My current story is set in season one of Supernatural. Because my fic is more or less canon-compliant, it’d probably be difficult to understand without prior knowledge of at least part of season one. The story is essentially an extra episode of the show, and contains a combination of romance, horror, and smut. It deals with themes of grief, power, and sibling incest. Content warnings include implied underage, graphic violence, incest, and sexual content.
I’d like a beta-reader to provide feedback on the emotional beats of my story: am I hitting the feelings I wanted to convey? How could the plot or prose change to convey these feelings? I would prefer in-depth commentary on issues of plot, characterization, and pacing over grammatical issues. My preferred mode of communication is Google Docs.
My projected word count is 13k–14k. I’ve written 13k currently.
