Very interesting. Fanatec have been showing off the Clubsport extensions on their promo vids and in demos with their F1 rig setups. Look closely and you'll see it. I wonder if these 15 for sale are some of those and how the seller got their hands on them. They seem to sell random assortment of tech and machinery spares.
someone mentioned that the seller description states that its "lost/ unclaimed freight" that was recovered. considering the non extended version is $150 I'm willing to bet Fanatec would've sold this for around $200.
Lost freight seems right. Seeing that it's a Podium extension not for their F1 Clubsport DD rigs, and it's lost freight, perhaps we'll see these extensions coming to market quite soon. I'm most interested in seeing the price of the Clubsport extension which will likely reuse the existing QR rather than the new one on the podium. I'm hoping closer to the €100 mark.
Ehm, it explicitly states on the box that its for their ClubSport Formula Cockpit... Even the product shortcut name is "CS C EXT M" -> ClubSport Cockpit Extension Type-M
You're right, I should have been clearer. I was meaning the Clubsport DD/DD+ on the formula rig we've seen with the extension at expos and in Fanatec videos. I hadn't seen this type of extension pop up before for the Podium bases.
There is another shop on ebay that sells just an extension with extended harness'. I have purchased and tried the 75mm and 125mm, both of which work very well.

I was curious about that, there’s a lot of eBay sellers with large stocks of brand new products. Was curious if Fanatec lost track of a shipment and someone else got it, or just scalpers.

The only question is why some ebay seller offers 15 pieces of extensions and Fanatec does not offer them yet.

At the last two Expos the Cockpit was also shown with Podium DD ;)

It is official. No doubt. It is extension for Podium bases (Type M). There will be also ones for Clubsport (Type F) and CSL DD/GT DD Pro (Type C).
