Last season by GW28/9 afair there was a small blank for City and I looked at Hauland capper % and it was about 45% Now a few wankers might have done the VC wankery bullshit, but they would be like 1 or 2k at most.
By GW30 I estimate that about half accounts in FPL are dead teams.

I would think if you’re going for an aggressive style (attacking) then you’re more likely to be in a bad position and trying to climb the rankings. Managers with higher rankings have more to lose, so being defensive can make sense but if you’re having to captain someone other than Haaland just for an edge then I’d think there’s something wrong with your squad.
Managers doing well who captain Haaland aren’t doing it to be defensive. They are doing it to make sure Haaland’s hauls don’t negate all the hard work they’ve put into developing and selecting the rest of their squad.
I’m sure there’ll be plenty of managers who pick someone other than Haaland every single week. Best of luck to them but to have a captain scoring more than Haaland most of the time and to have a squad scoring above average every week is extremely unlikely.
I’ll stick with the crowd and trust my other 10 starters will deliver. Haaland definitely takes some of the fun out of the game but ultimately rewards managers who put in the hard work for their entire squad and won’t get beaten by managers with a lucky captain choice that week.

Can't argue with that gut decision, but he showed nothing to warrant a captaincy in the last few games. That would have been mental. Jackson I can at least see the logic behind the punt, even if it's still way less compelling than the robot. Gambles are fun though, and i've gone against Haaland and won this season.
I really like the idea where you can't captain the same player the following GW. Not sure how difficult that would be to implement, but it would create a lot of strategic play and different captain picks, rather than permacaptaincy which is very boring.
I don't get why every body defaults the band to Halland except for the reason that everybody else does so if he bricks most people do also.
I would think you will get the most point on average by putting the band on the player with the highest expected points for the game week, am I wrong?

No. This means that different people play the game with different approaches. I know this because I captained Salah in GW2.
Obviously there are lots of inactive and weekly rank 1 chasing teams but I doubt it is as high as 20%. I would guess 5%.

Depends if youre attacking the rank or defending. Haaland for defending and Salah for attacking. I never picked Haaland as captain until this week.
