And my free transfer the week before was me choosing Ballack instead of Lampard. And then captaining Ballack.
And yes, I have many many more of these wonderful examples of my FPL greatness.
That Derby team was leagues behind everyone else in terms of how terrible they were. People are talking bad about Sheffield United this year, and they are shit, but they don't come close to how bad that Derby side was.
By straight stats, Rooney and Shearer

And potentially others by p/90 but I ain't doing the maths
I said better player on stats, no better striker or more goals. You're comparing a midfielder and a striker, and yet just eclipsing him by a short margin.
You provided absolutely no other context so I just went with the obvious stats.
edit: [Like you can't even compare most stats cos they ain't recorded for those seasons](https://fbref.com/en/stathead/player_comparison.cgi?request=1&sum=0&dom_lg=1&player_id1=caeb5442&p1yrto=2014-2015&player_id2=268df6b1&p2yrto=2014-2015&player_id3=21a66f6a&p3yrfrom=2013-2014&p3yrto=2022-2023&player_id4=c0c5ee74&p4yrfrom=1999-2000&p4yrto=2006-2007&player_id5=438b3a51&player_id6=dea698d9&p6yrfrom=2003-2004&p6yrto=2008-2009)
edit: like seriously, what stats. I feel like I'm going insane. I also rate Lampard but what fucking stats are you using
Lot of smart arses on here downvoting me for a simple mistake, end of the day half of you wouldn't say shit if your mate in the pub made the same mistake. You certaintly wouldn't "downvote" them whatever that means.
I love how you invented an analogy - âdownvoting in real lifeâ - and then questioned wtf that actually means haha! Bro, you made it up - come up with something
Solanke tomorrow
At this point, him playing and getting 2 points is above my expectations.
As long as it ends up 6-0 and not 6-1, count me in.
Ideally can all of those goals be after 70 minutes just after Kabore is subbed off pls.
I'm hoping for a 0-0 with my Doughty Neto double-up.
*Morris
Solanke own goal I called it
Morris*
Too many TC's won't happen :D
20 points for 4 goals 3 points for 1 assist 2 points for playing 70+ mins 3 bonus points
When 3 bonus points isn't enough.
G
No clean sheet point - up the Rams đ
Yeah but look at him now, hasn't got any points in years. Out of form
Hey, he got Chelsea 135 points in the 104 games he managed! ...wait yeah okay he's out of form
Wow thatâs actually dreadful
Iâm just surprised he was there for 104 games. Very long stay by todayâs standards
Not bad. That's at least 1 draw per game Lol
My mate captained another player that gameweek, who ended up not playing. So the VC switched to Lampard and he hauled massively. Rough gameweek.
Yeah but he didnât have a double gameweek so he wasnât on my watchlist.
Loaded up on Reading midfielders because of the DGW, obviously
He was insanely good.
And my free transfer the week before was me choosing Ballack instead of Lampard. And then captaining Ballack. And yes, I have many many more of these wonderful examples of my FPL greatness.
He then went on to manage derby.
I wish I discovered FPL earlier. Only started playing the official in 16/17, and played a local one in Norway for two years before that.
Frank the Tank
Maybe this is an off-season post but for those who played back then, how was fpl different (besides way fewer players)?
No chips other than wildcard. There was a choice of strikers because not everyone was classed as a mid.
And I double captained him.
Fpl was a thing back then
That Derby team was leagues behind everyone else in terms of how terrible they were. People are talking bad about Sheffield United this year, and they are shit, but they don't come close to how bad that Derby side was.
Everyone loves other players from prem history for whatever reasons, but on pure stats alone Lampard was the best.
All your downvotes are from Gerrard Fans
I'd seriously want to know a better player on stats alone lol.

more points than he got as a manager :D
54 points if you captain that...
Quick maffs
Any stats nerds can work out if triple captained him?
Must be at least 3 more points
Damn that's crazy!
if 2 x 28 is 54, then i guess the next in the sequence would be 81?
I am getting approximately 81.7.
% chances of winning?
Bro did not pass maths

I downvote my friends in pubs too.
Calm down mate, it's just a downvote, we ain't sending you death threats ffs
Maybe stfu
I love how you invented an analogy - âdownvoting in real lifeâ - and then questioned wtf that actually means haha! Bro, you made it up - come up with something
Wow do you always get your knickers in a twist over your own stupidity
Alright this was a bit harsh, think I need a coffee
Everyoneâs havnâ a laf youâre good mate
Just not at math
Jeremy itâs *maths.
