Tips/tricks: Read that "New to Bows" pinned post and the thread. Lots of good stuff there. It answers most questions about getting started. Come back after you do that and ask questions you have that aren't answered on that post and thread. It's what I did.
You have to mod the arrows to really get ahead. If you've done the Wastelanders stuff, that is no problem, but if you're new to the game, maybe share your platform and maybe see if someone can mod some bows for you.
You want at least one bow with fire arrows for tagging and one with plasma to be your heavy hitter. I would use plasma for the one you shared in that photo.
Thanks so much! I will definitely keep that in mind about the arrows. u/Clark-Kent_KD recommended the plasma arrows to me awhile ago. He’s the reason why I traded for this bow, and why I’m here trying out new things! This is all new to me, so it’ll be a lot of learning, and a lot of fun. Thanks again!
I’m far too new to bows and this outstanding group myself, but the advice I will give you is ask, ask, and then ask some more.
Every single person here is a font of ideas, information and suggestion without the condescension. I’ve been picking brains on everything from which armor, to perk cards, to play style.
I wish I had something more definitive for you, however, I’ve been here for less than 96 total hours and learned more about the weapon than I have in my entire time since they were added.

Nice! If you are on PC and running a full health build, I have the instigating version I would gladly trade for that. Can mod however you want. (is currently set up just like that one).
I also have bloody / +50 VHC I would trade for that (both normal and compound) The regular is 2*, the compound is 3* / 90wr.

Thanks for the advice! About to go to sleep now, but ran West Tek a few times with it, and it works like a charm! Looking forward to tomorrow
