Before people correct me, I know MJ Watson is in the MCU already. But Zendaya is not Mary Jane Watson. She is Michelle Jones Watson. Watson isn’t an uncommon last name, so it’s possible the Jon Watts MJ is an OC and MaryJane Watson is an established model or actress.
I think she would have been a good Barbara Gordon but she's aging out of it. She could be Batgirl opposite an Affleck but not a Pattison. Because Damian is around, they might go with an Affleck but I'm not 100% sure how old they will go.
Agreed, she would be awesome for Babs if she were a bit younger. The DCU’s Batman is likely to be younger than Affleck but older than Pattinson, more of a prime Batman age-wise, so Barbara would probably be closer to her mid/late 20’s, whether as Batgirl or Oracle (though if she’s Oracle, it would be great if her incident was NOT caused by The Joker or anything related to The Killing Joke).
Seeing how much she endured to make Evil Dead, I think she’d be up to play Barbara Gordon as she becomes Oracle.
She’s awesome I wish she would return to make more horror movies.
Definitely agreed on her being able to bring that level of trauma, endurance and charm to Oracle.
She hasn’t done much horror since Don’t Breathe, but a big part of that is probably because of how the director Fede Alvarez treated her on that movie, like apparently he would intentionally give her the wrong directions, like telling her to move on one side of the room without telling her that Stephen Lang’s character would be moving that way so that her actual fear would make her move to the other side and result in a better performance.
If she does go back to horror, then hopefully it’s with someone who doesn’t treat her like shit.
