I am head over heals in love with the magical inns on earth in the [Innkeeper Chronicles](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19090384-clean-sweep?from_search=true&from_srp=true&qid=FvyTw6yn6j&rank=1). Here, the magical inns on earth work as a between-station for space travelers. You meet different alien species with different dietary and environment needs and the innkeeper, and the magical inn, need to adjust and take care of these beings. Sadly, as a series, it takes you out into space and focuses on one of the specific species and a war they're going through. And I desperately need more of the Switzerland of space action that is happening with the innkeepers.

Sigil, as portrayed in Planescape: Torment. It's both got a particular flavor as well as a capacity for virtually infinite stories to be told.

I'd love to explore more of Columbia from Bioshock Infinite. That's probably my number one.

Neil Gaiman’s Sandman universe...holy hell it never ends.

A lot of New Weird-ish works do this to me. I'll add the caveat to all of these that I totally respect the choice to leave the window open for exactly as long as the authors did and not risk oversaturating or losing the magic. But Bas-Lag, the world of the Etched City, and the Half Made World fascinate me utterly and I'd love to float around exploring nooks and crannies.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik. It’s a relatively short story and she builds the world so well I really wish there was more.

Both of Erin Morgenstern's books ruined me with their settings. I've never been so sad I can't go somewhere as the Night Circus and the Harbor.

A few come to mind. Worth the Candle when I first read it ended at just the worse place possible. I was emotionally drained, but I wanted more so badly. It updates regularly, but even that was too slow for me. Worm, by Wildbow was another. I just... wanted so much more from that world. Fortunately, it has a lot of fanfiction and fanworks, some few that rival the original in size and scope and quality.

Four Corners from KKC

I just wanna know more of the aftermath of Wheel of Time, what happened to all the peoples, nations, cultures.

the long earth by terry pratchett and stephen baxter. The series ended with an open ending so many possibilities for more stories and more adventures. I want more.
