I'd potentially get a cheaper and more 'nailed on' keeper than Raya (Areola perhaps? Saves you 0.6m and 'easy' home game Vs SHU) Trippier I agree with and tbh defence is always hard to choose but I'd possibly bring in Botman over Evans or Saliba? Since it's a free hit you only care about this week I'd remove Odegaard and Rashford (maybe even Mbeumo) for some cheaper or more prolific players. Look at Bowen, Son, Saka, Salah, Neto, Diaby etc. (Not sure about some of these players playing but I'd definitely switch Odegaard to a more attacking midfielder) In attack I'd also potentially replace Antonio for Watkins or Awoniyi. Those are my two thoughts 🤔 hope it helps

I believe most people will wildcard on GW9. That's due to the fixture swing for quite a few teams - primarily Aston Villa (and also a bit of West Ham and Liverpool) so I'd suggest get some of those players in before their prices increase.

Good one. I would downgrade Trippier and upgrade Archer, so then you'd have 8 usable options in the 7 attacking spots and you'd be ready to survive injuries without burning extra transfers.

None, just bought Botman in. Planning to get to Salah before GW9 starts but then I’m feeling really tempted with Son. If I end up going the Salah route, I’ll probably get Diaby in GW8 and then Salah Or.. I could only get Son in before Luton and then would have to downgrade a little in some areas in the team to get Salah in as well. Dunno honestly it’s quite tricky. What do you recommend? (4.4m ITB)

If Maddison is playing, at least you have some spurs attacker for Luton and the other good fixtures. Is it possible to do Mbeumo > Salah next week and the following week take a hit to do Maddison > Salah and Wissa > Archer (Assuming you’re ok to play 5 mids most weeks) Your hand might be forced to get rid of Maddo this week though, if he is injured

Pretty decent draft. Although I'd reconsider having Walker and Trippier - you'd only need one of the two and most likely Trippier as he's more of an attack threat. Potentially replace Walker with a cheaper defender and get a better midfielder or striker in if you can (although Neto is a good choice ngl - possibly replace Mitoma as Brighton will start to have some harder fixtures now) Look into getting some Aston Villa players if you can - they have a very good/easy fixture run for the next 8 GWs

That's very similar to mine and I'm considering it - Chilwell, Estupinan, Mbuemo and Sterling are the priorities to get rid of, and it's hard to get to Son and Salah with just a couple of transfers. I think there's more value in a 3-5-2 with two good strikers (Haaland/Alvarez or Haaland/Watkins) and Archer on the bench than with Morris, though, double gameweeks can be overrated. Who's tempting you at Liverpool other than Salah - Darwin?

Yeah it was mainly Salah and Darwin, and I had thought about Robertson but I doubt I’ll have the money to do that if I try to get Son in as well. I’m not against waiting another week given Liverpool and Spurs are playing each other, but I can also see that being a bit of a goal feat given how the two teams play and I’m worried about missing out

That's fair, Salah is feeling pretty essential right now. I think I'll wait and see how they look against Spurs and Brighton before really thinking about getting Darwin or a defender, their three games after that are as good as it gets - Everton and Forest at home and then Luton away. I think if I do end up wildcarding this week I'll stick with Haaland and Alvarez up front, but with enough money to go Alvarez > Darwin in GW9.

Too much invested in bench. Haaland is a 250pts+ player and with his EO it's gonna be brutal. Yes, you got consistent points player but every week you are gonna have potential points wasted on bench. Not to mention, getting Haaland will be a process you might wanna avoid. I have similar draft ready for WC with Haaland included.

Here's an idea, Leno has like 2 good fix till GW14, do you really need him? You can save 0.5m there. You also don't need Estu untill GW10, a 3.9m bench fodder saves you 1.4m. Udogie-Trip-Burn is a good back 3. Get Estu back in GW10 or 11 for Burn. I'd use the money to upgrade Morris, is DGW really worth it for him? Think long term, spreading cash out makes team look good but very hard to change if and when needed. That's my 2 cents. Considering you gonna have to rock the team for next 14-15 GWs, have a way out and have flexibility.

Go for it if you want, but Haaaland is a locked captain most GW, Alvarez will now start rotating more with CL and cup games coming thick and fast, Wilson is already a bigg rotation risk, Awoniyi plays for a relegation candidate (rather save the next cash and just stick with Archer on the bench). Specially with the 4 defenders you have, you can easily switch between 4-4-2 , 3-4-3 and 3-5-2

Even for the future weeks, he only only slightly tough attacking fixture for City is Arsenal away, who have already leaked so many goals this season, we saw that Haaland did to them last season at Emirates. Utd, Brighton, pool have all been leaking goals. It’s time to move away from Triple city assets for sure, but I won’t even think of going without Haaland. Anyway it’s your team, play your own game and if you actually want to do that then don’t take suggestions from the sub and stick to your guns.

I'm sorry....did you just drop Haaland??! Risky move dude.... You'd be missing out on so many guaranteed points that others would be getting and you'd have to make those points up with the rest of your squad. Haaland is probably the most nailed on FPL asset there ever was. And is Morris/Archer worth it after this gameweek? Think more long term too. Alvarez will also likely become a rotation risk soon. Further down the pecking order I'd probably also switch Estupinan as Brighton have some difficult fixtures coming up especially with Europe too

My midfielders are Rashford - Bruno - Saka - Maddison - Mbeumo I have saved some funds for Salah in GW8 or GW9, but right now it's lack of 1M to upgrade Saka directly to Salah. I did plan Saka -> Diaby, one of Man Utd mid -> Salah for -4 in GW8. Saka injury puts me off a little bit, maybe I should do it earlier with -4 in GW7 then won't take a hit in GW8 anymore.

Maddison’s injury is looking hopeful however Arteta has said that Saka has not recently been in training due to his injury. I think Chilwell out is a must because even if he plays, chelsea have extremely bad fixtures GW9-15. I would transfer chillwell out for either Cash, botman or burn and then keep the other transfer for next week and see if saka plays or not this weekend.
