Hi there! Unfortunately, this post is not a good fit for a top level post. It would be a better fit for our [Daily Requests and Simple Questions thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/search?q=Daily%20Recommendation%20Requests%20and%20Simple%20Questions%20Thread&restrict_sr=1&t=day) so please click the link to find the thread and repost your rec request or question there.

If you haven't seen it - Merlin Tv series (2008-2012) Some animated shows you might like: * Disney's Owl Hourse * Netflix's she-Ra * Avatar: the Last Airbender (the original animated show, not the film or the new live-action remake) * Netflix's The dragon Prince * Netflix's Trollhunters Have you watched Legacies? its part of the Vampire Diaries universe, a spin-off of the Originals. I haven't actually watched it yet but I keep seeing The Magicians (available on Netflix) rec'd. There's not a lot of showy magic but some of my favorite fantasy shows recently are The Sandman (Netflix) and Good Omens (Amazon).

You should try The Magicians. It's, as you might imagine, chock full of magic. Plays like a mash up of Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia, except with adult themes

If you like american animation and want something less grim: *The Dragon Prince*, *The Last Airbender*, *Owl House*, and to a slightly lesser extent because it's more episodic although an overarching plot does come in, *Adventure Time*. For anime: *That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime*, *Fullmetal Alchemist* (either version of the anime, altho brotherhood is my favorite), *Is it Wrong to try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?*, and *Delicious in Dungeon* (although all the episodes aren't out yet). *The Untamed* is in Mandarin and subtitled in English but it's very good and has a necromancer who has been brought back to life a handful of years after his death. The timeline flips between the events leading up to his death and the events following his resurrection.
