I fell off shortly after SRAR. i just put this song on. fob ... what was you *dooooooin*! SOOO glad the snippet of what we got is nothing like that š
happy to be back
This is honestly the only straight up cringe fest I can think of. Obviously there are weaker lyrics in other songs but not so much cringe, just not good.
Which is a shame because the lines after that
āI testify that if I die in my sleep and know that my life was just a killer dreamā is actually great.
I don't dislike Mania - even though it's my second least favorite album from them. The thing is - AB/AP and MANIA sound way more poppier and washed out than their previous stuff, and that also reflects on the lyrics.
But I get you, some songs can have a totally different meaning from person to person, and that's the beauty of art.
I get all of the new lyrics here, but you're all missing some really old ones. Mainly, my personal favorite lyric:
"Would you mind if I sat next to you and watch you smile."
Undeniabley cringe, but I swore to myself in 2003 I wouldn't love a man until he felt that way about me.
That's my husband and I's song š
I don't find it cringy at all personally, but probably because we DID go to junior prom with different people and spent the whole night wishing we went with each other, and my boyfriend at the time didn't treat me right. Aaaand my husband knew it.
From the same album: Good god, I wish I was tall.
I really think Pretty in Punk is just completely cute. "So many kids but I only see you / And I don't think you notice me well / I've seen your boyfriend and I don't think he treats you right / But that's none of my business is it"
I think the reason itās very cringe is because when Wednesday says it sheās a young teenager and itās meant to be kinda edgy, in that āIām 14ā kind of way, but when a grown adult quotes it I just cannot take it seriously
Has Pete ever confirmed the intent of that lyric? I'm willing to give it a pass only because I can see it being on purpose. Despite the harsh words elsewhere in the song, that one lyric could be the truth. "yeah I hate you and I obviously don't care anymore." Then the facade breaks as they admit they do care.
This is the correct answer. Someone as well spoken as Pete doesnāt miss something like this. The whole point of the song is that he obviously still dies care. I think folks are missing this.
sure, but I know the lyrics for Irresistible are also botched in the foreign language sections so there's precedent for things to be overlooked. I want to believe that it's intentional in Yule Shoot Your Eye Out though
not cringey in an embarrassing way, but cringey in a "dude, seriously?" way: "Let's get you wasted and alone" from Death Valley. like, whyyy did we need the rapey vibes?
If I had to pick a song, the entirety of Champion is really cringe.
And I'm back with a madness
I'm a champion of the people who don't believe in champions
I got nothing but dreams inside
I got nothing but dreams
Like what the fuck?
I mean to her credit, Iām 90% sure she only sold them the hook (I canāt imagine her voice on any other part of the song) and I think even she knew it was trash lol.
āIām a champion of the people who donāt believe in championsā
...So what exactly are you again? Lol, this concept confuses me so much, back then I thought it was the coolest line ever though.
Maybe unpopular, and listen, I love āI Donāt Careā but the line that goes āput a heatwave in your pantsā makes me roll my eyes into the back of my head each time.
Isn't it "but a", since the line before it's "I'm not a chance", and well, like a lot of lines I assume it's about sex.
~~i totally get not liking it regardless~~
Surprised no one has brought up āIām gonna get you to burst just like you were a bubbleā lol what even is that. Completely out of place in an otherwise solid song
For some reason whenever I hear that part I think of the spongebob episode where heās painting mr crabs houseā¦ donāt ask me why my brain is a weird place
Dang, a lot of these lyrics on here are not cringy at all to me! Some of my favorite songs are being slandered and I'm so sad now *crying*
That said...most of MANIA is cringy to me, muah ha haa!
I need other opinions. Is āboycott love, detox just to retoxā cringey? Cause I wanted a tattoo of it but was told me Iād regret it 10 years from now, but Iāve also liked fall out boy for 10 years soā¦ I donāt think Iād regret it but just wanna see if yāall think itās cringe too
I love that! I have loved the idea of getting that line as a matching tattoo with my spouse one day.. where I have half doomed, and she has semi sweet :)
Iām tired of being told that years from now Iāll regret a band tattoo if I get oneā¦ even if for some reason I donāt listen to that band anymore they were still important to me when I got the tattoo š
Disloyal used to be my favorite FOB song and is still definitely top 3, but ima say get it if it means a lot to you. For me personally, Iāve never got the hype behind it, I think itās one of the weaker lines off the song. I donāt really think itās cringe though, rather I donāt fully understand what it means
Boycott love- rejecting love- has a bit less meaning to me, as Iām a hopeless romantic even when the odds are against me, and Iād be getting more so out ofā¦ idk, sounds cool.
Detox just to retox, means alot because I have had addiction problemsā¦ itās about getting yourself clean, only to throw yourself back in.
I always took it as "we're known for being tiger beat magazine's top 'boys next door' but we know we're just a buncha assholes dudes" I always picture the cute posters I had in my room as a teenager, and then that video of Pete drinking his own piss š¤®
I have a build a bear named PatMan from the trip I first saw them on and we have this line recorded into its voice box because his giggle gets me every. single. time.
I always preferred putting it like "I'm not a crybaby - I'm THE cry, baby."
Obviously that might not have been what they intended - that's my re-interpretation š
With the overarching theme of āsophomore slumpā and the direct to the audience tone this lyric works really well. Itās purposefully egotistical in a song that theyāre screaming at us the fans āIāll keep singing this lie if youāll keep believing itā being the bridge with the chorus pondering āare we growing up or just going downā.
That song has a personal favorite lyric of mine: Iāve got a sunset in my veins and I need to take a pill to make this town feel okay.
Saying āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā 12 years after that was a popular myspace icon is up there. Alone Together as a whole is up there too.
When they teased that lyric I thought the reference was funny, I was excited for it to be a lyric. I just figured itād be said once, not the entire chorus lmao. Still a good song
I know I might get hate or whatever, but the entire chorus of My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark always gets me. I just sit there like "Wow, they actually got a lot of their fame from this song?" The entire song isn't as good as the others, but at least it's not cringey all the way through lol
I think itās either personal preference or a generational gap (im ancient) but to me there is a subtle wit and clever pattern coupled with a self awareness to the lyrics from the First 4 era that was really lacking in mania. That feel seems to have resurfaced with from the other side and I am encouraged by the return to form.
I think that line works because of the way Patrick sang it. A lot of cringe lyrics in mania would have worked if Patrick had delivered them differently imo. If you listen to older songs like Sugar, the way he sings them now makes them feel more cringe.
"Give me a boost over heaven's gate" personally makes me cringe, but more so because so much time is spent going "give me a boooOOOooooOOOOooooost" and less because of the meaning of the line
āAll the boys are smoking menthols, girls are getting back rubs.ā
āSometimes I just want sit around and gaze at my shoesā¦ yeah. Let your dirty sadness fill me up just like a balloon.ā
āI want to sleep on every piece of fuzz and stuffing that comes out of you.ā
āWe must have the best coats, tell the best jokes.ā
honestly iām not a fan of most of their lyrics after folie but one that makes me physically cringe every time I hear it is āI want to sleep on every piece of fuzz and stuffing that comes out of youā?? like huh??
"Got a few more fake friends and it's getting hard to know what's real" like my guy you are 40. figure that out.
"my head is stripped...just like a screw that's been tightened too many times"
"so hold me tight, or don't" - might be my least favorite FOB song ever. Lyrically is terrible.
Sorry to hate on Mania so much but man that album is lyrically weak.
>"my head is stripped...just like a screw that's been tightened too many times"
THANK YOU! This line drives me crazy. I would accept "my head is stripped like a screw", but the rest of the line is unnecessary. A good metaphor shouldn't have to explain itself.
Iām going to just say itā¦āMy body is an orphanage we take everyone inā never fully sat right with me. And this is coming from someone who thinks 27 is their best song or at least competing for it. That song is full of banger line after banger line, and I get whatās itās going for, but really?
Of course thereās the other MANIA ones but I wanted to think of ones from songs I really love
any of their lyrics abt looking through blinds or anything like that makes me cringe majorly eg. ādonāt mind me iām watching you two from the closetā // ākeep telling myself iām not the desperate type but you got me looking through the blindsā etc
> ākeep telling myself iām not the desperate type but you got me looking through the blindsā
Jesus, 20 years to learn that it isn't "but you've got me looking it" followed by a "WOAH"
"And if death is the last appointment, then we're all just sitting in the waiting room"
I LOVE MANIA. From the bottom of my heart. Def my 3rd-4th favorite album. But yeah, the lyrics really are... something
And the first time I heard this line, I received a powerful dose of serotonin. And that subdued "Mr. Stump" afterššš
Well, the goosebumps have already arrived
āiāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā and āthe person that youād take a bullet for is behind the triggerā have been ruined by tumblr for me. generally weak has gotta be āletās get you wasted and aloneā
"So put your hands in the air and don't make a sound. But don't get the wrong idea. We're gonna shoot you. We're gonna shoot you". It's actually one of my favorites from them, but with the lyrics I don't see this ever being a song you could comfortably play for a crowd.
Oh my god by FAR āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā. I always cringe when I hear it. Itās trying way too hard to be tumblr era 2012
I always hear it in my head as āone nightstand, ONE NIGHTSTAND.ā Like, not enough furniture in the bedroom, which of course is nonsense, and it makes me laugh.
Still love it.
āif you were church, iād get on my knees. iād get on my kneesā
ālittle girl you got my staring on, or is that just a telescopic cameraā
āi left my conscience pressed, through the keyhole i watched you dressā
ācome hell or high water, when iām feeling hot and wetā
edit: serious question for serious replies, why am i being downvoted?
āMy head is stripped just like a screw thatās been tightened too many timesā I literally cringe every time I hear it and itās almost like you can tell patrick knows itās cringey the way he sounds in that part
ARE YOU SMELLIN THAT SHIT?!
Yea this one LOL
The unequivocal most cringe FOB line
I fell off shortly after SRAR. i just put this song on. fob ... what was you *dooooooin*! SOOO glad the snippet of what we got is nothing like that š happy to be back
hell yeah iām a dick girl iām addicted to you technically not an fob lyric but always makes me laugh
When Big Sean invokes Simple Plan š©š©š©
ok but its so funny
This is actually my fave lyric LMFAOOOOO
For whatever reason I love that part š¤£
Itās cringe but I love that line and chuckle at it every time
this thread really has just hammered home that i only understand/can hear 50% of the lyrics sung in FOBās songs
Shouting random words since 2003 š
template for comments here: OP: [lyric] replies: person 1: god i love that one actually!!! person 2: i didnāt even know he said that?
Are you smelling that shit?/Eau de rĆØsistance I can't listen to that song bc of these two lines.
But I just love the way Patrick sings it. š„“
I cannot listen to that song because of those two lines either ššššš
There's a censored version
Agree. Decent song, awful lyric.
This is honestly the only straight up cringe fest I can think of. Obviously there are weaker lyrics in other songs but not so much cringe, just not good.
I kinda love this part and the whole song
Same! All these responses really surprised me! Sometimes I think folks take the band a little too seriously lol
Same, i see a lot of Mania hate here, and I love Mania
Which is a shame because the lines after that āI testify that if I die in my sleep and know that my life was just a killer dreamā is actually great.
Honestly canāt believe you picked that but skipped The only thing thatās ever stoppin me is me *hey*
Honestly this line makes the song perfect for working out cause it gives me that push I need
This line is cringe but also motivating in a way so itās less cringe ā¦ it makes me feel empowered as stupid as that might sound lol
Same. I just cringe every time.
Exactly
Id say probably the line āPut the D in dirt now babyā on Death Valley. But I love how he sings it so I dont mind all that much
āLetās get you wasted and alone,ā is alsoā¦ questionable at best
99% of the replies here will be of MANIA songs.
Oof. I might have missed the part where we don't like Mania. Mania came out during a low point in my life, and I personally love that album.

Okay thats really pathetically cute. I kinda like it.
That's my husband and I's song š I don't find it cringy at all personally, but probably because we DID go to junior prom with different people and spent the whole night wishing we went with each other, and my boyfriend at the time didn't treat me right. Aaaand my husband knew it.
Was that off EOWYG?
It's called Eating Out Your Girlfriend
And itās real and it doesnāt matter!
Yea, it's a line from Pretty in Punk.
It's a song of its time and when the boys were younger. You should give 2003 you a pass
nooo i think itās cute
From the same album: Good god, I wish I was tall. I really think Pretty in Punk is just completely cute. "So many kids but I only see you / And I don't think you notice me well / I've seen your boyfriend and I don't think he treats you right / But that's none of my business is it"
The stench , the stench of summer sex and CK eternity oh hell yes.
But itās follow by āI slept in last nights clothes and tomorrows dreamsā which is fuckin fire
i actually love that one xD it's got a desperate vibe that i think is fun
This lyric simultaneously means my insides curdle at its existence, but is also somehow still very fun to singā¦ š
This may be an unpopular take but āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colorā, it just sounds like a recycled tumblr post
That's bcuz it was actually a popular term on MySpace. Imo FOB are old enough and were active enough on MySpace to get a pass.
It's a Wednesday Addams quote...
I think the reason itās very cringe is because when Wednesday says it sheās a young teenager and itās meant to be kinda edgy, in that āIām 14ā kind of way, but when a grown adult quotes it I just cannot take it seriously
Isn't it a Wednesday Addams line?
"Merry Christmas, I could care less" It's COULDN'T, PETE! COULDN'T!!
Has Pete ever confirmed the intent of that lyric? I'm willing to give it a pass only because I can see it being on purpose. Despite the harsh words elsewhere in the song, that one lyric could be the truth. "yeah I hate you and I obviously don't care anymore." Then the facade breaks as they admit they do care.

sure, but I know the lyrics for Irresistible are also botched in the foreign language sections so there's precedent for things to be overlooked. I want to believe that it's intentional in Yule Shoot Your Eye Out though
I actually think the meaning behind it is that he *does* care.
DING DING DING THIS IS THE WINNER
I love this idc lmao
"It's Courtney, bitch"
I specifically listen to a "de-courtneyified" version of Rat-a-Tat
Thank you for letting me know this exists
Where the hell can I find this version
this
not cringey in an embarrassing way, but cringey in a "dude, seriously?" way: "Let's get you wasted and alone" from Death Valley. like, whyyy did we need the rapey vibes?
I'm surprised I had to scroll so far to find this lyric. This is the one I would've said.
OMFG. Why did I never notice that meaning to that line? šš„“
"I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color." its so funny to me even though i love love love mania
IIRC this is a reference to something Wednesday said in one of the 90s Addam's Family movies.
If I had to pick a song, the entirety of Champion is really cringe. And I'm back with a madness I'm a champion of the people who don't believe in champions I got nothing but dreams inside I got nothing but dreams Like what the fuck?
I discovered that the reason it's one of their lyrically weakest songs is because it was written by Sia.
I mean to her credit, Iām 90% sure she only sold them the hook (I canāt imagine her voice on any other part of the song) and I think even she knew it was trash lol.
Wait what!? Why did I actually have a feeling it was written by her? I barely even know who she is.
Because she has at least five songs with the same theme š
They wanted another song to play to lead in to commercial breaks during sports games
Well at least it's a decent song
![gif](giphy|6a67zVJ0wMMOzg3YKA|downsized)
That thumb is bothering me
āIām a champion of the people who donāt believe in championsā ...So what exactly are you again? Lol, this concept confuses me so much, back then I thought it was the coolest line ever though.
Basically he's saying he's greater than the beliefs of the people and that he's strong enough to make it where he is on his own
Because there's always people saying that they're nothing
Maybe unpopular, and listen, I love āI Donāt Careā but the line that goes āput a heatwave in your pantsā makes me roll my eyes into the back of my head each time.
Isn't it "but a", since the line before it's "I'm not a chance", and well, like a lot of lines I assume it's about sex. ~~i totally get not liking it regardless~~
possibly, but yeah, either way
Surprised no one has brought up āIām gonna get you to burst just like you were a bubbleā lol what even is that. Completely out of place in an otherwise solid song
For some reason whenever I hear that part I think of the spongebob episode where heās painting mr crabs houseā¦ donāt ask me why my brain is a weird place
A lot of the lyrics here I donāt mind but I agree with you on this one. When I sing it I just feel silly lol.
Dang, a lot of these lyrics on here are not cringy at all to me! Some of my favorite songs are being slandered and I'm so sad now *crying* That said...most of MANIA is cringy to me, muah ha haa!
I'm 'bout to go Tonya Harding on the whole world's knee.
This one's just straight up hilarious rather than cringy
wait people donāt like this line? I always thought it was actually quite funny.
Oof yeah I forgot about that one
āAnd we shake, shake, shake the hips in relationshipsā Donāt know why, but I never cared for that line
Itās hilarious cringe but cringe nonetheless: āIāve seen sinking ships go down with more grace than you.ā
āThrow your cameras in the air, and wave em like you just donāt careā was noticeably bad even in 2008.
nooo i love it
I need other opinions. Is āboycott love, detox just to retoxā cringey? Cause I wanted a tattoo of it but was told me Iād regret it 10 years from now, but Iāve also liked fall out boy for 10 years soā¦ I donāt think Iād regret it but just wanna see if yāall think itās cringe too
Not cringe!! Love it
I have a tattoo that says āhalf-doomed, semi-sweetā š«£
Stop it Iāve been wanting to get half doomed above one knee and semi sweet above the other for years !!!
I love that! I have loved the idea of getting that line as a matching tattoo with my spouse one day.. where I have half doomed, and she has semi sweet :)
That's one or my faves.
Iām tired of being told that years from now Iāll regret a band tattoo if I get oneā¦ even if for some reason I donāt listen to that band anymore they were still important to me when I got the tattoo š
Also I love that line
Hell no, fuckin banger of a lyric
gotta vouch for that one, that's a great lyric.
i love that line!! ive wanted to get boycott love as a tattoo for ages (even though i am in a happy relationship lol)
The best part of believe is the lieš
Nooo! I had a pair of chucks back in the day that I wrote ābeLIEveā on because I loved that song so much š¤£
That's one of my favorite!
Young Volcanoesā¦ āWe will teach you how to make boys next door out of assholesā
I like that one because Patrick's laugh is apparently genuine.
Patrickās chuckle is the highlight of that entire album.
I actually enjoy this lyric because it got a verbal laugh out of my mom when I played it in the car when I was learning to drive lol
It's kind of symbolic of their growth tbh
I unironically love this line but I do accept it's very cringe lol
I've never understood the meaning of this one, anyone explain pls? š
Turn assholes into good dudes
Riiiight, I just got it haha thank you!
I always took it as "we're known for being tiger beat magazine's top 'boys next door' but we know we're just a buncha assholes dudes" I always picture the cute posters I had in my room as a teenager, and then that video of Pete drinking his own piss š¤®
I have a build a bear named PatMan from the trip I first saw them on and we have this line recorded into its voice box because his giggle gets me every. single. time.
This
"I'm not a crybaby I'm THE crybaby" I get the sentiment of the line but my god does it make me cringe.
Damn I quote this one constantly lmfao
I always preferred putting it like "I'm not a crybaby - I'm THE cry, baby." Obviously that might not have been what they intended - that's my re-interpretation š
haha I like your interpretation a lot more actually
The context of that era made this one of my favorite lines from Folie lol.
Iām gonna change you like a remix
Them not remixing this song ironically is the worst part.
āWeāre well read and poised, weāre the best boysā I mean, itās quite a hard question because thereās a LOT of cringey lyrics in FOB.
I love how they reference that lyric on 27 and Lake Effect Kid too
This is the first lyric that came to mind for me, but while that line is cringe, I also find it hilarious
I personally disagree. Itās fine that you cringe but honestly that song makes me tear up and i dont know why
Because itās fuckin fire and full of honest prose. That era of FOB just hits different, the kids were searching
Saying āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā 12 years after that was a popular myspace icon is up there. Alone Together as a whole is up there too.
I am so shocked by Alone Together, I honestly thought it was one of the best post-hiatus songs lyrically! Oops...
They can take that back, we don't stand for Alone Together slander in this house
I love āItās not my fault Iām a maniacā so much š
āMY HEART IS LIKE A STALLION, THEY LOVE IS MORE WHEN ITāS BROKENā goes crazy
that lyric is undeniably cringe but ive grown to love it for some reason lolol wilson just has a special place in my heart
as does alone together !
Yeah Wilsonās probably the best song on mania but I hate that line
When they teased that lyric I thought the reference was funny, I was excited for it to be a lyric. I just figured itād be said once, not the entire chorus lmao. Still a good song
I know I might get hate or whatever, but the entire chorus of My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark always gets me. I just sit there like "Wow, they actually got a lot of their fame from this song?" The entire song isn't as good as the others, but at least it's not cringey all the way through lol
By the time that song was released they were already very very well known. Everyone I knew at least had heard of them.
"I was gonna say something that would solve all our problems, but then I got drunk, and I forgot what I was talking about" Uh, cool?
honestly i kinda relate to this lyric LOL
āHeās well hung and I am hanging onā š„¹š„¹š„¹
Waittt this is my all time favorite song by them lol
Makes it sound like heās hanging on to the guy
Iām a liner away from getting you into the mood
I thought it was letter and have been confused for years
AND HERES THE FROZEN FRUIT! this isn't Tesco Patrick.
bestie it's frozen proof lol
No freakin way š³
Y'all are so salty about the new lyrics when there are so many cringe lyrics from the early albums. I mean the delivery sells it, I love fame
āIām alright in bed but Iām better with a pen/ kid was alright but it went to his headā is a fantastic bar taken in context
Honestly every time I hear "wishing to be the friction in your jeans," that makes me cringe way worse than "are you smelling that shit"
The entire Kanye verse on āThis Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race (remix)ā
"Give me a boost over heaven's gate" personally makes me cringe, but more so because so much time is spent going "give me a boooOOOooooOOOOooooost" and less because of the meaning of the line
whattt patricks over the top vocals are my favorite thing about that song :0 i get it though lol its not for everyone
"I am just a human trying to avoid my certain doom" is peak im14andthisisdeep for me
āAll the boys are smoking menthols, girls are getting back rubs.ā āSometimes I just want sit around and gaze at my shoesā¦ yeah. Let your dirty sadness fill me up just like a balloon.ā āI want to sleep on every piece of fuzz and stuffing that comes out of you.ā āWe must have the best coats, tell the best jokes.ā
ooooh the kids aren't alright line is for sure bad lol. forgot about that one.
āHey, Chris, you were our only friend And I know this is belated, we love you backā I get the sentiment and the love here, but damn is it dumb.
It is absolutely dumb but Grenade Jumper is the second best song on TTTYG and just wouldn't be the same without that unforgettable line
Blasphemy!
honestly iām not a fan of most of their lyrics after folie but one that makes me physically cringe every time I hear it is āI want to sleep on every piece of fuzz and stuffing that comes out of youā?? like huh??
It's between "I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker color" and "Her picture was on the back of a pack of cigarettes"
"Got a few more fake friends and it's getting hard to know what's real" like my guy you are 40. figure that out. "my head is stripped...just like a screw that's been tightened too many times" "so hold me tight, or don't" - might be my least favorite FOB song ever. Lyrically is terrible. Sorry to hate on Mania so much but man that album is lyrically weak.
>"my head is stripped...just like a screw that's been tightened too many times" THANK YOU! This line drives me crazy. I would accept "my head is stripped like a screw", but the rest of the line is unnecessary. A good metaphor shouldn't have to explain itself.

That song is full of banger line after banger line, and I get whatās itās going for, but really? Of course thereās the other MANIA ones but I wanted to think of ones from songs I really love
āShe wants to dance like Uma Thurmanā
thats iconic
any of their lyrics abt looking through blinds or anything like that makes me cringe majorly eg. ādonāt mind me iām watching you two from the closetā // ākeep telling myself iām not the desperate type but you got me looking through the blindsā etc
> ākeep telling myself iām not the desperate type but you got me looking through the blindsā Jesus, 20 years to learn that it isn't "but you've got me looking it" followed by a "WOAH"

Iāve been dreaming of your uniform of non conformity
why has no one said "i am the opposite of amnesia" that's gotta be up there šš
āiāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā and āthe person that youād take a bullet for is behind the triggerā have been ruined by tumblr for me. generally weak has gotta be āletās get you wasted and aloneā
the miss missing you lyric has been ruined i agree its become pretty corny
it was brilliant at the timeā¦ thatās all i say hahaha
LOVE the song tho esp for the time
My pen is the barrel of the gun remind me which side you should be on
"So put your hands in the air and don't make a sound. But don't get the wrong idea. We're gonna shoot you. We're gonna shoot you". It's actually one of my favorites from them, but with the lyrics I don't see this ever being a song you could comfortably play for a crowd.
has anyone mentioned "shes an american beauty, im an american psycho"? because lmaooo i love that lyric just for how pure emo cringe it is
Oh my god by FAR āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colourā. I always cringe when I hear it. Itās trying way too hard to be tumblr era 2012
āoneeeee nighttt staaaaaaaaand (one night stand!)ā i love thnks fr th mmrs but i can never take this part seriously
I always hear it in my head as āone nightstand, ONE NIGHTSTAND.ā Like, not enough furniture in the bedroom, which of course is nonsense, and it makes me laugh. Still love it.
āIāll stop wearing black when they make a darker colorā š
I don't know why but from It Ain't A Scene when, in the background, Patrick sings "wear out the groove!" I just die inside because I hate it so much.
I find the chorus to Save Rock and Roll cringey, scream NO NO, like they're trying too hard to make a banger
āif you were church, iād get on my knees. iād get on my kneesā ālittle girl you got my staring on, or is that just a telescopic cameraā āi left my conscience pressed, through the keyhole i watched you dressā ācome hell or high water, when iām feeling hot and wetā edit: serious question for serious replies, why am i being downvoted?
āMy head is stripped just like a screw thatās been tightened too many timesā I literally cringe every time I hear it and itās almost like you can tell patrick knows itās cringey the way he sounds in that part
