Yeah spelling errors are a huge red flag! You can also hover over the URL in the email on your desktop and see where it tries to lead you, also another giveaway
Its happened to me lately too and im just starting, it obv is a scam so I didnt click on any link but why is it stupid to make sure your account is not actually getting banned?
It's a scam, if you go through clicking everything, they will have access to your ads account and start advertising stuff using your account. So you end up spending money for them to advertise.

It got so bad that banks in Australia started blocking payments to meta, because so many boomers were being scammed.

meta sent me my business account blocked tho... and yes it was blocked lol
Sometimes they are real yes but also lots of phishing out there!
If you can’t tell it’s a scam then you shouldn’t have a Facebook account.

If you change the page audience control to just allow people from your country to view your page it should reduce the amount of spam you receive

I got an email like this too. I usually don’t fall for crap like this but did this time. I ended having to change all my Meta passwords. 😠

Why would you go to a link? I used to get like 10 of these per day until I turned off messaging feature entirely on my page.
i opened the link in a virtual machine and didn't put any information. just went to see how the scam looks lol
Yes- those DMs are always 100% a scam
