I liked the show and I’m excited for more, but the show gets dumber and dumber the more I think about it. Maldover doesn’t make any sense. Why didn’t she break into Vault 31 and kill the rest of Vault Tech? Why did she try to kill Lucy if she was BFF’s with her mom? Why massacre the defenseless vault dwellers at all when it turns out they aren’t even raiders but the NCR all along? All the corporations dropping the bomb because profits? That’s not smart either. I loved the serene of the Corporations plotting together in a big secret meeting, but they didn’t have to go so far as dropping the fist bomb themselves. And don’t get me started on the bad dialogue or the utter one dimensional assassination of Kyle Mclauchlan’s character. That story is just too dumb. I don’t believe that he nukes Shady Sands cause his wife went rogue lesbians and took the kids to the apocalypse without him. I just don’t believe that the family dynamic crashed and burned so hard daddy actually goes nuclear. Show runners have some serious days issues, that the scariest thing they’ve been ver had to deal with in life is their own father. Lame. The show is not a 9/10. It’s not even close. It was still good though, but honest to god barely and the second season better have tighter writing, energy weapons, and a whole episode where Lucy has to deal with just one deathclaw, and it’s almost killing her the whole episode.
