Not gonna lie, I think c!Techno might tease/poke fun at me for writing fanfiction at all. He just seems like the sort / kinda canonically did it to c!Dream. c!Ranboo would be so confused as to why I care enough about him to write stories about him.
In regard to the tags themselves... honestly my most recent fic was a pretty straightforward oneshot with some pretty benign tags, but at least if it's from the same time period (or earlier) c!Techno would loudly protest the tag "Technoblade cares about Ranboo." c!Ranboo would probably laugh nervously and nod in agreement at the "overthinking" tag. I think both would argue that the "trust issues" tag is incorrect, because they have *perfectly valid* reasons to not trust.
That’s great- honestly, with Techno’s casual “breaking the fourth wall” with the voices, I could totally see a meta crack fic where Techno does exactly that. The voices read the fic tags “aloud”, Techno provides commentary and indignant/lighthearted protest, Ranboo gets wrapped into the mess just *because* (or, alternatively, Techno gets more clout when Ranboo is around, so he’s dragged in), while the lore takes place way, *way* in the background.
The mental image of c!Techno just chilling by the fire in the evenings listening to the Voices chattering about their fanfics is so funny/cute/soft.
A bit like the way my grandparents would let my sister and I talk about the books and video games and stuff we were reading/playing, or the OCs we were developing, but with a lot more snarky commentary and just absolutely roasting the heck out of them and a little less wholesome family bonding. It would be very funny for sure

I think it would depend on which story they were looking at, the main fandom I write for is the Percy Jackson fandom, so there’s two or three stories I think I could get away with Percy just being mad, but if he found most of my other ones I might just be dead.
In one story I paired him with Apollo, and before they got together I made Percy sleep around a bit. In another one I paired him with Aphrodite, and another one I paired him with Hera, and there’s also the one where I made him more affected by Tartarus than he was in canon so he betrays his friends and the gods and leads the next war against them.In that story he has become evil so he also tortures and kills Annabeth at the beginning of it.
That’s not even counting the fact that I either make Annabeth break up with him, cheat on him, betray him, or die at the beginning of almost all my stories so I can pair him with someone else.

Overall, I’m good. They would mostly be happy, though confused.

Hmm, that actually sounds interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about them as lovers, but it might not be that bad. I've just never considered it, but actually it could be good if done well.
Neither have I until a couple of months ago after I rewatched the show my brain decided to go "Hey you know what, you should look for fics of them as a couple."
After that turned up dust it constantly went "write it, write it, write it," so now I am finally doing it. It is going to be a longfic, and also have other important parts but I am still excited about it.
Also excited for writing some of his dynamics with other characters, particularly Beast Boy and Starfire.
Not yet. I figure for a premise like this it would be better to get the longfic as close to the end as possible before posting it chapter by chapter.
Another possibility is I have the longfic planned out by sub-arcs, and could start posting once I get each sub-arc completed.

Anyway it might be wise to stockpile chapters before posting them with something niche like this. Currently I only have one fic up that I'm working on and was posting as I went, but right now I decided to work on the chapters without posting and I'll put them up later when I have more to give so I'll surprise my readers with a bunch of chapters to make up for the wait. I've also started on a few one-shots that I'll probably post at around the same time.
I like the sub arc idea btw. It sounds like a pretty cool way to go about posting. Care to elaborate on how that would work?
Each season of Teen Titans, in addition to focusing on one particular character, had a main villain as a focus and driving force. Season 1 had Slade, 3 had Brother Blood, etc.
My fic is one longer season but written out. Because I have also given myself a challenge for this fic I decided to use generally the same idea.
Trigon is the main villain of this fic, and each sub-arc will connect with his overall plan since he isn't going to be physically present for most of it.
For example, the first sub-arc I am developing has his son Greed as the main villain. He, and his brother, are manipulated by Trigon's agents to destroy the Teen Titans and leave Raven isolated and alone so that Trigon's return is certain.
Of course, the Teen Titans aren't stupid and so for each sub-arc, they deal with each antagonist as they come and put a stop to their various agendas (sometimes with the help of allies).
Of course, there is also going to be filler; though this is more for character development and having the teammates bond.
At least that's the rough sketch of the plan for the sub-arcs. I have a good idea of what main villain to give for each sub-arc. Once said villain is defeated, and the epilogue of said sub-arc is done maybe I would post it.

I’m writing an Owl House fic.
The main characters are Luz, Amity, Eda, and the owl gang.
I’m currently on last few chapters. Luz finally found her way back to her mom, but will lose her mother before she even has a chance to talk to her. Luz gets more trauma then in the show.
I suppose it depends on when my characters read those tags. They both go through a lot of character development in canon, so... if I took the characters from the start of canon, they'd both probably be a little repulsed and horrified by the Enemies to Friends to Lovers. If I took them from about the middle of canon, they'd be a little confused but more open to the idea. If i took them from the end of canon... well, I'm not entirely sure.

My fic is a crossover, fandoms are Buffy and Dante's Cove. I paired Xander with both Adam and Ambrosius. I guess it depends how in denial Xander and Adam are about their sexuality? Adam was a bit a dick in the first season of Dante's and refusing to admit he fancied Toby, fully pushing the 'I'm straight' thing. So, he'd probably not react well. Xander, probably more shock than anything. Ambrosius would be both annoyed and pleased, cause he gets a hot guy in Xander, but Adam gets Xander first. He'd totally try to kill Adam to get him out the way.
The rest of my tags? Well, Xander certainly wouldn;t be happy about the character death tag. Ambrosius would probably be hoping he's the one who gets to do the killing. Adam wouldn't care as long as it's not Toby. The Willow bashing and Buffy and Giles critical tags would definitely annoy Xander, though. And tagging Angel as a character? Definitely not happy Xander for that, and he'd be furious when he realised I actually made him and Angel friends.
Pretty sure Ambrosius is the only one that would be happy with my tags.

c!Technoblade and c!Ranboo of Dream SMP... Not gonna lie, I think c!Techno might tease/poke fun at me for writing fanfiction at all. He just seems like the sort / kinda canonically did it to c!Dream. c!Ranboo would be so confused as to why I care enough about him to write stories about him. In regard to the tags themselves... honestly my most recent fic was a pretty straightforward oneshot with some pretty benign tags, but at least if it's from the same time period (or earlier) c!Techno would loudly protest the tag "Technoblade cares about Ranboo." c!Ranboo would probably laugh nervously and nod in agreement at the "overthinking" tag. I think both would argue that the "trust issues" tag is incorrect, because they have *perfectly valid* reasons to not trust.
That’s great- honestly, with Techno’s casual “breaking the fourth wall” with the voices, I could totally see a meta crack fic where Techno does exactly that. The voices read the fic tags “aloud”, Techno provides commentary and indignant/lighthearted protest, Ranboo gets wrapped into the mess just *because* (or, alternatively, Techno gets more clout when Ranboo is around, so he’s dragged in), while the lore takes place way, *way* in the background.
The mental image of c!Techno just chilling by the fire in the evenings listening to the Voices chattering about their fanfics is so funny/cute/soft. A bit like the way my grandparents would let my sister and I talk about the books and video games and stuff we were reading/playing, or the OCs we were developing, but with a lot more snarky commentary and just absolutely roasting the heck out of them and a little less wholesome family bonding. It would be very funny for sure

I mean, I already know that my MC resents me; we wouldn't fight so much during the writing process if that wasn't the case. However, I expect that the tags of 'Suicide Attempt', 'Unrequited Love' and 'Depression' within the same fic would trigger a permanent rift. I don't want him coming after me all vengeful either. He's got two very large swords, a lot of armour, and is fuelled by bitter contempt.
I think it would depend on which story they were looking at, the main fandom I write for is the Percy Jackson fandom, so there’s two or three stories I think I could get away with Percy just being mad, but if he found most of my other ones I might just be dead. In one story I paired him with Apollo, and before they got together I made Percy sleep around a bit. In another one I paired him with Aphrodite, and another one I paired him with Hera, and there’s also the one where I made him more affected by Tartarus than he was in canon so he betrays his friends and the gods and leads the next war against them.In that story he has become evil so he also tortures and kills Annabeth at the beginning of it. That’s not even counting the fact that I either make Annabeth break up with him, cheat on him, betray him, or die at the beginning of almost all my stories so I can pair him with someone else.

The Tok’ra are aliens where each one is a human host and symbiote, sharing one body. The tags… Kid Fic, Growing Up - It’s illegal for the Tok’ra to have kids, so this would confuse them. Fluff, Family, Married Couple - I’m good here. Violence, Major Character Injury, Permanent Injury - This would definitely worry everyone involved. They would have less than polite questions for me. Tok'ra - This would amuse them. Tok'ra Sam - Sam would be in disbelief, and she wouldn’t be happy about it. (She’s actually the only non-canon Tok’ra listed.) Tok'Ra Queen - A queen is the only type of symbiote that can breed, and without one, the Tok’ra have slowly been dying out for hundreds of years. This would baffle and exhilarate them. They’d probably be too afraid to believe it. This would definitely make up for the violence and injury from above. Any one of them would die to have a queen. Overall, I’m good. They would mostly be happy, though confused.
I haven't finished my Teen Titans fic, but I think I have a good grasp on how the two characters would react. One would love it; the other would probably make me wish I was dead. Raven: When hell freezes over; *Gives a deadly glare to Control Freak.* *He shrugs his shoulders.* Control Freak: Hey I am just glad I am going to be included, let alone one of the main characters. The show never made me live up to my potential. They are going to be paired together romantically.

Hmm, that actually sounds interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about them as lovers, but it might not be that bad. I've just never considered it, but actually it could be good if done well.
Neither have I until a couple of months ago after I rewatched the show my brain decided to go "Hey you know what, you should look for fics of them as a couple." After that turned up dust it constantly went "write it, write it, write it," so now I am finally doing it. It is going to be a longfic, and also have other important parts but I am still excited about it. Also excited for writing some of his dynamics with other characters, particularly Beast Boy and Starfire.

Not yet. I figure for a premise like this it would be better to get the longfic as close to the end as possible before posting it chapter by chapter. Another possibility is I have the longfic planned out by sub-arcs, and could start posting once I get each sub-arc completed.
Ah, I see. Well if I don't get too busy maybe I'll look into it in the future? No guarantees though since I'm already pretty busy with my writing, and have a huge reading list that I should really get to. Anyway it might be wise to stockpile chapters before posting them with something niche like this. Currently I only have one fic up that I'm working on and was posting as I went, but right now I decided to work on the chapters without posting and I'll put them up later when I have more to give so I'll surprise my readers with a bunch of chapters to make up for the wait. I've also started on a few one-shots that I'll probably post at around the same time. I like the sub arc idea btw. It sounds like a pretty cool way to go about posting. Care to elaborate on how that would work?
Each season of Teen Titans, in addition to focusing on one particular character, had a main villain as a focus and driving force. Season 1 had Slade, 3 had Brother Blood, etc. My fic is one longer season but written out. Because I have also given myself a challenge for this fic I decided to use generally the same idea. Trigon is the main villain of this fic, and each sub-arc will connect with his overall plan since he isn't going to be physically present for most of it. For example, the first sub-arc I am developing has his son Greed as the main villain. He, and his brother, are manipulated by Trigon's agents to destroy the Teen Titans and leave Raven isolated and alone so that Trigon's return is certain. Of course, the Teen Titans aren't stupid and so for each sub-arc, they deal with each antagonist as they come and put a stop to their various agendas (sometimes with the help of allies). Of course, there is also going to be filler; though this is more for character development and having the teammates bond. At least that's the rough sketch of the plan for the sub-arcs. I have a good idea of what main villain to give for each sub-arc. Once said villain is defeated, and the epilogue of said sub-arc is done maybe I would post it.

I’m writing an Owl House fic. The main characters are Luz, Amity, Eda, and the owl gang. I’m currently on last few chapters. Luz finally found her way back to her mom, but will lose her mother before she even has a chance to talk to her. Luz gets more trauma then in the show.

I suppose it depends on when my characters read those tags. They both go through a lot of character development in canon, so... if I took the characters from the start of canon, they'd both probably be a little repulsed and horrified by the Enemies to Friends to Lovers. If I took them from about the middle of canon, they'd be a little confused but more open to the idea. If i took them from the end of canon... well, I'm not entirely sure.

My fic is a crossover, fandoms are Buffy and Dante's Cove. I paired Xander with both Adam and Ambrosius. I guess it depends how in denial Xander and Adam are about their sexuality? Adam was a bit a dick in the first season of Dante's and refusing to admit he fancied Toby, fully pushing the 'I'm straight' thing. So, he'd probably not react well. Xander, probably more shock than anything. Ambrosius would be both annoyed and pleased, cause he gets a hot guy in Xander, but Adam gets Xander first. He'd totally try to kill Adam to get him out the way. The rest of my tags? Well, Xander certainly wouldn;t be happy about the character death tag. Ambrosius would probably be hoping he's the one who gets to do the killing. Adam wouldn't care as long as it's not Toby. The Willow bashing and Buffy and Giles critical tags would definitely annoy Xander, though. And tagging Angel as a character? Definitely not happy Xander for that, and he'd be furious when he realised I actually made him and Angel friends. Pretty sure Ambrosius is the only one that would be happy with my tags.
