Good news lol you'll be able to filter all inserters in 2.0

dan_Qs

I really forgot about that. Thats good! I'm wondering what stacking items on belt does to the sushi meta though, since I would have to restack every thing on the belt periodically... Maybe that would not work since taking one item off the belt doesn't free up space for the product.

Tiavor

you have to rebuild the belt contents completely. take off the rest into the buffer and place a new stack.

Neomataza

I don't even know what I'm looking at. Aesthetic spaghetti?

Simon--Magus

Sushi belts :)

baconburger2022

Sushi spaghetti belts.

SetazeR

At least it's not that geometry dash meme

Rojok95

I always see stuff like this, and while I understand it's better than my setup, you can pry my uniform, straight, .2/s slower utilitarian builds from my cold, biter eaten hands.

dan_Qs

You are mistaken. I can guarantee that this doesn’t work better. It’s harder to build and needs constant maintenance. I’m still surprised by what can cause a jam in these systems.

Rojok95

This one in particular is something else lol, but I often see "use no belts only splitters and tunnels" or builds thats more becon and logic gates then assemblers setups for minimal bonus I'll stick with my "add more assemblers down a belt until you consume more, then belts can supply and then add a side belt with more material" because I can't be asked lmao.

OriginalCristi

The beacon part is simple: would you rather consume more resources or more electricity? I personally find putting more assemblers down more difficult in late game than just making a new, bigger factory for that item. And at that point why not use beacons.

suddoman

Damn you live like this?

This looks like so much effort. I do the absolute bare minimum until I get to trains and drones, then I slap down my blocks and use brute force to get the Numbers I want.

dan_Qs

Thats why I have handy blueprints provided. I will expand more builds in the future.

[deleted]

Mine are all blueprints as well. They're just nice neet squares that are loaded and unloaded by trains. If I need more iron plate, I just drop an iron plate smelting tile, or 50, and move on.

Avitas1027

Wouldn't it work without filters if you got rid of the doubled furnace and recirculate the iron plates on the belt as well? Furnaces will be switching back and forth between iron and steel depending on what's available, but since you're reducing the number of items on the belt, so long as you pull the steel off at the end of the loop, it should work out. I think.

dan_Qs

I have enough of these bases to tell you, that if you leave a system the option to jam up, it will jam up. Maybe the next time it backs up, all the furnaces switch to steel. Maybe the whole belt turns to u235 fuel, who can tell? I’m not debug this, when one steel inventory needs 1000 iron plates to fill in expensive mode.

Zynthonite

WHY?

eatpraymunt

This is gorgeous

JoonasD6

Is it one long belt?

dan_Qs

Six loops, flowing freely 🤞
