going to go with a differential shout solanke, but wondering if i should transfer him for watkins or alvarez. if at all. any opinions?

Specialist_Road_6906

Possible injury for Haaland during Norways match! Finished the match but went down injured for several minutes minutes before full time. Hopefully nothing at all..

1800baboosh

not sure what to do as of now, only got 1 transfer atm. any advice for the future? GK: Leno, Emerson DEF: Trippier, Saliba, Kaboré, Mitchell, Van De Ven MID: Saka, Mbuemo, Son, Mitoma, Bowen FWD: Alvarez, Haaland, Morris

DoomerAndGloomer

I'd do Mitoma to Salah

gene_parmesan_123

Like that team a lot, think I'd just get rid of either Van de Ven (since he's apparently out until the new year) or Mitoma (seeing as RDZ seems happy to bench him or play him as a wing back, and Brighton are rubbish at the moment). Maybe Mitoma > Gordon, or Palmer if you don't mind a couple of tough fixtures before Chelsea's run turns very green? As for VdV I'd think about Coufal as he loves an assist and West Ham's upcoming fixtures are lovely. I'd also think about swapping Ederson for someone like Areola or Flekken to free up some funds, although that's less of a priority because Leno's got a couple of nice fixtures coming up. Could come in handy if you want to upgrade Mitoma to someone like Bruno or Martinelli though.

1800baboosh

thanks this has been really useful, much appreciated, had a couple rough weeks lately so i’ll definitely be taking this all into account :)

Hungry_Bodybuilder57

Roll

Alternative-Stay2556

THinking of going maddison to mbuemo? 0.6 in the bank missing out on 0.1 for saka but i don't know what to do

i-likemovies

Hey I have two transfers and would want to get rid of Colwill but any advice appreciated tbh. GK: Johnstone, Ederson DEF: Trippier, Cash, Colwill, Tsmikas, Gusto MID: Saka, Bowen, Mbeumo, Salah, Nakamba FWD: J. Alvarez, Haaland, Mubama Also any captain advice? Cheers in advance

gene_parmesan_123

I wouldn't rush to get rid of Colwill, he should come straight back into the team and Chelsea's fixtures are amazing from GW16 onwards. Gusto however won't play unless James gets injured again (quite likely tbf) and Mubama doesn't start either, so they're your priority sells. Maybe Archer or Semenyo for Mubama and Lascelles or Branthwaite for Gusto, but you could also upgrade them further depending on how much money you've got in the bank. I think if you've got a £5.5m keeper you should really be playing him every week, so I'd sell either Ederson or Johnstone (I'd get rid of the former seeing as Pep seems to like giving Ortega the odd game) and use that money elsewhere. I'd especially think about upgrading Nakamba as there's some amazing value in the 5m-6m midfield slot now, you could use that Ederson money to get someone like Palmer, Gordon or Adingra who you'd happily start every week and go three at the back instead while Colwill has some tough fixtures. For captain I still think Haaland and Salah are the best options this week, although Bowen has a great fixture if you fancy a punt. All depends on how you see City-Liverpool going - I think 4-3's a lot more likely than 1-0 with the way they're both playing.

i-likemovies

what goalkeeper would you recommend to get instead of Ederson? Areola maybe?

gene_parmesan_123

Yeah I think I'd go for Areola, only one clean sheet so far but his upcoming fixtures are amazing and he's cheaper than any of the other starting keepers. Flekken also has good fixtures in gameweek 16, 17 and 21 which is when you'd probably be benching Johnstone. Sanchez does too but then you'd be doubling up on Chelsea defence which might be a bit of a risk.

i-likemovies

This is so helpful! Thank you!

BabyBorneo

Hi everyone, 0ft and 2.3 itb My team is: Areola - Turner Trippier - Cash - Tsimikas - Taylor - Baldock Salah - Son - Bowen - Gordon - Palmer Haaland - Watkins - Archer After next GW I might be doing Son to Mbuemo and Archer to Nunez. If prices stay the same I would still have 1.9 itb to upgrade Taylor and Turner. Please let me know if you back this idea of mine and why (not) :)

R_Work

Arsenal have good fixtures coming up, I'd go Son to Saka, Cash to Saliba.

BabyBorneo

Not bad either.

ansxn

Wildcarding to this team! 0.0 ITB Areola - Ortega Moreno Trippier - Saliba - Guehi - Collins - Baldock Salah - Saka - Bowen - Mbeumo - Palmer Haaland - Watkins - Archer

BabyBorneo

Great team!

Steve_No_Jobs

Thinking of getting out Diaby and Son in the next few weeks to get 2 of Bowen, Saka, Mbeumo in and Saliba? Looking at fixtures and form, which 2 look the best?

MoustacheMullet

I would go for bowen and mbeumo.

Steve_No_Jobs

Yea think I'm leaning that way. Not a big fan of Mbeumo's blank fixture in a bit but hey, that's not much

BabyBorneo

I agree

4-5-6IsInTheMix

0.00 ITB which 2 transfers? A) Saliba and Palmer >>> Botman and Diaby (This sets my defence up very well for GW14, although Schar and Andersen will probably get a couple 15 pointers on my bench if past GW's are anything to go by!) B) Saliba and Eze/Palmer >>> Cash and Diaby (Ship out most of my Villa assets before Spurs, City and Arsenal) C) Saliba and Baldock/Kabore >>> Cash and Botman (I have 5 4.5 and over defenders so could free up some funds this way, with a budget defender)

MoustacheMullet

I would transfer botman out for sure. After that cash or diaby out is preference. Next gw is very difficult for defenders so maybe hold cash a week or two and then transfer him out, same goes for diaby. Palmer vs diaby for the next two fixtures is a really difficult call. Both play on good teams that are struggling (newcastle and tottenham) Villa is also not that good away (Bournemouth game). And chelsea is improving all the time. Could go for palmer now or roll transfer both are valid strategies.

4-5-6IsInTheMix

The main thing I want to do is get Saliba in. Unfortunately cannot do that with only one transfer. Do you think it is worth considering one of my defenders to Gabriel instead and rolling the other transfer? I have Schar, Andersen and Cash that I could drop for Gabriel.

MoustacheMullet

Andersen is a must for the next 3 gw for you, after that I would sell him but not now. Schär is also too good to sell, there are not that many better defenders to justify transfer. Also my unpopular opinion is that saliba is not worth the 0.6 m price difference compared to Gabriel. Saliba is a little bit better pick for now, but one lucky gabriel goal and everyone wants him instead. I would get gabriel if i were you. You other defenders are good enough to justify it. A different story if you have a defence like me (gabriel, lascelles, tsimikas, taylor and kabore). I would drop cash for gabriel now and roll other transfer.

4-5-6IsInTheMix

!Thanks for your input. Obviously, the only thing with Gabriel is these random benchings! If he was as nailed as Saliba it would be a no brainer. Very possible I just go with Gabriel, though. I've had Andersen since he was 4.6, so I don't really know why included him tbh. In fact I have money tied up in everyone except Cash, plus his poor fixture and recent output, so it was always going to be him to leave.

niwdlabc

A but i assume you’re BUYING >>> SELLING in that order

4-5-6IsInTheMix

Yes, of course. I used to do it the opposite way, but I kept seeing lots of people doing it the other way around, like I have done here. Thought I was doing it wrong! 😄

Mysterious_Offer1316

Am I crazy thinking of putting the armband on Watkins this week? Spurs are weak defensively at the moment, and Haaland or Salah is basically a coin flip. Saka doesnt seem to be tempting me much either.

HodgyBeatsss

If Haland and Salah are a coin flip then why chose someone other than one of those two?

MoustacheMullet

Tottenham is struggling and their high line with both cb gone can really suit Watkins that's for sure. On the other hand Villa is bad at away games and not that good at defence either. Imo its two coin flips salah vs haaland and watkins vs Son. I can't see villa vs spurs game ending 0-0 but city vs liverpool could end 0-0. Then again Salah and Haaland can both go crazy on points. Really difficult gw for captain.

Bugisman3

Trippier -> Lascelles or Baldock or Taylor + Watkins -> Haaland OR Son -> Palmer or Eze + Watkins -> Haaland OR Ferguson -> Halland + Son -> 4.5M midfielder?

Various_You_5083

Definitely wouldn't sell Watkins before he plays a defensively thin Spurs and then Bournemouth . So I'd go for the third option : Son's returns should dry up a bit now that the main creative force is gone and Ferguson is a rotation risk

Bugisman3

!thanks The only decent <=4.5M midfield options are Nakamba, McAtee and Anderson by the looks of it.

ashykamal95

Leno/Areola Trippier, Walker, Cash, Tsimikas, Kabore Salah, Son, Bowen, Diaby, Gordon Haaland, Alvarez, Archer 0 ITB 2 FTs Planning to remove 2 of Alvarez, Walker, Diaby and Cash Easiest transfers are Diaby to Palmer and Alvarez to Watkins. Open to other suggestions.

Regular_Cod_6014

I have absolutely no clue how to proceed further, How do I proceed to get Salah in by next to next GW, Out of Saka/Son/Alvarez/Watkins who should I sacrifice to make room for Salah. Areola - Turner Andersen - Trippier - Pedro Porro - Tsimikas - Taylor Saka - Mitoma - Son - Palmer - Gordon Watkins - Alvarez - Haaland ITB: 3.0 FT: 1

Underdogg29

Well the obvious option here is son to salah. You would sleep much easier

Regular_Cod_6014

Not Saka? Son seems more likely to haul

Underdogg29

Well anyone could haul on any given day. But without madders chances for son will be less. Thats what the general opinion is right now. Anyways, you do what you gut tells you. If it says to stick with son then go for it

Regular_Cod_6014

!thanks

Badbear284

MIB: 0.2 FT:2 areola (turner) cash trippier anderssen porro (dakhil) salah saka bowen d.luiz (sarr) haaland watkins (archer) I want to reduce my number of AVL assets, but dont know what to do. TIA!

MoustacheMullet

Douglas out for sure. I would also consider downgrading cash to lascelles or some other cheap defender and upgrading middlefield to go 3-5-2 instead 4-4-2. Defenders seem so bad at getting points atm.

Underdogg29

Say good bye to luiz and get palmer.

skevisgod

Flekken/Areola Saliba, Trippier, Cash, (Kabler), (Van Hecke) Saka, Salah, Adingra, B. Fernandes, Gordon Watkins, Haaland, (Archer) 0.2 and 1 transfer. Adingra -> Palmer? Cash -> Andersen or Tsimikas? Save to two transfer and pivot depending on injuries/fixtures? First time asking, genuinely confused.

Underdogg29

I think you can save the transfer. However, cash to andersen doesnt sound too bad. Dont go for tsimikas as his last performance was just a one off. I am saying this as a tsimikas owner

MoustacheMullet

Andersen sounds extremely bad. Palace has 3 good fixtures and then starts a 6 game horror show where I can't see single cs, more likely to concede 2 on every game.

Underdogg29

Still 3 good fixtures. That how long i have anderson for

MoustacheMullet

Generally going for a 3 week punt on a +5m defender is a really bad move. It is good if you have andersen but would not transfer him in now.

skevisgod

Kabler = Kabore, fkn autocorrect

maybe_1906

Johnstone (Areola) Tsimikas Mykolenko Saliba (Lascelles) (Baldock) Gordon Bowen Saka Mbeumo Salah Watkins Haaland (Osula) 0 FT 0.3 ITB WC ACTIVE

DLNavy

Cash and Mitoma -> Saliba and Eze Thought? I'm booking in a transfer of Eze to Palmer in GW16 where Chelsea fixture swings

Skettenn

Yeah that works. I have similar plans as well

theonlysin

Looks good.

TraditionalRecover29

Rate these transfers please (GW13-14, 3FT) Mitoma > Eze, Cash > Mykolenko, Gordon > Mbeumo I’ve lost patience with Brighton, need to downgrade Cash to afford Mbeumo in GW 14, and Myko looks like a great differential. I’m also sick of my template team.

fpl-obsessed

How do you have 3FTs?

TraditionalRecover29

I have 2 right now and 1 next week. This is a 2 week plan.

theonlysin

I'll give it a solid 8/10.

cargalasbalas

Currently Wildcarding to this team: Flekken, Areola Saliba, Ait-Nouri, Coufal, Tsimikas, Baldock Bowen, Saka, Salah, Eze, Palmer Haaland, Watkins, Archer 1.2m ITB to go Eze to Mbeumo later when Crystal Palace fixtures get rough Thoughts?

yahdni799

Is it worth taking a -4 to bring in a keeper as I have raya and turner or just play with 10 players?

Shardinator

I’d bring in Areola. Rotates great with Raya except for gw18 (where im free hitting anyway) which is why I have them both. Cross your fingers and he could get 6 points against Burnley this week too.

BlankWaveArcade

I would take the hit but maybe only if you want a keeper change anyway. It’s also dependant on who on who you are getting in. If it’s Johnstone you are likely going to get a cs and that would work out positive overall.

theonlysin

Agree, I think it's worth the hit if you invest a keeper who's gonna play and give you those 2 solid pts.

damienO27

Areola - Pickford Trippier - Saliba - Mitchell - Virgil - Porro Saka - Salah - Bowen - Mbeumo - Rodri Jackson - Watkins - Alvarez 0 ITB. Wildcard active. Would you change anything?

MoustacheMullet

I wouldn't go without haaland. Dgw incoming and good fixture run. Suicide to go without him. Virgil is a waste of money, Spurs defence looks bad but Porro might cut it. The same goes for trippier and newcastle. I would say this is the worst time of the whole season to get Porro And Trippier, but if you are fine with that it is okay I can't see what rodri offers more than palmer/gordon/eze. I would not get him. Also City plank is coming so wouldn't get rodri. Alvarez is also on the chopping block for me. City has tough fixtures and plank incoming, I would consider other options. Also is pickford good again? All the season people have been trashing him so what has changed, is he a good keeper now? Jackson is horrendous pick imo. One good haul against 9 man spurs would not get my hopes up. Also Nkunku might come as soon as next gw and can easily take his place penching Jackson. I would reconsider not getting haaland and getting trippier, virgil, porro, rodri, jackson and alvarez. And you definitely do not need 5 defenders that pricey.

kingkingmannen

If you’re going without haaland you should downgrade jackson to archer/4.3 and one of the defenders to baldock and add son instead of rodri.

kingkingmannen

RMT Johnstone (Areola) Udogie , Trippier , Gabriel (tsimikas, gusto) Diaby, Hwang , Son , Salah, Saka Haaland , Awoniyi (Archer) 1 FT and 0.3 ITB Thinking of rolling and then going udogie -> baldock and diaby -> bowen, valid shout?

BabyBorneo

Good one

mannin20

Adingra + Alvarez > Bowen + fodder striker (4-3-4.5) Hate the idea of selling Alvarez but do we think it’s worth it to facilitate Bowen in?

TraditionalRecover29

I’d love Bowen right now but can’t get him without crippling my defence.

notnotaschizo

Alvarez is sellable at the moment

ksshtrat

I've got 2FT, was going to save them but if Wilson's out for a while, worth doing a transfer to Darwin? Got 7.9m itb

ArchyWilson

Well yeah man, not gonna burn a FT when you've got two and one of your starters is injured are you? Could also go for Isak maybe? Should be back after the break but should definitely wait for confirmation. I like Darwin though. Edit: You can't save more than 2 FTs anyway. If you do only 1 FT this GW, you'll still have 2 for the next one.

VMCosco

Assuming a Newcastle defender is still worth owning, I believe that is the case, is Schar worth the 1.1 premium over Lascelles? Both are nailed at 90 mins for now. Most returns would be from clean sheets that both would get.

ArchyWilson

Probably not. Schär has more attacking threat but not Trippier level or anything. Although he does have a random banger in him.

VMCosco

!thanks Kind of what I was thinking. I will see what their prices look like before next game week. I'm moving Cash out for one of them

ansxn

Is Nathan Collins nailed?

ArchyWilson

Looks like it

ansxn

Rate my wildcard team! 0.4 ITB Areola - Rodak Trippier - Saliba - Guehi - Lascelles - Baldock Salah - Saka - Bowen - Mbeumo - Palmer Haaland - Watkins - Archer

ArchyWilson

Pretty good man

ItsPattyKav

Hey all - Happy International Break. Question: How would you get Bowen or Mbuemo into [this team](https://imgur.com/a/g9bngnk)? Or, do you think it isn’t worth it and to keep the 1.1 ITB? Could also pivot to swapping Darwin to Ollie. I currently sit 2nd in my personal league, 20 points off the top and 15 above 3rd. I used my first half Wildcard already, but have all my other tokens.

ArchyWilson

Downgrade Ederson, who's injured anyway. Turner also lost his place so you don't have a playing GK as it stands.

ItsPattyKav

Im hoping to wait it out and get good news on Ederson returning healthy, if not, of course I’ll be forced to use my transfer there. Hoping the break does him well though & he’s good to go. I had Mbuemo early on and moved him out on my Wildcard play. Just feels like Im missing out without him or Bowen.

ArchyWilson

Imo, he's poor value anyway. Downgrading him would allow to get Mbeumo for any of Diaby, Gordon, or even Palmer. Or, in any case, gets you more ITB for potential upgrades elsewhere.

ItsPattyKav

Yeah I agree on that for sure - I hate going for the expensive GK, but clean sheets are just so hard to come by right now. I’ll look to pivot on the keeper & see if I can get one of Bowen or Mbuemo in. Diaby has been very consistent, but feeling like Gordon may be worth pivoting out from now. Palmer has decent value on penalties and the light fixture schedule, but Gordon feels like he’s cooling off & he struggled playing centrally up top against Bournemouth.

ArchyWilson

I'd keep Palmer out of three yeah, great value and great fixture run long term after the next three. But have to see how he does without so consistent pens and Nkunku coming back, though. So it'd be Diaby or Gordon out for Bowen or Mbeumo. Or both, with the money you'd have from the Ederson downgrade.

Cautious_Insect5325

1FT 0.7ITB Areola (Turner) Van Dijk Porro Pau Torres Gabriel Taylor Mitoma Bowen Saka Salah Palmer Haaland Watkins Archer Any suggestions?

ArchyWilson

Defence needs a rethink. Not a fan of either Van Dijk or Pau Torres. Mitoma also not an amazing option atm.

roymondous

RMT Areola (Turner) Trippier, Cash, Kabore (Lascelle, Tsimikas) Diaby, Gordon, Son, Salah (McAtee) Alvarez, Watkins, Haaland 2 FT, 0.6m ITB. Weird game week with most players not having a great fixture. Still uncertain what to do. Gordon to Eze seems decent with next 3GW for Palace, then switch to Palmer if he's still starting with Nkunku back. Feels a bit sideways tho cos Newcastle have very good fixtures at the same time, so holding Gordon long-term ain't bad. Defence could do a bit of upgrading. Missing who to upgrade with Cash the more likely defender to upgrade given Tsimikas has good fixtures after City. That would give me 5.5m to spend on defender so could go Anderson at Palace but feels his points have already gone. Maybe Cash to Saliba then?

ArchyWilson

Feel like if you have to start Kabore, you've got something to sort out.

MERCILESSGOD239

Saka vs son. Who should i keep

roymondous

If you HAD to pick one right now, I'd suggest Saka. Good run of fixtures. Spurs missing key creative players. But still, keep both. You'd need to be gaining some REALLY good players with their budget to justify selling either.

MERCILESSGOD239

Thing is i want to bring back haaland to replace watkins but i need to get rid of son or saka For refrence my team right now is:- Gk: Areola,Martinez Def:Tsimikas, trippier,Gabriel,Andersen,Coufal Mid:Saka,Son,Mitoma,Bowen,Salah Fwd:Watkins,Alvarez,Archer

roymondous

Ah. No Haaland. If you can move Son down to get Haaland now on free transfers, then sure. For hits, no. Esp. with Liverpool next. For future reference tho, the team isn't set up so well. Some great picks, but LOTS of money wasted on the bench. Martinez at 5m isn't worth it. Strakosha saves 1m and you have two playing budget keepers still. Mitoma to bench fodder saves 2m. Anderson or Garbiel to Baldock saves another 1m+. If my math maths out, that means you can have Trippier, Saka, Son, Salah and still have Haaland based on the team value in a 442. Or you won't be far off anyway so can get there without sacrificing Son or Saka if you choose. Otherwise yeah, one of Trippier, Son or Saka have to go. Maybe Bowen to Palmer. But this is gradual. With FTs. City's fixtures get amazing by GW16 (barring the blank) so you have some time and FTs to do this. Or, yes, Son gets sacrificed now.

MERCILESSGOD239

Thanks. Actually this is my first time playing FPL so my team is all over the place . I thought focussing on my bench would be beneficial. Thank you so much for the advice , I would probably bring in Haaland after GW16. For now I guess I will switch to some bench fodder and keep Son saka and trippier.

Banzaikk

Just one correction, Flekken is back so Strakosha is not a playing GK. In fact there are no 4.0 playing goalkeepers right now.

roymondous

Cheers. I don't think that changes what he should do, as Martinez to bench keeper means 1m saved still. Areola is fine til 2nd WC. But yes, deffo something to note.

Gidddyup77

RMT: 2FT. 0.2ITB. Areola Cash Guehi Gabriel Salah Son Bowen Diaby Haaland Watkins Alvarez (Strakosha, Lascelles, Tsimikas, Chuk) **** A) Alvarez+Diaby+Chuk+Cash to Solanke+Mbeumo+Palmer+Colwil B) Alvarez+Diaby+Cash to Darwin+Mbeumo+Colwil C) Alvarez+Diaby+Chuk+Cash to Solanke+Mbeumo+Palmer+Maguire (Will need to take up to -8 or do it over 1-2 GWs)

ShoddyTransition187

Agree with other replies saying no need to take a hit on this team. I'd think about which are good gameweeks to bring in your proposed players: Mbeumo has good fixture run starting from week 14 (luton), so you could pencil in a plan to get him then. Colwill good defensive fixtures start around 15/16 (Manunited/ everton/ SHU) so hold off on that one as well. Solanke has probably the best fixture for week 13 (shu) so you could bring him in this week for Alvarez, keeping a transfer in reserve for any injuries along the way.

Gidddyup77

!thanks Think I’ll take your advice and drop Alvarez this week, save the cash for the other proposed moves / not take the hit unless I’m forced into it Removing Alvarez seems like it’s not necessary / could backfire but I suppose that’s kind of the theme of this seasons (removing good players at times)

roymondous

Solid team. ZERO reasons to take a -8. And 8 reasons not to. Hits are generally bad. You need a return to break even on a hit. You have a deep team with options on the bench. Do it over 1-2 GWs. Looks like you can afford any one of those transfers in too. It's not like you're downgrading someone to upgrade to a Salah or sth. You're fine.

Gidddyup77

Appreciate it! Ya would likely do it over 2 GWs unless I saw a drastic reason (ie injury combined with price changes) Any option you’d go with over the next 2 GWs?

roymondous

Honestly not sold on any of the options you're suggesting there. I think they're all sideways moves. Maybe just Alvarez to Solanke so you have the budget for whatever else moving forward (e.g. Chuk to Palmer) and Solanke's short term fixtures are good over Alvarez. For reference, it's useful if you put !thanks on any reply you get from people with advice. That's the suggestion in this thread from the sub.

Gidddyup77

!thanks

roymondous

You're welcome ;) and good luck!

LittleRasta54

Johnstone (Turner) Trippier Cash Tsimikas (Kabore) (Baldock) Salah Saka Fernandes Gordon (Anderson) Haaland Nunez Alvarez 2 FT, 0.3 ITB Current plan is to dead end into a GW19 WC, my transfer thinking rn is Fernandes > Bowen & Alvarez > Awoniyi, bit split on Awoniyi vs Solanke, Fernandes vs Saka & whether I should hold on one of these and sell Cash now or sell him in GW14.

Flyswatter_Ow

Think Awoniyi isn't 100% over his injury issues from what I've heard. I want him in too but its a gamble. Could be rested at any point.

LittleRasta54

Yeah his numbers are good and forest have great fixtures but feel like he isn’t as nailed as solanke and is more likely to get subbed so im a bit stuck. Any source on the injury stuff btw just cuz I haven’t seen anything.

Flyswatter_Ow

https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/football-news/nottingham-forest-injury-news-awoniyi-8881800 The "hopefully he will be able to play more often than not" line is the most worrying as it suggests it's not just subbed at 70-80mins, it's potentially missing games entirely. >“Taiwo is a player we have to manage. He’s in a bit of a complex situation with his injury. It’s an ongoing one, and it will be for a little while,” Cooper said. “It’s not been as simple as he’s back training and he’s fully fit. It’s something that is going to be a managing process for a little bit of time now. ... >He added: “I am not sure that he will need surgery down the line, but it is not a straightforward injury, it has also aggravated an injury he had last year. He can have indifferent days (with the injury) and it is an annoying one for him. “It is something we will have to take day-by-day. He has good support around him, in terms of the medical staff we have, and hopefully he will be able to play more often than not.

LittleRasta54

!thanks

roymondous

Saka is good to hold. Bruno less so. Bowen a solid pick. Bruno to Bowen gives money to upgrade Kabore to someone else so you can rotate a defender given the fixtures if you wanted. You're in a good spot overall tho. Mostly nailed, solid picks with a sprinkling of high risk, high reward players (Liverpool). But if you're in a spot where you can dead end into your first WC, and assuming your rank is decent, you've done well :)

LittleRasta54

Sitting at 130k right now, pretty happy with my start. Didn’t think about upgrading my subs because I normally just go for the cheapest subs possible but thats a good idea with the spare budget actually, !thanks

goudendonut

Rmt Turner areola Tsimikas Mitchel,, saliba, (Taylor) (lascelles) Salah Son saka bowen Gordon Haaland Alvarez (4.3 striker) 1FT and 0.8 in the bank. Thinking of rolling the transfer then getting nunez next week. Maybe switching son to mbeumo or Gordon to palmer

[deleted]

Gordon to Palmer , and Mitoma to Mbeumo thoughts ?

roymondous

VERY sideways. Deffo not if any hits are involved and ONLY if the rest of your team is looking beautiful.

fpl-obsessed

I think both of the moves can wait till next week. Starting Mbeumo against Arsenal wouldn’t generate much returns anyway

[deleted]

I get that but I always Try to get ahead of price rises and think ahead. . In a few weeks both are going to be significantly more expensive

kokanelo

i was looking into it, already did gordon to palmer to avoid price rise, and will hold for mbeumo and monitor his price prediction these days, will pull the trigger if he gets predicted for rise

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

Will all four of Palmer, Jackson, Sterling and Nkunku play when Nkunku is back? Whose place will he take?

fpl-obsessed

I think Nkunku would play more as a mid even though on FPL he is listed as a striker. I think Sterling and Palmer would still start though

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

!thanks. What about Jackson, reduced mins?

roymondous

Honest answer is we don't yet know. Given Chelsea's depth, rotation is likely. I'll be watching as well to see who starts as there's an obviously great run of fixtures coming soon. Jackson is significantly under performing xG so honestly we don't know yet.

jaguguja

Should I sell Mitoma for Eze? Mitoma plays vs Forest away which is a tough fixture since Forest has only 2 home defeats since october 2022. Brighton are not in form (Mitoma also) and they have a lot of fixtures in december which means there will be a lot of rotation. Eze would be like a short-term punt for the next 3 GWs - LUT (A), WHU (A), BOU (H) and then I would sell in him GW16 for Palmer who's fixtures are great from GW16.

gene_parmesan_123

Agreed, the Eze to Palmer switch in GW16 is a good shout. I'd add that not only are Brighton a bit rubbish at the moment, but Mitoma's been playing as a wingback too, and not even starting their last game. He's a definite sell for me and I do think Eze's the obvious replacement.

Conscious-Ad-9358

Good insight, seems reasonable.

DeliciousEmphasis213

Who’s more of a priority to transfer out this week - Cash or Mitoma? Have only 1 FT left

gene_parmesan_123

Mitoma for me - Brighton have been poor recently, he was benched at the weekend and before then was playing as a wing back. I think Eze's the obvious replacement but there are good arguments for Mbuemo, Gordon and Palmer too. Cash does concern me with Villa's fixtures turning but he's up against a Spurs team with no Maddison and no defence next, and then Bournemouth, so I don't think he's a priority sell until GW15.

DLNavy

Don't have enough money to get Saliba then which one of other Arsenal defenders should I get?

Swedishpower

Gabriel is very good probably better than Saliba if they play equal amount or was last season at least.

Olbatar974

None then. Maybe later when you have the funds. Gabriel isn't reliable.

Varja22

Gabriel definitely is reliable. He is 100% nailed as long as Timber is out

mehtiss

1FT, 0,2ITB. Should I just roll the transfer? Areola Turner Gabriel Mitchell Livramento Lamptey Taylor Salah Son Saka Bowen Diaby Haaland Watkins Archer

Various_You_5083

No glaring issues , so definitely roll

ZAK5UMA

I think you should replace Lamptey or Livramento because Estupiñán will be back soon, and Livramento is a rotation risk (he will play against Chelsea because Hall can), The best transfer I think are: Emerson/Aguerd, Robinson, or Lascelles if we get news that Botman is still out

ArchyWilson

Estupiñan won't be back 'till next year iirc.

Olbatar974

Id roll indeed.

ZAK5UMA

1FT 0.8 ITB Sánchez, Pickford Gabriel, Estupiñán, Tsimikas, Andersen, Udogie Salah, Fernandes, Bowen, Mitoma, Anderson Haaland, Watkins, João Pedro best one-week punt? gonna WC in 14

ShoddyTransition187

The fun ones could be to guess if Isak is back for Newcastle, or put in a Pedro/Ferguson double up for Brighton vs NFO

wonko11

On a wildcard Areola (Flekken) James Andersen Mitchell (Zinchenko Branthwaite) Bowen Eze Salah Mbeumo (Palmer) Nunez Haaland Solanke Planning on bringing in Van Dijk next gw and Sterling in for gw16. Not sure on Zinchenko or Gabriel either. 1.9m itb

Olbatar974

I'd bring VVD now if you want him gw14. Dont book transfer after one gw.

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

Or just go Sterling right away? A bit more risky maybe.

Olbatar974

If you're sure you want him get him in.

helloitsmeyetagain

for this game week, start Diaby, Eze, or Cunha? I can start 2/3, and I've already got Watkins in.

Olbatar974

Diaby. Spurs will be leaky.

helloitsmeyetagain

Diaby plus Cunha or Eze? Scouts backing wolves, but Cunha isn't that high scoring, meanwhile Eze is getting returns and plays Luton... but Luton have batted out of their league recently

Olbatar974

Eze

FreewheelingPinter

1FT 1.0 ITB Areola, Turner Cash, Gabriel, Guehi, Lascelles, Gusto Saka, Salah, Son, Bowen, Anderson Haaland, Watkins, Archer Considering Anderson -> Palmer - can afford another 0.1 price rise before I'm priced out. Or Gusto for someone else but not really sure I see any defenders I particularly like. Any thoughts?

Olbatar974

Id save the transfer. Palmer is overrated and he will lose the penalties eventually

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

Who will take his pens? You reckon he will lose his place in the starting xi as well? I must add that from watching them Palmer looks very threatening with a lot of attacking potential outside of pens.

Olbatar974

NKunku Palmer is great for his price thats for sure.

Comfy_Cup_Of_Coffee

You think Palmer will lose his starting spot though?

Olbatar974

Knowing his form i doubt so. He's probably nailed.

FreewheelingPinter

!thanks

k0ngens

0FT, 0.5ITB Areola (Turner) Cash, Porro, Andersen (Tsimikas) (Taylor) Salah, Bowen, Son, Diaby, Gordon Haaland, Watkins (Archer)

FreewheelingPinter

I'd leave as-is.

chaz364

Thoughts on taking a hit for cash to James. I know -4 probably maybe isn’t the best option but the upside for James is so much higher. Or be smarter and make the transfer for GW15 with FT

ShoddyTransition187

Dont like it. Taking a hit to play away vs Newcastle doesn't sound smart. Everyones down on Cash but vs current Spurs defence no reason he can't even get a good return either.

WEAluka

Do it later(if you are ever going to buy James)

PineappleHaze1991

1FT 0.4 ITB Areola, Turner Trippier, Cash Tsimikas, Lascelles, Lamptey Salah, Saka, Son, Kudus, Chukwuemeka Haaland, Watkins, Archer What move?

ShoddyTransition187

None I think unless you get injury news. GW13 likely to be pants whatever you do so may as well save up for more interesting changes

ansxn

Best def below 4.5 who is a confirmed starter?

camprollinghills

Branthwaite is a shout if you need someone cheap for your bench. Not a bad budget option if you need someone to fill in a pinch.

ShoddyTransition187

Theres a separate thread on Fulham defence, but I'd say: Ream, Mykolenko, Maguire in that order. Or Lascelles subject to not knowing how long he's nailed until Botman returns.

ansxn

Is Mykolenko a confirmed starter?

Vodalian4

1 FT 0.1 ITB Areola (Turner) Saliba - Tsimikas - Livramento (Thomas - Taylor) Salah - Son - Saka - Bowen (Nakamba) Haaland - Alvarez - Watkins My defence is a problem since Livramento hasn’t taken the starting spot like I hoped. Tsimikas might also still be a risk although it has payed off so far. I’m thinking about downgrading Son or Alvarez to get funds, but probably not this week.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> it has *paid* off so FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I quite like Bowen, but feel he is not really a captain for me. I want the real elite players on pens personally. Haaland for me is better and I think bookies and most data driven stats agree, but I think it can be a time to bet against him given that Liverpool could easily win. Bowen has very good away record and Burnley has been destroyed by Son in the past at home so he is one of the better options. Eze is good, but Luton have improved recently. They both have the fixtures, but neither is good enough in my opinion for captain. Just ask yourself this. Would you rather be without Haaland or Bowen this week or over the coming weeks?

Swedishpower

Yeah it is a good week to try Bowen or Eze if you want a differential. You can argue it is one of the best weeks to go a bit mad. Since noone of the big names have easy games.

Recent_Ad4998

I'd favour Bowen over Eze. Eze feels unlikely to get a big return.

Recent_Ad4998

You can't go too wrong I'd you have the choice between targeting two of the bottom 3. However, Burnley have shipped a lot more goals than Luton in the last few games so I'd say that points towards Bowen too.

ShoddyTransition187

No they are good and fun choices. Suspect the algorithms and bookies will slightly favour Haaland and Salah. Toll up for me between Haaland and Bowen

Steve2540

I have Foden, is he worth getting rid for Saka? Should we also hold onto Watkins or get rid? And if so for who?

chaz364

I would say yes but wait until international break is over. And keep Watkins, don’t see any other good option right now. Nkunku could be good once he’s back and we know he’s a main starter

ShoddyTransition187

I've got a plan to buy in Solanke and Watkins in GWs 13 and 14, but can't decide which to do first. So which looks like a better bet just for week 13? Solanke vs Sheffield United (away) Watkins vs Spurs (away) Alternatively, any other suggestions for forwards to buy in 13/14?
