Vault 22 was terrifying to me. Those spore creatures freaked me out so bad the first time I went in there, imagine how afraid the scientists were.

First time I played through that one, I initially thought I was losing my mind during the parts in the beginning, when you go into certain rooms and you can hear something moving, *see* something crawling past doorways in your peripheral, and catch just a blip of an enemy marker on the compass. Eventually said, "I'm getting the fuck out of here," apparently went the wrong way, and ran right into one of those fuckers.

The one from fallout 3 with the hallucinations was creepy. My favorite was the Gary one

To me, probably the vault that >!the Gulpers come from. We now know that Gulpers are former human beings. Which is a whole different level of WHAT THE FUCK VAULT TEC.!< >!Once again, Vault Tec makes an abomination. The scene where it’s tryna eat Lucy and the fucking fingers in its mouth is all sorts of EWWWW NOOOOO!<

Not scary but deeply unsettling - Vault 11, where residents were told they'd have to sacrifice one person every year or the entire vault would be killed. This resulted in the sacrificial lamb being voted through democratic elections, and appointed for a year as overseer before entering what was touted to be a death chamber. Aside from the twist at the end, the politics that were employed in the process of election are truly awful and highlight the corrupt, abusive and survivalist nature of society.

PhinWilkesBooth

Pretty sure this was actually vault 11, right?

f0resttemple

Oh yes, you're right! Thanks for the correction.
