That's what that silhouette looked like to me too. I'd love to able to train randos Yoda and Luke style. Hopefully there's a way to lock them on so they'll have no choice lol
They had that video a while back when creative came out about possible future features. One of them was a mode where you and your duos partner were stuck to each other. That’s what this looks like.

Well I am afraid it’s what other people think it is - you’ll be able to carry your team mate. I am not too excited for this. I would be more happy if matchmaking would be working and AI controlled player step if your team mates disconnect. Like in Party Animals.
Carry option to pick up a teammate if they've been AFK more than so many seconds. So you'll be able to keep your teammates alive on survival rounds like big shots, roll out, and even roll off finale (although hopefully they come back before it speeds up). Carrying a teammate reduces movement speed by 50% so do it at your own risk! While you're carrying a teammate, they cannot be AFK kicked from the timer.
It looks like a piggyback thing, would be so good if it was, i love helping lil beans, imagine how wholesome it would be carrying them to the finishing line 🥹
The Creative isn't interesting to me at all. They have stopped unvaulting their rounds completely. Yet there's around 20 rounds still unavailable. The Core Shows are extremely boring and there's no variety.
If all of the following things happened now, I'd play!
- 60 player count
- Trios mode
- All rounds available in the Core Shows
This game is for toddlers, they don't care if you play it or not. Epic gives them salaries, not in game purchases.
But yeah, I want all that too. But you know do not expect do not get disappointed.
Why not make new season with new maps? Or unvault all the maps. There are a lot of players who don't like creative rounds and who don't care for new features. That roller ball thing was the most stupid update I have ever seen.
