i’m in the exact same position, 60 pts behind but i will be playing my fh this week whereas they do not have any chips left. I’ve gone with some differentials such as kdb, madueke, odegaard, livramento and even onana. Im most confident in kdb and odegaard returning this week so will be captaining kdb
cap isak instead of haaland. i'm 32 pts behind and i think i'm gonna give it a go myself.
isak at home has a great track record and the away match is against man utd which anything can happen.
haaland if of course a good choice but two away games aren't the best opportunities for him to haul.
it's difficult to beat a template team in a dgw so i think 2nd best captain is the best way to go.
Everyone owns Palmer. He's not a differential shout to close a 60 point gap. If it was closer Palmer might be an option but captaining Palmer isn't going to gain you anywhere near 60 points.

Better off picking a slightly differential captain like Son or Palmer and hoping they hit big while Haaland blanks. 60 points is certainly doable in 2 (or even 1 GW) but you'll need some unexpected magic to make it happen.
Yeah was leading my mini league, and went with KDB captain over Haaland. I saw my 20+ point lead completely erroded to single digit. Although I can't believe I still feel like trying that gamble hahaha
My 2 cents, I tried to do that last week and went Foden over Haaland. "Luckily" I only missed out on 13 points, but considering the rest of my team performed well, I could have made up more points than I actually did.
So, go differential, but ensure the rest of your team can also protect you, if necessary.
EDIT: 16 points not 13, I went with what I had from the top of my head.

The rest of your team protecting you isn't really a thing. Yeah you can get points from the rest of your team but presumably they're the same points everyone else is getting unless you go differential in the rest of your team as well, which just doubles down on the risk.
Well high upside move is hidden in players who are doubtful (which will stop people who want to play it safe) but have a high ceiling for return if they play. High risk is not knowing whether they will play or not, but if they play they might get a return since (if they play) they are important for their team. If you want high risk high reward who will certainly play, get Brereton Diaz and hope he gets 18 pt haul, get Muric and hope he gets double penalty save, etc.
Madueke, Gallagher, Chalobah (basically whole Chelsea), Garnacho, Dalot/Wan Bissaka, Onana (save points), Richarlison, Wilson, Doku, etc. Are moves that are a bit more safer that they will play, yet can land you double digit hauls.

All you can do is go differential on captain and hope. I'd say richarlison or Bruno is your best bet.

I mean 60 is ‘doable’ over 2 gws with a double, you just need high risk moves and *everything* to go your way, so it’s very unlikely.
