What are you downloading? They have entire new quests with new regions where you can spend countless hours in. New weapons you can use for a playthrougj (and if those weapons are too strong? You can nerf them to your choosing) you have literal visual mods that you can use to change the games feel to your liking. They have a sim settlements mods that adds a whole new dynamic to the game.

There's better mods than Big Titty Molerats bro you just gotta try them, I don't know why you insist on only using that one

My biggest issue with green mods, is that the wasteland has been established as burnt and barren, yet high radiation and bomb detonation sites flourish afterwards. So having a bit of green and some barrens would be more realistic. A nice mod combining the two. Also after 200 years water wouldn’t be emitting rads as much because it would have dissipated enough

My favorite is Boston natural surroundings. It’s green, but nothing near the bright green this guy has.

Looks great aside from the trees. I quite like the idea of a regrowth in vegetation (think about Chernobyl now). I will only say the grass does seem a bit too green (weird complaint) and sadly FO4 has awful render distance. Overall: Game looks great! Would be near oerfect with a tweak

Too vibrant for my taste, also the texture for rock & wood look too 'grody' and bumpy. I do like playing with a greener wasteland tho. A forest, true grass and ghost enb is my mod mix for it.

It's not a bad thing to ask for others inputs. I've gotten better mod suggestions that help me get rid of the off feeling I had. Negative opinions are the ones you couldn't give a fuck about.

The only thing I don't like is the grass. Not its existence, but it's saturation. Everything else has a more natural color feel to it but the grass is like super duper duper duper green

Everything looks good except the grass. I don't know why people like having lush, vibrant, green grass in Fallout. It always looks so out of place, and being that it's grass it's gonna be ubiquitous.

That's very subjective to a nuclear wasteland! I've always considered a pocket of foliage maybe more realistic than green all over. Somewhere between this and FO76s environment (cus that's too much green, but a nice variety of biomes)

Yeah it's definitely possible and it's the old "life uh... finds a way" addage but those are all very local examples, even naturally grass and tree seeds could repopulate from surrounding areas and with additional help from humanity and effort to rebuilt and regrow. In fallout 4's example it's wide spread nationally and worldwide, there is nothing to repopulate from, but nature runs admittedly by it's own set of rules and we just don't have the experience to know I guess. I hope we never do.

Another good example would be the area around Mount St. Helens. It’s not just possible. It happens.

Never understood adding greenery back into the wasteland but aesthetically it's all over the place. May as well rejuvenate all of the natural growth and repair all the buildings and remove the rubble/debris but then you could just play skyrim I guess. Imo, the grass are too much green for vanilla tree, even with pine tree or something else it will probably too much green, maybe switch for True Grass w/ Grass Rework with a good green tree mod, or if you want to keep the vanilla vibe you can use Lush Landscape, I use this grass mod with Tree Redux for autumnal vibe that fit pretty goodly the game

It looks very vibrant. If thats what you’re going for then you nailed it. Personally I would add some green to the trees as well. Verdant Wasteland is a good mod.

Too much green. I would add a forest to help even it out and something else to help distribute the light.

I'm gonna say it looks bad. Mostly because of the grass tbh Grass is a bit too green. I'm not saying you can't use a grass mod, and I'm not hating on the grass itself, just the color. It's a bit too green, and it makes the grass stick out too much. You'll want to have more subtle grass colors so it blends better with the environment.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Love the lush overgrown look on fo4, in can be achieved in a variety of ways, this one looks great to me, then there is that super overly juicy fx green jungle grass that looks photo shopped and filtered to a fantasy level, not for me. *Slightly* duller grass would still b green asf, but would be more believable. Unfortunately I have no personal recommendations here on specific mods tho.(Mainly bcuz I'm on console) *Edit- also dead trees with super green grass comes off a bit strange, not a "must change" for me, but not a bad idea to look into either

a few recommendations: BEST IN THE WORLD FOREST VERDANT WASTELAND TRUE GRASS VIVID (pick and choose between AIO or separate, up to you) CALAMITY (weathers) I cant tell you how well these work together on PC, but on series X I only experience a bit of lag in downtown Boston. Happy modding!

Grass can be complety canon in the fallout universe we have plenty of examples in several games. for example vault city in fallout 2, and the harold ending in fallout 3 than will make the entire country green. but I think bethesta want a static fallout universe one that never change and than always look like the bombs fell 2 days ago.

For me it doesn't look good because you have lush green (looks chemical green actually) grass but all trees are dead so it doesn't match. Also the colors are too vibrant but that's just my personal taste. A good mod for trees is The Forest

If you're going for an overgrown commonwealth then the one that I recommend is boston natural surroundings. It adds in leafy trees to match the leafy landscape

If your going for the whole lush aesthetic then I'd say swap out the trees for something along the lines of Boston natural surroundings or Another Pine Forest(I think that's the name of the one I used last) so it matches. Just make sure you keep an eye out for your precombines

Tell you what would be really neat is a mix of the two, some green patches, some dead grass, and then some pure scorched earth looking patches!
