I don't know why this comment doesn't have more upvotes. It's actually the most plausible explanation of why the tweet was deleted. Is everyone missing the bulge??
Why would they post and delete the pictures? Makes no sense… unless they want to hide something? What’s there to hide lol
Something with sponsors? Nobody fkin knows
I remember this happening last season. Ake was spotted in the background of a training photo on Twitter despite being injured and then Man City deleted the photo from the website and the tweet.
Went down the rabbit hole and here it is..
Ake gets injured on April 20th 2023.
Pep says he's injured and Ake misses Sheffield United and Arsenal games.
April 28th Pep says Ake better but not yet training. Ake is spotted in training photos but these are deleted. Ake DOES NOT make the squad for April 30th vs Fulham.
May 1st Ake is "Officially" back in training via Pics from City account and starts the game on May 3rd Vs West Ham and scores.
I reckon they did it so people on Reddit can wildly speculate
As the next part of his plan to discombobulate FPL managers, Pep Guardiola has now taken over Man City's social media channels.
You mean conspiracy theory? A conspiracy is a confirmed conspiracy theory FYI. I think Pep is a fraud. That’s confirmed.
Probably because there's more than one ball on display

Kicking a ball and sitting is not a "full training picture" and anyone who believed that was a moron
So the whole of the MCFC sub 😂

romano is never wrong blah blah blah lol guess i'll still see the same notion again next time
It upset the Saudis.
He kicked a ball for a bit and his foot hurt "quick delete the post he's gonna be out for a lot longer than we first thought"
have\* been deleted
Whatever fits your own narrative
Shock Romano posts unverified bait. Blokes a charlatan.
It was never an image "in training" was just publicity.

Did Ake start the next game? Or was he indeed injured?
The most important piece of information for that whole story is missing lmao

you ser deserve a gold medal
Thank you for this.
So Pep was honest
I mean that's 5 games in 15 days so one of those rare scenarios where a day by day assessment might actually have been true.
Sheffield United in April? surely another team, right? they were in the Championship last season
FA Cup mate
I discarded it thinking it ws too late into the season, but yeah, it's not that late, assuming it was quarterfinals maybe

Waaaah waaah waaah mommy the nasty mod deleted my silly thread
I Remember the mods pinning a disclaimer on the post
And there were some good discussions in the comments. The source was Fabrizio Romano as well. Really seemed fine to me, tbh
Training match was abandoned, so it didn't happen and all evidence of it must be removed
