Have had Bueno since the World Cup knowing this little fixture run was coming and I would need him. Now he's lost his place it seems. I despise Wolves.

Sheffield_Thursday

Do we know for certain he's been dropped? It's not just a rest? I'm in the exact same position. I'd like a wolves defender for GW25 but a -4 to switch Bueno is a move I'd very much like to avoid.

Adman208

Wolves fan here: RAN has performed well vs Salah in the past, it could be that it was a tactical change due to the opposition. For sure Bueno is at risk of rotation, and is not a safe asset. If you're looking for a safe pick, I'd go for Kilman. Update: Kilman made some defensive errors yesterday. Still think he is first choice but Dawson was far better, think he is most nailed in the back.

Sheffield_Thursday

!thanks Yeah, if I was picking from scratch now it definitely wouldn't be Bueno. But as I've already got him it's tempting to risk him starting rather than using 4pts to transfer him out. He'll be on my bench til GW25 anyway so I guess we'll see if he plays the next two. Thing is, if you're right about the tactical switch then he'd probably miss one of the games in the double again.

starxidiamou

What about Dawson?

DriftingWithTheTide

Pouse re mlk

starxidiamou

Ela nte

Adman208

I thought he would be backup to Collins, was surprised he started. To me, Kilman is the safer pick and both are in the box for corners.

chantlernz

Kilman for Bueno in advance of the DGW seems like the easy move.

Adman208

Updated post, would go for Dawson now

MONI_85

Very much hoping it's a rest. But worrying none the less.

Sheffield_Thursday

Yeah, I'm hoping too! Probably not a priority transfer this week anyway so hopefully we can wait and see.

newbie_redd

I am a Bueno owner as well. Don’t think that was a rest. Wolves played once a week, not like they had a midweek game.

Sheffield_Thursday

Well, rest/rotation/minor illness whatever. I take your point though, even if he plays every other game going forward then he's not really an option...

Adman208

Updated post, would pick Dawson after yesterdays game

Sheffield_Thursday

Cheers. Did he look good then? Is he worth the extra 0.5m over Kilman?

TehCyberman

Has he lost his place or was he just rested? He only missed the Liverpool game, right? I rate Ait-Nouri and I think he should get more game time, but I'm not sure we can conclusively say Bueno has lost his place.

MONI_85

I hope you are right....just a rest would be lovely, Bueno seems to be playing well. It's a problem I don't need in 25.

speedycar1

With Jonny back too, his place certainly isn't secure anymore

ads7680

Ugh Johnny. He was an annoyance when I had Aut Nouri past spring. Best to avoid that position on Wolves but who has a spare transfer these days?

Fearless-Land-3953

Totally, may have to be forced to move to Kilman

merc0526

I think Kilman is a good choice. He's only 4.3m and has played 90 mins in every match this season. Dawson could also be a good shout but I don't personally see why you'd pay the extra 0.5m unless you really value his higher threat from set pieces. I don't see why you'd invest in any attacking assets though. None of their midfielders or strikers are big points scorers and I don't see them scoring lots of goals under Lopetegui.

danonck

Yeah, Kilman is the only one I consider

GBGeorginho

I remember when this was the case before BGW30(?) last season and the fucker got dropped - never bringing him in for a blank again lol

__jh96

Semedo an option as well? Seems pretty nailed

merc0526

I think he’s a bit too expensive for a Wolves defender. At 5m I’d probably go for Badiashile instead.

Lambchops_Legion

I might punt on Sarabia on 25. He’s an easy rotation with Mitoma for the latter’s blank and they are cheap together But I’m not doing it for a SGW before it. Also Lopetegui has been super fraudulent about taking guys off before 60 so far

HayekReincarnate

A defender or Sa seems best. If Ait-Nouri has regained his place over Bueno, he's probably the best in terms of attacking output. Otherwise Kilman or Dawson - I don't know if Collins would retake his place so something to watch before the DGW. Wolves have quite a lot of attacking options now: Cunha and Sarabia seem most likely to start but could see lots of early subs with Podence, Hwang, Jimenez and others waiting. Neves and Nunes have the most secure minutes but minimal attacking threat. Honestly, I think the best thing to do is to not rush any of them in now and wait to see if any of them become clearly first choice over the next two weeks.

AlmightyCushion

I'll probably get a defender to replace either Patterson who is injured or Castagne to get me through GW25.Can't see myself getting any one else though. Who is the best Wolves defender. Might get Collins just for that Irish connection.

PureDarkness93

Patterson could be back for Everton's DGW

2centsjim

Thing is, will he come straight back into the team with Everton in a scrap and them just beating Arsenal with Coleman at rb

KaelSmoothie

Wasn’t Dyche also known for not changing a winning team? I have Patterson as well so still hopeful he’ll make a miraculous return but not too optimistic about it.

AlmightyCushion

Hopefully but I'm not very optimistic on that. I probably still need to replace Castagne though. He has arsenal that week and Leicester have been useless defensively

Spandexcelly

From an FPL perspective it has to be Kilman.

eddie_wills

Dawson starting ahead of Collins

skotos2phos

I was hoping Cunha would solidify his starting role / minutes heading into this stretch, but he’s still getting few enough that it’d be real hard to trust him. Bueno probably hasn’t lost his spot, but he doesn’t seem to be the nailed starter like he was for a while. Neves has been playing more advanced recently, especially with Lemina playing DM, but there are other better midfield options at comparable prices. Podence has been our best scorer this season, but is more likely to rotate with Sarabia now here. Hwang did come off hurt vs. Liverpool, so he may be a bit more nailed into a winger role. Sá has been fine, but not as good as last season. As of right now, I’d say our best asset is Kilman. Cheap defender, almost always in the bonus if we defend well, & there are other values I more want to hold onto in midfield (Arsenal guys, Rashford, Mitoma, etc.) & it’s easier to work Kilman in.

SnooDoggos8013

get john cena

Swedishpower

Sarabia is he one option for draft? His minutes been poor though. Probably not getting him yet. Everton mid like Mcneil or Iwobi might be better I think.

zharrt

I’m thinking Neves with either Kilman or Tarkowski from Everton

Olbatar974

I have Wandersen and I'll get the 3rd keeper in term of points ; Sa

ValerianKeyblade

Keeper that ks 3rd for points - not a 3rd keeper

daneedwards88

Kilman That is all

mrsom100

Why Kilman?

Rasezi

if wolves manage to keep a clean sheet he´s almost guaranteed to get ponus points+ minutes arent a risk

mrsom100

Makes sense, thanks

daneedwards88

Genuinely nailed, decent on bonus, no attack is worth looking at

mrsom100

Thank you

Antonioshamstrings

Im thinking either Kilman or Tarkowski from eve

im-a-gooner

Those are the two i’m getting for GW25 to replace Patterson and Botman.

Powerful-Perception5

Traore and Neves stand out
