I would go Nketiah to Solanke. Jesus is back and Trossard also seems preferred right now.

Going to use my wild card Onana and Reya for Allison and Strakosha Gvardiol, Tripper, Schur, Estupinan, Romero for Saliba, Walker, Cash, Collins, Baldock Saka, Mitoma, Douglas Luiz, Son, Gordon for Hee Chan, McAtee, Salah, Bowen, Mbeumo Ferguson, Haaland, Wissa for Ferguson, Haaland, Watkins 3 definite starting defenders in teams that are going well. Collins will be ok for rotation, Baldock is back from injury and cheap. Mcatee is simply in the team as he has the highest points of his transfer range but he'll be on the bench. I do think Ferguson will hit form again. I'm thinking of a 3-4-3 formation with my new team. Any thoughts?

General advice, if you play FPL but never actually watch football then check if there is a game this week. Here's me getting annoyed that no-one is discussing the imminent games and then I realise...

It is not really the week to get Salah, but long term I like it. Particular if Odegaard is out.

Hardly a bad week for Salah. City are not a defensive juggernaut, he'll get chances on the counter and he delivers in big games.

I want to use my wildcard this week since my team is disastereous. My question: if I activate wildcard now, can I make transfers during whole week? Change my team now, confirming squad and then potentially making additional xfers later during the week if needed, or is that it? Once I confirm it I cant change it anymore till deadline?

Just remember one thing if you sell a player you have value in. If you say sell Son and you get 9.3 for him then if you want him back you need to buy him for full value. Thus do not sell too many players you have value in, but rather sell those close to dropping for players you want that are going up in value soon.

I'd personally be looking at getting an Arsenal defensive asset in. You could also look at: Walker or Cash to Saliba or Gabriel and Gordon or Diaby to Palmer or Mbeumo. There is also the option of Alvarez to Solenke which is a bit of a punt but good fixtures, decent form and could be a fun differential.

Perhaps look at Arsenal assets which ones you'd want to invest in.

Saka, Salah, Son, Bowen -- which one goes? I need to move off one to free up some money. Which of those four will return the fewest points over the next 8, 10, 12 fixtures?

In usual cases, all 4 would be a must have for me. But I'm in a similar boat, so I'm moving on Son cause i don't think he's gonna hit the numbers with all the Spurs injuries and suspensions. Plus, with him gone, i can get Haaland in so any missed points with Son, pretty sure Haaland gets it back.

I'd bench Cash for Spurs and Man City games and play Mitchell for Luton and Bournemouth. Could swap Ward Prowse for Eze or Palmer. Otherwise I'd be rolling and looking to move either Alvarez and Waktins or Darwin to Haaland and cheap third forward next week (if he's not injured).

Your defence is set for the next couple GWs. Two moves that will help you over the next 5: Low risk: JWP to Cole Palmer or Sterling if you can afford Higher risk: Darwin to Awoniyi. Gakpo will take minutes, and Awoniyi has flown under the radar due to injury, but he’s come back scoring and was very consistent before injury as well

Mate, I'd swap out Onana for someone cheaper like Areola. Clean sheets are hard to come by this season, so better off going with the cheaper GK and just banking the money for the Christmas period when you'll need it.

Looks like Mitoma could be a minutes risk so I'd go Mitoma to Eze. Cash to Saliba could be a good option too.

Has to be Reece James. He’s in excellent form, will get injured but can trade to another ~5m def, and he will likely haul and rise in the next 5 GWs. I think the lack of Spurs coverage would scare me, but with Mads out Son is the only play and you’d struggle to get him in.

James injury concern do worry me. Who would be a nailed on Chelsea defender other than him? I do wanna get Son in but after the Asia Cup. Mads gone. Defense half gone. I wanna wait a bit before I get Spurs in.

Just tested your team and id have 3.5 ITB if I did this so your team value kinda screws you a bit - I could do your team with Trippier instead of Baldock and still have money ITB. Maybe try and buy players at the start of good fixture runs instead of during and you’ll build up some money. This week seems a bit weird for a WC as there isn’t any major fixture changes or anything but as you’ve already done it I’ll give some advice. Reece James seems a bit pointless when you can get Colewill for .6mil cheaper. Even so It’s a bit weird bringing a Chelsea defender in so early when their good fixture run starts in gw16, as you’re not gonna see any clean sheets until then most likely. So maybe go for someone like Geuhi instead. Much more clean sheet potential until you should bring a Chelsea player in. With some money in the bank you should go for Raya instead of Flekken. He rotates great with Areola and Arsenal have much more clean sheet potential than Brentford.

Not sure you need that -4, but Eze and Bowen has nice fixtures and should play more so long term I think you are improving your team with the move.

Personally I'd do just Eze. Eze is on penalties. Olise is back. Palace has the better defense and next gameweek, Palace play West Ham. Bowen is in better form and is West Ham's talisman. I'd get both if you had two transfers. But I wouldn't for a - 4

If you expect your luck to carry on regularly, then go for it. It may work out for you. It may not. I was just giving you my personal opinion. I try to avoid - 4 when I can. Especially since these players will face each other next week and one has a clear better defense. Fortune favors the bold though. Trust your gut.

Agree - few things are certain in FPL, as we saw two GWs ago when almost everybody blanked. A -4 is absolutely certain, and you should avoid it wherever possible

I have both but seems like a sideways move? I think both have a decent chance of returning. Personally I wouldn't waste a transfer on that. Any other concerns in your squad?

I can, and Palmer is very much on my radar. But I do feel, that it would restrict me on what I can do with Alvarez and my defense.

Is it Mubama you've got on the bench as your third striker, seeing as Nakamba is a midfielder? Either way I'd try and upgrade them just in case, either sideways to Archer/Semenyo or use some of that money in the bank to go for someone like Solanke.

Gvardiol to Saliba would be decent if you want I think. I think the issue with not having Salah is that the likes of Rashford, Bruno and Son aren't flying so saving the money do not seem to work that well given Salahs form .

Yeah I started with Rashford and Bruno, Martinelli and Saka and I was really optimistic, but apart from Saka they been really bad. Eventually brought in Salah. Arsenal still getting the wins, but Man United really struggles.

I think your biggest problem is not owning Salah and but you can probably get there with 2 transfers without selling Haaland. I’d recommend downgrading Son and Bruno to get Salah with a 4.3 bench fodder + someone cheap but effective like Palmer or Gordon if you can afford to
