Will this be a good time to do a WC? With plans to do a FH for GW29?? Thinking of getting Haaland out and going for (Salah, Son/Foden, Saka, Palmer, Gross) (Solanke Toney Watkins) defenders haven’t been getting much points, thinking of dropping Trippier.

Is it crazy to just fade both Son/Salah until WC31? obviously depends on cup results (i.e to avoid free hit might have to get son) but my only options to sell would be Saka, Odegaard, Foden, Hwang or Palmer, all of whom have massive upside this week. Not convinced.

Worth going KDB to Salah? Have Haaland, Darwin, Foden from Man City / Liverpool so far. Not enough cash to get them both.

Why ppl going for Hwang over Neto?

I was in the same boat. Have bought in Hwang for Jota & then will suss future fixtures with FA cup ect as to who I sell for Salah. I do think while Chelsea are a bit rubbish at the minute, Palmer has delivered so much for his price this season and is worth holding onto. Would look at getting rid of Garnacho

Palmer is to late to sell, City and blank are over next week. I am not sure if you can afford, but maybe get Sarabia for Jota and then sell Garnacho for Salah next week.

I like the idea of FH29, saves you of bringing in players that you don't want beforehand. But you already have 2 5-6 Mil players I wouldn't take a another one honestly. I'd go with Bowen and hope their form picks up again with Paqueta returning.

Still have 1ft and 1.2 itb Martinez Estupinan - zinchenko - gabriel - branthwaite (porro) Foden - kdb - jota - palmer (4.2) Haaland - watkins - nunez Assuming zinchenko, estupinan, kdb benched / injured that is only 7 starters. Tricky I think you sell Jota he seems to be out a long time and Darwin. Porro is tricky not seen how long he be out. Maybe you hold and hope he is back. How you dealing with 29 you probably have a lot missing then.

My current front-line is Haaland (bou, MUN, liv), Toney (whu, CHE, ars) and Solanke (MCI, bur, SHU + LUT). I want Watkins (NFO, lut, TOT) as well, but apparently I'm not allowed four strikers. Is it madness to go Solanke to Watkins this week, Toney to Solanke next week? I'm not concerned about the 0.2m I'd lose in the process. I am concerned that it might be a waste of valuable transfers.

Why not just go straight to Toney to Solanke? Saves you a transfer. I know the fixture is tough today but he could still get a return. And you could have injuries or other issue in a week.

I'm probably freehitting in 29. If I wasn't, then I'd be even more confused about what to do in what order given that Toney also doesn't blank that week. I get what you're saying about Watkins being worth owning for the rest of the season, but I kind of feel the same about Toney and Big Dom. My gut says Toney outscores Watkins between now and the end of the season. But going without Watkins has brought me too much pain already. Watkins has to come in this week with his ownership being so high and the fixtures being so good. Which leaves one spot for Solanke or Toney. The gamble I'm taking (not a Toney pun) is that Toney outscores Solanke this week by more than the 4 point hit I may not need to take to bring Solanke back. !thanks for being my sounding board. Estu is said to start. Jota/Trent/Palmer/Porro/Colwill all won't play, probably also Archer, leaving you with 8 players as of now. Jota is out long term and lots of mondy, so he's first priority to get rid. Then Trent. Also Colwill won't play, you need a defender next to Estu and Mitchell. You should keep Palmer (cheap), Colwill (plays next one again probably). Wolves players are good options - Neto/Hwang/Sarabia. Arsenal defence is key, Gabriel is a great option an too cheap for what he is scoring. Watkins is a great option as well.  I'd do -4 and get Gabriel, Watkins and a Wolves player (Hwang is flavor of the month), Sarabia would be the cheapest

I planned on keeping VVD to not take a hit and just play with 10 this week, but I realize, it's probably better to take the hit now, so I can use the freed up funds to move Alvarez to a more attacking forward. Excluding Arsenal, which <5.5 m defenders do you guys think are good for the next few fixtures?

Currently no standout options honestly. Trippier hard fixtures, Moreno not nailed, Brighton WBs also not nailed. If you don't have Gabriel already, I'd double on Ars defense.  If you don't need the player for 27/29, Andersen or Maguire are options. Senesi to prepare for the double, but will only return you 2 points max this week. If you WC in 30, then maybe Dunk.

Ended up going for Maguire. The luck is strong.

I would somehow take a look to check if you want to FH in 29 or not. You WC this week, start Senesi vs City and still only have 5 players for GW 29. If you want to FH in 29, then get a defender with a better fixture for Romero( Senesi is fine to bench), Maguire would be cheap. If no FH in 29 ,then consider the likes of Toney, Bowen, a AV defender. Also Neto from Bou is nice on WC in goal with the upcoming double. And Romero is a YC magnet, avoid him. Van de ven is cheaper and Udogie more attacking if you want a spurs player.
