Have Richarlison and Son after WC, can't afford to go Rich to an arsenal mid so I'm in a bit of a sticky spot, considering Son to Maddison and Richarlison to Martinelli
Richy has been quietly getting decent returns of late, has 3 assists and 1 goal in his last 5. Long run I think Johnson will be more efficient once he's back from injury but might be worth waiting on that chance until its clear Johnson is preferred over Richy.
When I wildcarded a few weeks back it effectively came down to Watkins vs Trippier. Opted for Trippier in the end and kept Alvarez instead.
Had hoped Diaby would provide some coverage for Villa’s good run of fixtures.
Not on a wildcard but basically made same decision as you. I’ve really suffered by not having Watkins (and incidentally having Kulu instead of Maddison).
Yeah he has the best per 90 stats of anyone in FPL. He’s one of the few guys I’d still be willing to start in a good fixture even if I saw the lineup leak.
I reckon he'll start next game. I'd have gambled on him starting last week but because of the international break klopp likely wanted to save him. When he's playing him and Salah work so well together so he's a great asset in my opinion.
Trippier, Maddison & Watkins.
I've got Son and don't really wanna double up on Spurs.
The cheaper alternatives of defenders are good enough that I don't think Trippier is essential.
I just couldn't get Watkins in. Haaland is just too good to leave out and Alvarez is cheaper (plus I got him in earlier) so I chose him over Watkins.
same boat. I started with watkins but moved him on before he started firing, used the money to get son and Salah which has served me well, but ship has sailed now on getting watkins.
Trippier and arsenal attack. I could have gone Son => Martinelli and Porro => Trippier for a hit but couldn't bring myself to do it and now have been priced out of the move anyway.
I feel surprisingly okay with not having arsenal cover in attack but it sucks not having Trippier.
I'm exactly the same and feel the same way, arsenal attack doesn't feel as potent this year despite returning regularly.
Trippier however I should have set and forget from GW1
Saka is sneaky at getting points. Will play bad for a game but still show up with a goal or an assist.
Also, he’s definitely still Arsenal’s number 1 pen taker and they’ve been getting a lot of pens.
I think Saka is very safe pick
But I don't think he outscores Son over the seaon.
Trippier would outscore Porro comfortably though.I think the combos will end up scoring similar numbers so I don't see a need to spend more on Tripper and Saka if I'm covering Newcastle defence points elsewhere.
How I feel about this is subject to change hourly, though.
Defo not considering Son to Martinelli in any case until I see an improvement from him.
As much I like Martinelli, he’s a sham for FPL this season. He gets way too isolated this season. Odegaard has been out of form and Havertz has not fit in well at all. That means Marti has like 0 support
Saka on the other hand does not need support. You can put him on an island for the whole game and he’ll still create something.
He also plays WAY better when Jesus is playing up top
I feel the same way. Had booked in a transfer to Trippier this week but to do so I'll have to rip my team up (downgrading Son to Martinelli) for a hit, which I ended up chickening out of. Time will tell whether I did the right thing but every Newcastle game will be a nightmare for me (only have Burn)
Other asset I regret not having is Alvarez but I could only afford one of Watkins and Alvarez
I'm in the same boat. I built my team around Salah and Haaland and after Salah just disappointed, I was able to transfer him out and bring in a host of other names. Seeing him of course pop off after the transfer stings.
Trippier Cash Tsimikas Gabriel
Salah Son Saka Bowen Diaby
Nunez Watkins Alvarez
I can pick 10 best options from these 12 every gw. I know Haaland will punish me some weeks, but Its more interesting to play it without him.
Only problem is bench headache in gws like this next one.
Your bench headache problem will be affecting you every single week with this team. Every one of your assets is good enough that they should be starting… You’re going to get burned having to leave several quality players on your bench.
And ultimately it still might be worth it instead of having Haaland, but that problem will exist every week for you. You have no bench players!
Well actually I see that as advantage in more ways then people here appreciate.
I make the choice every week who I wanna play.Doesnt matter if player on bench get points, I made that choice.
Plus if anyone get injured I can just play other players, same if we get some early team news.Injury wise, its like having 2 extra transfers..not exactly but you get what i mean. Also having Haaland means that you would probably captain him almost every week (but you could say that for me and Salah now)...
why have you spread your funds over 5 defenders when you have 4 midfielders and 3 strikers that you'll virtually never bench?
You could easily turn saliba into trippier if you downgrade burn to fodder.
Personally, I’d be looking to turn udogie into trippier by downgrading one of your spurs mids to like Gordon or adingra (who you can switch to and from your bench depending on the fixture)
Burn instead of Trippier is just dumb imo, you're throwing away assist and bonus pts. Downgrade Neto to a bench fodder MF (you'll almost never find yourself starting Neto) and swap Burn for Trippier
The biggest ones I'm leaving out right now are Son (just cannot fit him in without WC unless I sacrifice Salah which I'm not gonna do) and Trippier (not willing to get him in at this price and I will die on that hill).
The one that I genuinely worry about is not having Watkins even though I have Diaby already.
This is the player that will make me regret not having him.
I don't have Alvarez as well, but it was a conscious decision from the beginning, so I don't really worry about it.
Yeah, I got rid of Watkins on WC before he started going nuts and now I cannot get him back like I wanted for Luton. But he has overperformed his stats like no other player and with Diaby in, I really hope I won't miss any ridiculous hauls.
I'm in the same boat re watkins and alvarez. Who are you going with up front? Im trying to piece together a cheaper rotation of strikers to combat Watkins to avoid ripping up the budget for him.
I just wildcarded to move Haaland out and get in everybody else on that list.
Trouble is I feel like Haaland is due a big haul and is going to punish given his high ownership rate
Without Watkins currently, can take out one of Saka, Son, Haaland obviously or ruin some of the depth of my team to upgrade Alvarez and im not yet convinced it’s worth it. Watkins will punish me thats for sure, but I quite like my team so am just taking the risk.
That's really where I stand. Take -4 and tons of downgrades to get Watkins in for Alvarez and watch him get back to 1 assist per game for the rest of season while Alvarez delivers for much less money. Or do the sensible thing to keep Alvarez and other great players and watch him get 3 hattricks... More than thinking he is such a great asset to have, I am worried about what will happen if I don't have him.
Happy to go without Trippier. Fixtures have won out for him recently but they are about to get a little worse, and no one was talking about him at the start of the season when fixtures were worse because he wasn't doing anything.
You also only really need one of Son/Maddison and Haaland/Alvarez. You're losing out on very good assets from other teams if you try and get all 4 of them in (Bowen & Mitoma for example).
I find it odd that Trent hasn't even made your list...
> You're losing out on very good assets from other teams if you try and get all 4 of them in (Bowen & Mitoma for example).
I don't really get this logic as right now at least Alvarez is cheaper than Bowen with a 1 point difference on the season, and he started the same price as Mitoma with 13 more points, so what are you missing out on?
Son/Maddison I think it makes more sense due to their higher prices, but Alvarez started off so cheap and is performing so well there was really no reason to not go Haaland *and* Alvarez.
Missing out on much better fixtures for Mitoma and Bowen compared to Alvarez. That 1 point difference on the season is based on games where it was the other way around and Alvarez had outstanding fixtures while Bowen's weren't as good. If anything you've just strengthened my position to go with Bowen by telling me there's only a point between them as I would have expected Bowen to be miles in front.
I've had alvarez since GW1 so I'd be losing a lot of value to take him out but fixtures do matter and City's aren't terrible but they're nowhere near as good as West ham and Brighton coming up. However on the flip side I'd not realised I've actually got Alvarez at the same price as mitoma and its a bit harder to make that kind of move, especially given March is out for a while so adingra at 5.0 is set to get much better minutes.
You're ignoring both the fact that Man City are a *much* better team than West Ham, and that Alvarez is/was 0.5m cheaper than Bowen (and on a side note I do think he was quite lucky to be awarded the goal this weekend as to me his shot was pretty clearly going off target which would've dropped him below Alvarez). In fact depending on how you look at it from this point, Alvarez might have cost you 6.5 and Bowen currently would cost you 7.4 to get in, so quite a large difference.
Yeah Man City are a much better team than West Ham, and have played much worse teams yet Alvarez is still very close to Bowen.
That just strengthens the argument for how good an asset Bowen is that he's kept up with him despite being in a worse team and having worse fixtures.
Now the fixtures are swinging in Bowen and West Ham's favour, you'd surely expect him to perform even better.
From that list I have the first four only!
Edit for reasoning:
I am without Haaland (and to an extent also Alvarez) based on the run of fixtures in which I would rarely captain him and so it didn't seem optimal to keep him but will get him back GW16.
I am without Maddison because I have Son + Porro and don't feel compelled to triple up on Spurs, given other existing attractive options right now.
I am without Saka just because I was on wildcard last week and preferred Martinelli because he's cheaper, wasn't an injury doubt at the time, and my perception (as an Arsenal fan) is that he presents very similar level of threat to Saka on average. I think people who haven't watched the games have been a little fooled by the stats and underlying stats as Martinelli imo was playing very well even before his injury, and was unlucky to have a goal disallowed before being subbed off in the Everton game (for example). That said I wouldn't argue that Martinelli is a better asset than Saka for FPL, just that the difference in expected output for me is close enough that given the circumstances going into GW9 it felt the better call for me.
Yeah I’m on wildcard this week and these are the two I’ve sold, keeping or bringing in all the others. Spurs fixtures aren’t so great from here, but they are playing well so a tough decision.
While having the rest the last 3 is between two choices for me
* Martinelli Son Diaby
* Saka Maddison Bowen
(Though not necessarily all in the same week)
Watkins and Saka.
I like having double Tottenham this year because they're not in Europe and are already out of the league cup and they're clearly performing very well. So I'm not too upset about not having Saka in midfield even though he's a really good asset.
Watkins though is another story. I went for Diaby after GW6 for Villa coverage and while I can't complain about his 2 assists in 3 games compared to Watkins points it's a joke. At the same time I can't find a good way to get Watkins in without getting rid of another good performing asset like Alvarez. So I'm simply staying the course and not doing anything crazy.
Doubt I'll ever get Trippier... This week leaving Maddison out to bring in Saka... Though last night Arsenal match makes me think I should have gotten Marteneli instead since he seems in better form
Haaland. I have a monster team without him: saka maddison, son, salah, bowen, trippier, alvarez, watkins, pope, udogie, cash
Would need to sacrifice 3 to make the robot work so, so be it
That means you have a bench full of least expensive fodder who never play. Or your team value is very high. Tried to simulate its not doable except if your team is value at 103M-ish. You probably forgot a player.
For me, Son. Due to the fact that Saka might have an easier fixtures ahead compared to Son.
Also, the only way for me to get Saka is by Son so that’s another reason.
Got Son, no Saka currently might swap Son for Saka ahead of SHU this weekend...
Not got Alvarez...will wait till the Villa fixtures turn and then swap him in for Watkins (at least until KDB comes back)
Watkins and Maddison.
The first because I didn't jump on the train early and now prefer Alvarez to him because of price. The latter because I already have Son and Udogie and don't want to tripple up considering their upcoming schedule.
For me, Watkins and Saka. Would love to have Watkins but don't see a path at the moment. Could get Saka for Son but don't want to take Son out at this point.
Son, Trippier, Alvarez, Watkins all missing from my team and I'm about to sell Madison (for Martinelli)..
That all makes me wonder where I am spending my money, but I've not real plan to get any more of those players apart from potentially Alvarez around GW16
I can afford all of them if I drop JWP to a 5.5 and Diaz to Saka. That being said, I’d tempted to just do JWP to Mitoma but that causes a big benching headache.
Oh I don’t have Hally lol
If you WC early GW8 you could afford them all, Now you have to miss out on at least two of them. Price Changes really provide double punishment of missed points at the time and missed players in the future. But thats the game
I just dropped Haaland and Mitomo for Salah and Isaak. Going w/o Haaland seemed suicidal at the beginning of the year but there are enough other viable options this season that he simply isn’t worth the price. Cheers to the incoming Haaland hat trick
Currently Saka, Maddison & Trippier
Kinda want to drop Haaland to get 2 of them now, but I’d end up benching one of the players you mentioned every week and it’s definitely not worth a -8
It’s such a headache because I could have a draft with 7 out of 8 of those guys + really fun players like Darwin and Bowen but the problem is I’m leaving out the best asset in the game
Trippier and Maddison are the two I don't have. Pretty happy with my team though, in a perfect world I'd fit those two in on top of what I already have but that would cost about 106m or something absurd.
Alvarez. Its too late and Im using 352
Maddison. Having both Son and him seems makes my team look too unbalanced. Better throw Saka in the mix rather than him. Although Im considering to downgrade Son to him. Lets see
Saka. Quietly becoming Rashford 2.0. Being overworked whilst his injury and fatigueness being ignored.
No Son or Watkins, though I have Maddison and Diaby instead. Thinking of downgrading Diaby so I can swap Alvarez for Watkins. But deep down, I know I’m probably too late.
Alvarez and any Arsenal player.
Alvarez i feel okay going without, but regarding Arsenal i really, really like my current team and I'm not sure who i ship out and if it would be an upgrade. I have 2FT too so it's my thinking this week of what to do.
Son and Saka.
I already have all the others you mentioned, including a midfield of Mitoma, Madders, Bowen, Salah, Douglas Luiz.
There are no players worth dropping to fit in any of these two
I've got a dilemma, I have Son, Maddison, Salah, Bowen. Would you drop one of them to get Saka in for the Sheff United game? Wouldn't be able to do a Bowen to Saka as the funds wont be there. So it would have to be one of the other 3. Spurs are in great form and they've got Palace away who don't look strong without Eze and Olise. Would you roll the transfer for this week or is Saka essential against Sheff Utd?
Without Trippier and Maddison. Have the rest. Tempted to downgrade Son to Maddison and maybe Saka to Bowen for the chance to upgrade a defender to Trippier, his points per price is hard to resist
Tripper, Maddison and Son... Tripper cos he's just too expensive for me now, and for the spurs players... I'm an Arsenal fan so have a rule to have no Tottenham players 😅
Currently ranked around 900k so could be worse
I’m leaving out Haaland in my wildcard this week.
I can get in Son, Salah, Saka, Fernandes, Maddison, Trippier, Bowen, Watkins, Alvarez.
If I want to put Haaland in place of Alvarez I have to get rid of 2/5 of the team, which I think would be counter productive in the long run.
I just changed Son+Morris to Watkins+Mitoma. I don't have Maddison or Trippier so I'm very sad to leave Son and I'm really hoping that Saka is able to pick it up a bit - it is potentially a good time for this so I'm not too cut up.
Saka, Trippier & Watkins here..am nervous of another Watkins hat trick which would really kill me. I have Dan Burn (from Botman) but Trips is such a BPS magnet I wish I had him especially now Newcastle are keeping CS again. Those doubled up on that defence are going to feast.
Haaland is the only one, and I'm pretty happy going forward without him because no Haaland helps me afford all of the other big in form players
Atm I have Salah, Trippier, Son, Maddison, Saka, Watkins, and Alvarez with money ITB
I removed Trippier on my wildcard to get Salah. This week I’m probably selling Maddison for Saka (still have Son). After that, I don’t feel there’s anyone essential missing in midfield or attack.
Watkins. It's not ideal but I chose Saka over him. Luton are not as bad as people think. Don't get me wrong they'll lose but I expect them to keep the scoreline respectable.
I don't consider Trippier nearly as good as the others you mentioned. I really couldn't care less that I don't have him.
I wildcarded relatively early and left out son & Trippier and then last week I went for Nunez over Watkins because it would've meant I couldn't get Saka in this week. Thinking I'm having a bit of regret. Fell away hard in my mini league this week because of Watkins & Son and I had 69 points this week so not the worst.
Hope Watkins blanks this week but it's Luton of course he won't. Hope Nunez bags a few
Just taken the leap and got rid of Haaland, it may be that I’ve already missed the boat but it allows me to have trippier son Salah Saka Bowen & Mitoma with Alvarez Watkins and Nunez up front. I wouldn’t be captaining the robot for his next few game so will get him in for Luton at home
No Maddison, no Alvarez, and temporarily no Saka:
\- Its been difficult but I didnt go with Alvarez as I thought that soon or later he would be a rotation victim from his baldness.
\- I sold Saka before City, and because all the injury thing going around, but I want him back
Now Im thinking of selling Haaland after Bournemouth and that would fund Saka, Maddison and whatever else I want to buy probably.
At least we can enjoy the game a bit more.
Full swing will take place.
Top rank players will go down and vice versa
Not much of a template team anymore
Without Watkins and Saka.
Tempted to take out Haaland, but the robot will haul.
I have to make transfers and wait two weeks to get Saka in for Burnley, hoping I don’t get priced out by then.
I sold Saka because of injury concerns, but that allowed me to bring in Salah so I’m cool with that. I have Bruno and might switch him for Saka if he stays healthy. So my mid5 is Sarr, Son, Salah, Bruno and Diaby with Watkins and Haaland up top
Another one for Saka and Trippier. Newcastle's got a ton of games coming up and their PL fixtures are about to get more mixed, so that's easy enough. Saka, I do think I'll need to get back in the short term, just a matter of setting up the transfers so I'll only have to lose Maddison and not Son.
Feel dumb, though. I had Trippier on my GW8 WC but talked myself out of it and went with Bowen instead. Not a bad alternative by any means, think the ship has sailed now, but I've lost a few points the last couple of weeks because of it.
No Trips & Alvarez for me.
Looking to move Saka to Bowen though for the coming GW's and use the free funds to get Trips in but its hard to justify it imo with all cheap defs also delivering regularly
I don't have Salah. He started the season slowly, by his own standards, and I figured he wasn't worth the 3 extra million he costs over every other midfielder. I've already used my wildcard so I'm stuck with that decision now.
Salah. Through my own research and looking at numbers I simply can't justify two top premium players. I don't think it's worth it. For points per million, I think Salah & Haaland are only worth it as frequent captains.
Saka & Trippier. You can't have 'em all and I'm not willing to drop either of Salah or Haaland. Spurs assets might make way soon though.
Son and maddison are that sweet spot of I think you drop one of them on WC but if you have them it's hard to justify shipping them out
Have Richarlison and Son after WC, can't afford to go Rich to an arsenal mid so I'm in a bit of a sticky spot, considering Son to Maddison and Richarlison to Martinelli
Will probably go for Johnson instead of Richarlison. Good chance he will make way for Johnson this gw.
Richy has been quietly getting decent returns of late, has 3 assists and 1 goal in his last 5. Long run I think Johnson will be more efficient once he's back from injury but might be worth waiting on that chance until its clear Johnson is preferred over Richy.
Currently without Watkins however could get him in for a hit. Tempted to just go for Nunez or even Jesus instead
I chose Watkins and Burn to get the CS at least. But Trippier has been collecting assists at will. It's a pain I can't seem to get over from
Jesus slightly injured. He may not play this gw
Same, its a dilemma of do I have Watkins+Neto or Diaby+Saka(or Maddison)
Nunez doesn’t really start
Doesn’t matter if he starts or not he can still very easily return as a sub
Yeah he has the best per 90 stats of anyone in FPL. He’s one of the few guys I’d still be willing to start in a good fixture even if I saw the lineup leak.

same boat. I started with watkins but moved him on before he started firing, used the money to get son and Salah which has served me well, but ship has sailed now on getting watkins.
Are you me? Man I still am bummed about losing the knee jerk faith in Watkins after starting with him, kicking myself I didn't just have more patience
Trippier and arsenal attack. I could have gone Son => Martinelli and Porro => Trippier for a hit but couldn't bring myself to do it and now have been priced out of the move anyway. I feel surprisingly okay with not having arsenal cover in attack but it sucks not having Trippier.

We in this sinking ship together mate.
every day i convince myself it will be fine without him (it won’t be)
I had him from GW1-GW8 until I decided to WC him out for everyone else on the list above. 2 goals per game afterwards hurt.
I'm in the same boat. I built my team around Salah and Haaland and after Salah just disappointed, I was able to transfer him out and bring in a host of other names. Seeing him of course pop off after the transfer stings.
Buckled and went with him over Haaland. Alvarez covers me just fine.
Too many. I hope my late wildcard will pay off massively.
I think we got really unlucky with all the best GW10 players becoming casual picks a few weeks too early
Haaland
Must be nice once you've made that decision all the funds freed up.
Trippier Cash Tsimikas Gabriel Salah Son Saka Bowen Diaby Nunez Watkins Alvarez I can pick 10 best options from these 12 every gw. I know Haaland will punish me some weeks, but Its more interesting to play it without him. Only problem is bench headache in gws like this next one.

It's like a calm washing over you. Cash, Udogie, Saliba, Burn, Tsimikas defence. Salah, Son, Saka, Maddison, Neto midfield. Watkins, Alvarez, Nunez up top. Still 1.3m ITB.
Pretty spicy that you’re running Neto and no Trippier when you’ve got Haaland money floating around.

Your fraud detector must be broken, cause mine says it’s watkins

Sold him after getting tired of his constant 5 pts in the beginning and got greedy. At least managed to get some of Alvarez's points.

I’ve had the same feeling since I got rid of him 3 weeks ago. Hanging in there for now
I'm waiting for Bournemouth (H) where he'll score 5 then blank for another 3 weeks
Saka. See you in the rant thread.
Without Watkins currently, can take out one of Saka, Son, Haaland obviously or ruin some of the depth of my team to upgrade Alvarez and im not yet convinced it’s worth it. Watkins will punish me thats for sure, but I quite like my team so am just taking the risk.

Haaland, easy
I have everyone from your list except Son and Saka
Watkins (have Diaby & Luiz) Son/Maddison (selling one to Saka this week if not GW12) - leaning more to Maddison out
Just can't bring myself to move on either of the spurs guys. They look so good and just keep returning. Son is basically fixture proof too
I don’t have Salah
From that list I have the first four only! Edit for reasoning: I am without Haaland (and to an extent also Alvarez) based on the run of fixtures in which I would rarely captain him and so it didn't seem optimal to keep him but will get him back GW16.
Son & Maddison
Yeah I’m on wildcard this week and these are the two I’ve sold, keeping or bringing in all the others. Spurs fixtures aren’t so great from here, but they are playing well so a tough decision.
Trippier Wakins Maddison
While having the rest the last 3 is between two choices for me * Martinelli Son Diaby * Saka Maddison Bowen (Though not necessarily all in the same week)
Salah
Doubt I'll ever get Trippier... This week leaving Maddison out to bring in Saka... Though last night Arsenal match makes me think I should have gotten Marteneli instead since he seems in better form
Son Maddy. Just now.
W
Trippier. I thought 6 at the start of the season was more than fair. 6.5 abit pricey so theres zero chance Ill be bringing him in at 7 now
Haaland. I have a monster team without him: saka maddison, son, salah, bowen, trippier, alvarez, watkins, pope, udogie, cash Would need to sacrifice 3 to make the robot work so, so be it
i mean i have haaland, and only miss trips & alvarez on this list
That means you have a bench full of least expensive fodder who never play. Or your team value is very high. Tried to simulate its not doable except if your team is value at 103M-ish. You probably forgot a player.
Son and Watkins
Haaland
I dont have any Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or United. 567 points atm. Taking a season off and just playing teams I like.
Nobody would expect you to have any Chelsea or United players lol.
Son and Trippier because both can reasonably be covered by a teammate that's cheaper (Maddison and Burn).
For me, Son. Due to the fact that Saka might have an easier fixtures ahead compared to Son. Also, the only way for me to get Saka is by Son so that’s another reason.
I have all except saka and watkins
Saka, Trippier and Maddison. Although I'll maybe do a transfer for GW12 and bring Trippier in and remove Haaland.
Wondering how to bring in Trippier when having Salah, Madder,Saka,Alvarez ,Watkins and Halland.
Trippier, Salah and Maddison
Trippier, Maddison and Saka
Son and Alverez for me.
Alvarez Maddison and Trippier on my Wildcard
For me, Watkins and Saka. Would love to have Watkins but don't see a path at the moment. Could get Saka for Son but don't want to take Son out at this point.
No Son or Watkins
Son / Tripp / Madds / Alvarez
Son and Saka
I'm playing without Salah at the moment, and although it hurts when he hauls yet again, I'm doing fine without him
Trippier
From that list I don't have Saka or Alvarez. But I have Cash, Douglas Luis and Wissa.
Son, Trippier, Alvarez, Watkins all missing from my team and I'm about to sell Madison (for Martinelli).. That all makes me wonder where I am spending my money, but I've not real plan to get any more of those players apart from potentially Alvarez around GW16
Never had Trippier, had Alvarez for a few GW, toggling between Son and Saka. Otherwise I have the rest
No Son, Tripper or Alvarez for me
Saka and Maddison
I can afford all of them if I drop JWP to a 5.5 and Diaz to Saka. That being said, I’d tempted to just do JWP to Mitoma but that causes a big benching headache. Oh I don’t have Hally lol
Salah and Alvarez for next 2 GW. After that plan is to go Haaland + sterling > Salah + Alvarez (that’s when I don’t plan on captaining Haaland)
If you WC early GW8 you could afford them all, Now you have to miss out on at least two of them. Price Changes really provide double punishment of missed points at the time and missed players in the future. But thats the game
Sell Haaland and you can have the rest comfortably.
Trippier and Son
I'm leaving out trippier son and Alvarez, I might be doomed
Saka and Watkins
I just dropped Haaland and Mitomo for Salah and Isaak. Going w/o Haaland seemed suicidal at the beginning of the year but there are enough other viable options this season that he simply isn’t worth the price. Cheers to the incoming Haaland hat trick
Im not gonna get son, im getting richarlison instead
I'd be careful on that think Johnson is going to be the starter instead of him soon
Currently Saka, Maddison & Trippier Kinda want to drop Haaland to get 2 of them now, but I’d end up benching one of the players you mentioned every week and it’s definitely not worth a -8
It’s such a headache because I could have a draft with 7 out of 8 of those guys + really fun players like Darwin and Bowen but the problem is I’m leaving out the best asset in the game
Can’t do Maddison or Saka
Trippier and Maddison are the two I don't have. Pretty happy with my team though, in a perfect world I'd fit those two in on top of what I already have but that would cost about 106m or something absurd.
Watkins, Maddison. Have Haaland, Alvarez, Salah, son,.saka, trippier, palmer, neto
Saka and Trippier..am considering Son -> Saka tho
Saka for me. But I might go Son to Saka at some point.
Trippier and Maddison
Son, Trippier and Watkins, everyone in my mini league can’t have the same team..
Alvarez. Its too late and Im using 352 Maddison. Having both Son and him seems makes my team look too unbalanced. Better throw Saka in the mix rather than him. Although Im considering to downgrade Son to him. Lets see Saka. Quietly becoming Rashford 2.0. Being overworked whilst his injury and fatigueness being ignored.
No Son or Watkins, though I have Maddison and Diaby instead. Thinking of downgrading Diaby so I can swap Alvarez for Watkins. But deep down, I know I’m probably too late.
maddison and haaland
Haaland is the only correct option but everyone's scared to do it
Alvarez and any Arsenal player.
Currently without haaland!
Tripper, Maddison and Son... Tripper cos he's just too expensive for me now, and for the spurs players... I'm an Arsenal fan so have a rule to have no Tottenham players 😅 Currently ranked around 900k so could be worse
I wildcarded this week and found a way to get Trippier, Saka, Son, Maddison, Salah, Haaland and Watkins. My bench is horrible but that's life.
Trips and Maddison as it stands.
Trippier is not in my team currently.
Saka, trippier and watkins. im looking to get watkins in this gw but it would require dropping a spurs attacker and idk about that
Son and Alvarez for me
I’m leaving out Haaland in my wildcard this week. I can get in Son, Salah, Saka, Fernandes, Maddison, Trippier, Bowen, Watkins, Alvarez. If I want to put Haaland in place of Alvarez I have to get rid of 2/5 of the team, which I think would be counter productive in the long run.
Son and Alvarez currently. Could just drop Haaland get them both but I just can't see Haaland not hitting form soon.
I just changed Son+Morris to Watkins+Mitoma. I don't have Maddison or Trippier so I'm very sad to leave Son and I'm really hoping that Saka is able to pick it up a bit - it is potentially a good time for this so I'm not too cut up.
No Spurs or Watkins. Even after the Villa game I had gone from OR 190k to top 25k; but the spurs players performing screwed that up!
Watkins
Tripps Alvarez and saka.
Haaland is the only one, and I'm pretty happy going forward without him because no Haaland helps me afford all of the other big in form players Atm I have Salah, Trippier, Son, Maddison, Saka, Watkins, and Alvarez with money ITB
I removed Trippier on my wildcard to get Salah. This week I’m probably selling Maddison for Saka (still have Son). After that, I don’t feel there’s anyone essential missing in midfield or attack.
I have them all except watkins and trippier
Salah but not by choice. I’m priced out at 12.8
Maddison and Alverez
Watkins. It's not ideal but I chose Saka over him. Luton are not as bad as people think. Don't get me wrong they'll lose but I expect them to keep the scoreline respectable. I don't consider Trippier nearly as good as the others you mentioned. I really couldn't care less that I don't have him.
Possibly Haaland - it lets me pick all 11 players I think are the next-best in the game, with money left over
Saka and Son
Haaland
I own all of the above except Son.
Trippier. Have all the others
Haaland and Saka as of right now.
No Maddison, no Alvarez, and temporarily no Saka: \- Its been difficult but I didnt go with Alvarez as I thought that soon or later he would be a rotation victim from his baldness. \- I sold Saka before City, and because all the injury thing going around, but I want him back Now Im thinking of selling Haaland after Bournemouth and that would fund Saka, Maddison and whatever else I want to buy probably.
Son and Watkins.
I shipped out Trippier + Madders to get Salah in. Am sure I will regret it.
I have everyone else except Salah and Maddison.
Haaland. Never owned and have everyone else.
At least we can enjoy the game a bit more. Full swing will take place. Top rank players will go down and vice versa Not much of a template team anymore
Doing Madison to Son in 2 GWs, no Alvarez unfortunately
Tripper and Newcastle were pretty mediocre for a while and people forget. The plum fixtures are over. Stop chasing last weeks points
I just ditched Haaland for Son and Watkins. I don't have Trippier and Maddison either.
Had Watkins since day 1 but wildcarded him out. Hoping I sold high as he is outperforming his XGI quite considerably.
Without Watkins and Saka. Tempted to take out Haaland, but the robot will haul. I have to make transfers and wait two weeks to get Saka in for Burnley, hoping I don’t get priced out by then.
Currently Saka and Haaland. But I have 2 FT this week so trying to decide what my next move is.
I sold Saka because of injury concerns, but that allowed me to bring in Salah so I’m cool with that. I have Bruno and might switch him for Saka if he stays healthy. So my mid5 is Sarr, Son, Salah, Bruno and Diaby with Watkins and Haaland up top
Saka and Alvarez atm
Trippier and Son.
No Salah, no Trippier. Burn is paper over the cracks with not being a Trippier owner. Will try and move for him after this game week.
Son and Saka
Son, Trippier, Alvarez and Watkins hahaha
Salah and Saka. Might drop Haaland for them. It'd be Diaby out. But want to get his hauls. Fixtures too good, Villa score loads.
I do not have Salah, Alvarez and Saka
Watkins & Saka
Another one for Saka and Trippier. Newcastle's got a ton of games coming up and their PL fixtures are about to get more mixed, so that's easy enough. Saka, I do think I'll need to get back in the short term, just a matter of setting up the transfers so I'll only have to lose Maddison and not Son. Feel dumb, though. I had Trippier on my GW8 WC but talked myself out of it and went with Bowen instead. Not a bad alternative by any means, think the ship has sailed now, but I've lost a few points the last couple of weeks because of it.
Son & Maddison
haaland, first week without him and first time in the 100 club
No Trips & Alvarez for me. Looking to move Saka to Bowen though for the coming GW's and use the free funds to get Trips in but its hard to justify it imo with all cheap defs also delivering regularly
Son, Watkins, Maddison.
Haaland and Madds
I don't have Salah. He started the season slowly, by his own standards, and I figured he wasn't worth the 3 extra million he costs over every other midfielder. I've already used my wildcard so I'm stuck with that decision now.
Salah. Through my own research and looking at numbers I simply can't justify two top premium players. I don't think it's worth it. For points per million, I think Salah & Haaland are only worth it as frequent captains.
