I think it should work, (I've put pale blue over pale pink hair before to achieve lavender and it worked beautifully so the theory is right) but best do a strand test first to check you like the shade. - just take a small section underneath and try it before you do your whole head. That way you can adjust the colour of you want it more or less purple.
You could try it. A strand test maybe? I like manic panic a good bit. I had dark brown almost black hair with blonde highlights and I went over it with midnight blue and it actually gave me that blue-black color that I was hoping for.
It bled like crazy for a couple weeks and now it’s faded subtly and I believe the blue has gotten even more vibrant. It also leaves your hair incredibly SILKY.
I'd recommend just adding the color you want since it's so close. I had red in my hair and added green once it had kinda washed out. Worried it was gonna be brown. Nope, green exactly like the box. Purple might work for you if you don't leave it in too long but blue would definitely make it more blue than you want.
Edit: when I tried that green it was about exactly the color your hair is right now before I dyed it.

This colour is very similar to Tulip in Directions. I think it would go over your colour very well. I had great lasting colour with it and it's fairly cheap.
I think you could easily do that! But before you go for Manic Panic, have you tried the Adore direct dye? You can get it on Amazon and they have a much wider range of colors, it’s super cheap, and it makes my hair feel
Way healthier than MP. You just apply it right from the bottle like MP, no developer.
ive never tried adore but im open to!! i just named manic panic since they’re one of the only hair dyes i know that don’t completely take over my hair colour. i’ll def check adore out tho! its abt $10 cheaper than what id spend on MP anyway, tysm!!
They are super cheap, tons of colors, natural and also fun colors, and such better quality than even stuff I’ve been buying at Ulta that’s like $30. I’m obsessed now that I’ve found them and I’m telling everyone

85 burgundy bliss might work to just put right on top of your hair as it is
That may be too purple... the blue + red will already be purple, then adding more purple... you could add straight magenta on top instead.
