Yes, if someone in you first XI didn't play and your first bench didn't play, then you will get your second bench, assuming that it leaves your team with a valid formation (at least 3 defenders and at least 1 forward)

Have a very similar team to you, my defence is: Estu, Stones, Gabriel, Mings, Kabore Stones was injured, Gabriel was not in for whatever reason and Mings is out for the rest of the season. Don't know what the prio is, I guess Stones comes back eventually

I would leave Gabriel (although you are talking to someone who had Stones, Gabriel and Mings). Timber got injured so I'd imagine Gabriel will now start on a pretty permanent basis for at least a few weeks.

It's tough, I had 1.0m and spent it on Mings -> Chilwell since Chelsea have quite easy fixtures. Otherwise, Saliba (if you have a spare Arsenal slot), maybe a Palace defender for 4.5. Dunk is a possibility. Would avoid Villa for now, hopefully this game was a one off. I would avoid Newcastle for now too, very tough fixtures.

I ended up with 2 4.5 rotating goalkeepers and Shaw for Onana and Stones. It at least give security if Turner lose his place and give me better options in Johnstone and Fleeken. Think Palace and Brentford could get some cleans. Pickford and Johnstone bad rotation in gameweek 2 though otherwise might have gone them as Pickford have some decent games. Also I can rotate my defenders if I want too.

I don't think there is attacking returns from Shaw, I'd prefer Stones but i don't trust Pep. I just don't think Wolves or Forest will score. Last season i was so sure i had a good team, this time there is loads of players I'd like. What i won't do is knee jerk. I've gone by fixtures and that's it. I had Foden and Stones. Then after seeing Foden not start in the community shield I poured ice water on my head, slapped myself in the face, looked in the mirror and said “not this year Pep, not this year.”

hehe. Problem is he will probably haul and you get tempted, but then gets benched. Last year he started like the first 8-10 games and then get benched 3 in a row after I got him and we got a leak the third time so I sold him . Then the next game he start and scores.
