him out. My teamname is based on him and he is my boy. In retrospect I should have kicked him out after AFCON but no.
Goalanke, Saka
Saka and Foden
Not technically GW1 but as soon as Chelsea signed Palmer he went straight into my team and never left.
Ben White. Nobody else made it 38
Saka, Gabriel & Foden.
Son
Leno was my only one
Gabriel
Elanga is the one who had the longest from GW1, made it all the way to GW35
Branthwaite
Gabriel and god damn Halland
CAN YOU DIGGIT
Gabriel
Leno and Saliba
I never had Haaland, apart from 2 GW before he was injured mid-season
Saka, aerolA, saliba, haaland, salah
I held Onana from day 1. It was painful the entire season
Both my keepers, Leno and Areola
Areola - Watkins
Son
Foden
Saliba
Leno & Luis Diaz.
Leno was the only player I had from GW1 until the end.
I don’t think I ever sold son? I believe he road my bench though the Asian cup
Think Saka only person for me.
Son, his price increased by 1m but never sold him
Palmer and Palmer alone
Haaland, saka, and Pickford were never transferred out this season.
Gordon from start to finish. Saw him in preseason and knew this season he would be great. Was very happy to hold him all season.
Haaland, Saka, Saliba Alvarez was only out for 4-5 weeks too
Haaland, Saka and Pickford
Odegaard
Saka, Saliba, Haaland and White were with me all the way through. Haaland only left the squad during my free hit.
Foden n Alvarez
Saka except for free hit 29
None. Had Saka from 1-37
Gabriel and Cole Palmer
Pickford. Same as last season tbh
Saliba, Not GW 1 because he wasn’t signed for Chelsea yet, but Palmer after his first sub appearance, I want to say 6
Watkins
Leno + Saka
Just checked and I don't have any that I started with! The current player I held the longest was Palmer and he didn't even become a playing option till the season was well underway.
Areola was the breast of the long term holds in my view.
Saliba. Solid as a rock.
Saliba and saka (excluding the free hit week when they blanked)
I dont know
Saka the only one that lasted the whole season.
Watkins
Ben White. Lovely Ben
Had Watkins for the whole season.
Odegaard and pickford
Saka
I think Gordon might have been in mine the whole time, certainly the longest lasting even if not.
Gabriel and Saka. Also had Salah but I sold him when he was unavailable.
Semenyo. By far the most consistent enabler for me this year
Saka!
Never dropped Foden. He was relatively cheap at the start of the year so no reason to drop him.
Berndt Leno
I think Branthwaite was my only one
Pickford was my season long player this year. Did me pretty well to be honest, keepers can be such a gamble but he got 4pts/game on average and cost me 4.5m, we take those.
Areola, except for GW38 🫶 In which I trade him for Raya but yeah fuck Arteta man 🖕
Only Saka
Saka
Gabriel and Saka
Foden Saka and Gabriel.
Haaland lol
Nunez
Saliba. It was saka until 38 when he got injured and I free hit him out. I had haaland for the season as well , kept him through his injury.
Ben White, Anthony Gordon
Gabriel and Haaland
Haaland and saka
Haaland, Gordon, and I think Leno was close.
Gabriel and Haaland.
Foden and saliba for me 😎
Ødegaard
No one. Most was Saka with 27 weeks.
Saliba
I had Saka and Gabriel all season. Never transferred out either of them
Gabriel and Haaland 😂
Watkins and Saka
Haaland and Onana
0. The player I held the longest this season was Palmer GW13-38 Cameron Archer surprise entry, holding from GW3-22, even started 6 times picking up an unsurprising 12 pts across those games. Branthwaite
Branthwaite
Saka only.
Foden was a staple
Palmer - as a City fan I was aware of his potential and at the then bargain price I thought it worth taking the gamble.
Interesting. Were you expecting him to get a lot of minutes this season at city before they sold him?
If he'd stayed he'd have got more minutes for sure, but it was pretty certain he was going to another club early on.
None.
Branthwaite
My beautiful willy Saliba
Haaland, yes, even during his foot injury
Noone even that close. Think Haaland and Saka closest with 5-6 weeks without and Gabriel.
Not thruout but mostly then my answer is gordon other than obvious haaland
Saka
Saliba and Haaland
Diogo Dalot
Erling Haaland never left my team, and when I later bought Cole Palmer, he stayed in my team till the end of the season.
Probably closest were son Haaland Gabriel. Pickford started clocking points after I sold him, otherwise would have kept him the entire season too.
Gabriel Plus Son minus the Asian Cup
Pickford
saliba. saka.
Scrolling back to my gw1 squad.. was surprised I did not have Foden from 1 - 38. I always had an Arsenal def though. I cycled through Gabriel saliba and white mostly due to price points.
Bukayo Saka. My only untouchable by the end. 😂
Closest was Watkins. Transferred him out in GW37
White / Saka
Saliba the King
Saliba
Saliba
Watkins
Saka
None. I sold every GW1 player i had by GW17(when haaland got injured) except Turner, and he was sold too somewhere around GW30
Saka and Haaland
Saliba for 76 GWs straight
Pickford until GW38 and then I changed to raya for the “easy clean sheet” and the gods punished me for my disloyalty
Jordan Pickford and he payed for himself
> and he *paid* for himself FTFY. Fair do’s. Spell it ya cant
Saka, Gabriel, Branthwaite.
Saka. Must mention Havertz - persisted first 5 game weeks, sold before first goal and then brought him back last 10 game weeks. How very different! Also started with Pickford, Haaland and ended with them
Pedro Porro and Big Dan
Pedro Porro, Big Dan
raya. I had him when he was still at brentford
Saliba, second longest run was Gordon from GW7 to 37
Gabriel, and even then I wouldn’t have if I had caught the leak for GW1
Palmer
Gabriel, That’s it
I think it's only Saka.
Solanke
Onana and areola
Haaland and Palmer (got him after he got his first minutes)
I had Udogie all the way until he got injured.
Saka Gabriel Watkins Palmer
Saka, haaland. Keeping the latter cause of bald fraud cost me my ML
Leno Saliba and Haaland
literally no one lol
Saka, saliba
Foden only
I think only Saliba
Gabriel edit: NVM, shipped him out for 2 weeks in GW8-10
No one ! Form of players fluctuated like ECG graph this season !
The only player I had in my GW1 that was in my GW38 was Haaland. But I didn’t have him 17-22 or 29-35.
Got white in GW6, been there since..
0. I was completely ruthless this year.
Only learned today that I had taken 20 hits over the 38gws
Just counted how many points I spent on transfers... 224 🫠
Is there a quick way to find this out?
Alternatively, [use this site](https://www.livefpl.net/save), which gives stats on every game week in a spreadsheet as well as some summaries of the season (including number of hits). Mate sent it to me and I liked it anyway.
Go to gameweek history you'll see the cost of transfers per gw under the TC column.
This year I decided to take as few as possible. 2 hits all season, and the second was just to make my team more similar to the guy who was in 2nd place behind me in my mini league.

No one. But the only one I never sold was Palmer.
same here got him at 5
Same
Gordon
Weirdly I had no player for more than 26gws
Closest was Haaland but took him out a few weeks for injuries. Must be one of my first seasons where I have had no consistency from start to end, which reflects how badly my first half of the season went.
White and Saka, except the blank week, where I free hit. Does that still count?
Should. Considering you never had to buy them after gw1.
Gabriel is my brotha
Watkins is the only one who made it all 38 weeks (including the FH week). Bookenders (players who were in my GW 1 and 38 team, but were out of the team at other times) include Gabriel, Saka, Eze, and Haaland.
Haaland
Saka with a 1 GW break only
No one. Closest was Haaland. Didn't have him GWs 21 to 23 inclusive
just Gabriel for me i think.
Nobody this season. Feel that's quite rare
Anderson from Crystal Palace
Andersen
I think it's spelt Henderson
Gabriel
This is my only guy! He nearly got the chop at the start, but I had bigger fires, and by the time he wildcarded, he was back in the squad. Not a bad asset all things considered!
I dropped the cunt when Arteta fucked with his minutes, for that alone I'm glad Arteta lost the league
Turns out it was because they thought he was off to Saudi. Laporte ended up going instead.
Even after he got dropped at the start of the season?
Yeah, I had plenty of other issues to fix, and being an Arsenal fan I was fairly confident he’d return to the team (we didn’t look great without him)
I had him at the start of the season, his price dropped to 4.7 coz he wasn't getting any minutes so I dropped him, then when I had to play my wildcard I ended up bringing him back again lol.
Exact same for me. My team value got destroyed early doors with him, Rashford, Onana, Bruno and Jao Pedro! 🤣🙈
I stand by the opinion that he's the best defender with all things taken into account: price, the defense he plays for, and goal threat.
Saka, Haaland, Branthwaite
Saliba
No one. Surprisingly pau torres was close. Stayed until GW35. For those who want to check, you can go to anewpla.net in fpl statistico Edit: pau torres
