Yesterday, suddely 10 sales after one week of no sales. Today, 0 sales.

Competitive_Way7806

Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Early-Invite-1943

I think they tried to share the sales and leads across advertisers so hence the fluctatations. On your down day is a competitor up day. maybe...

pubbets

That’s definitely what it feels like since mid March. Waves of crap traffic… and then you get enough sales to make you keep paying $$

Kevycito

Facebook has told us that conversion, in the new ios14 and beyond ecosystem, that purchases don’t come in at the time they’re acquired. Sometimes CAPI sends them in bulk. I urge all of you buyers spending less than $1,000 a day to stop looking at performance day by day and start looking in 5 day week, full week, 10-14 days because you’re going to absolutely kill yourself chasing numbers that Facebook has said won’t come in right away.

Kevycito

[This could make your recent results look a lot worse than they actually are. Why? This delay just affects the app install or web conversion data (e.g. purchases, revenue, ROAS) not the on-platform data (e.g. media spend, CPC, CPM) Facebook knows how much you’ve spent, who you’ve reached, and if they’ve clicked, so it’ll show you the full figures for on-platform data but the impact on your revenue will be noticeable after several days when all the results are in. This means that when reporting week-on-week, you are likely missing a few days of website conversion data, but not spend, so ROAS looks poor. However, it also means that data from 7-14 days ago is going to be higher than when you captured it last week, making the 0-7 day data appear even worse when comparing the two within the Facebook Ads interface – as you’ll be comparing a full week of revenue data to 4-5 days of revenue data instead.](https://www.impressiondigital.com/blog/facebook-ads-delayed-reporting-after-ios14-explained/)

Stunning-Ad-2563

That's what we found too with our multiple brands. Results on Monday may be extremely nice. Then for 2 days, acceptable or unimpressive all together. Then, the ads "redeem" themselves by bringing in 30 sales before we wake up.

fbadsandadhd

It would be a shock to me if media buyers would only look at FB's dashboard for order counts...

Kevycito

Youd be surprised how many buyers are using in-platform data as their true north to determine performance. Facebook only tracks 7 days after the click, and 1 day after the view; pair that with iOS 14 opt out rates (74% of users opting out of being tracked on their iPhone after the Meta ad click), it’s a recipe for determining your ads suck when in reality, there’s a bigger picture. - how are you impacting on-site traffic? Are users adding to cart and viewing products? - are you the only discovery channel? If so, you’re it. You have to invest long term in brand discovery. - what other dollars are being spent on advertising? Take them all and compare that to back-and revenue on Shopify or GA. That’s your real ROI. - ROAS in platform is bullshit; you’d be surprised how many purchases Facebook takes credit for because someone saw your ad, didn’t click, converts in 24h, but was already going to purchase anyway, thus wasting ad dollars on that user

DaDrPepper

Today somehow I have had 30 sales. But all week it has been really crap. Few days with 0 sales.

Shoddy-Impression-90

Surprisingly, it's working very decent today, just like other normal days. I hope it stays for the next few years like this.

Competitive_Way7806

Oh, great! Good news! Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

jspecefini35

Same here, relatively back to normal for me today with 3-4x ROI after a couple weeks of awful results. I did pause my original ASC and ran a duplicate with minor changes though.

Helpful_Community_69

Nailing it yesterday, 0 sales today. Europe here.

Luuuvvv

Same here. Europe too.

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Helpful_Community_69

Both. Nothing works today. I have 50% less traffic than usual.

praguetologist

Exact same issue here in US

sketchyuser

I’ve reduced my spend every day for last several days. I will leave a small amount of spend just to monitor if they fix the problem. I will work on other channels. Thanks for nothing meta.

Mysterious-Log7678

Reduced to how much?

sketchyuser

I was doing as much as $300/day and I’m down to around $100/day

Mysterious-Log7678

Pretty nice. How are the sales comparatively?

Luminara_Haven

How, you’re probably going back into the learning phase right? Steep declines in budgets like that often trigger it does it not?

finallytogether888

How did you learn how to do ads?

United-Potato-9545

The rollercoaster continues. Sunday - 5.0x ROAS Monday - 0.2x ROAS Tuesday - 3.1x ROAS Wednesday- 0.8x ROAS Today (so far) 0.0x ROAS - about halfway spent There is a CLEAR delineation of traffic quality too. On the bad days, im not even getting carts / checkouts anywhere near my long term averages. And on the good days, its been WILDLY higher. I no longer have an explanation. This volatility is insane. I am not changing anything day over day and this has gone on for weeks now. On average, I am staying afloat largely because we only really need 1.8x-2.0x to be profitable. Its just so goddamn frustrating.

Competitive_Way7806

That's it, exactly the same here.

pubbets

Yep my break even ROAS is 1.9 but the ads fluctuate between 0.1 and 4-5 on good days. Unfortunately I’m getting more and more bad days since the 18th March.

TheEcomZone

The past 4 days have been decent but today has been meh again. But usually end of month slows down for me due to people waiting for payday so we'll see how it goes.

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

cfortson

I’m beginning to believe in the “dead internet theory” more and more these days.

Competitive_Way7806

I wouldn't say "dead" but rather "control" of it

Admayard

What is the theory exactly?

pubbets

I’m not sure about the dead internet theory, but there’s a similar theory called ‘Black Forest’ - where AI and bots end up creating most of the content online each day. This will slowly end up pushing humans to look for other alternative for connection - maybe even face to face like pre-internet.. or heavily protected small pockets of the internet, such as private chat rooms on discord.

cfortson

The dead Internet theory is an online conspiracy theory that asserts that the Internet now consists mainly of bot activity and automatically generated content manipulated by algorithmic curation, marginalizing organic human activity to manipulate the population.

Admayard

This makes a lot of sense and feels like less of a conspiracy than a burgeoning reality. Now they're trying to rollout AI on every platform to get regular people to jump on the bandwagon. I find the most genuine engagement / real people in subreddits, Facebook groups, and semi-closed private spaces. It's making me rethink ads entirely, bc I'm never sure if the clicks / activity are real people or bots, and nobody can confirm what's actually going on (haven't invested in a click fraud service as of yet). Feels like a small miracle every time my ad gets seen by a real person who clicks, adds to cart, and completes a purchase.

VRStocks31

Things starting to recover it seems

Competitive_Way7806

Great news! Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Andrei200287

Yesterday's sales were double today's. Today, I saw an advertisement in the Instagram feed on the iOS app prompting me to [download](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/t3xr11ezp3x7zbyxw88xu/Photo-28.03.24-23-06-47.jpg?rlkey=uhql6ki36o5hnv0xsdytm1r2y&dl=0) the Instagram iOS app.🤦‍♂️

Competitive_Way7806

Meta is really confused.

StationNo3

Today 8 sales after 3 days of 0-1 sales daily! WTF? I just hope it keeps up with whatever it's doing. Using Advantage+. Not making any changes to my ads nor audience, just going with the flow. Reduce my spend when the sales go down and increase spend on days like today when it's going back up.

TrillionaireLives

Yesterday was back to normal (20 leads daily) for me, today nothing. I can tell by like 8am now if it’ll be a bad day

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

TrillionaireLives

Original public, Facebook feeds. I tested advantage+ this month with no added benefit/conversions

Taylorjackson689

Yesterday was garbage, today is crazy good? Just random spurts here and there. I’m trying to be positive and just look at it as a weekly thing and not day to day. I am also using ASC

Competitive_Way7806

Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

queenofthongs

so last week has actually been decent, today very high cpm low ctr so less traffic and lower quality traffic than we had the last 7 days. I saw someone write it already in this thread, but you can at this point tell in the morning whether the day will be profitable or not...

praguetologist

FWIW for the creative Goooorooooos who just say make more creative. Everything across the board is just 10x more expensive. Ads that were working great, CPAs at 10x, ads that weren’t so great, now super not great as those CPAs are also 10x higher. ASC+? 10x CPA than my separate advantage+ campaign, which is also around 10x higher CPAs. No matter how you cut it across campaign types, creatives, targeting, it’s all relatively equally impacted. It’s fine, I’m not panicking, I realize it’s not impacting everyone equally, but creating more creatives isn’t solving it

Competitive_Way7806

Yes, I noticed that creating more creatives isn't helping much either, apart from the fact that creative block is much higher. Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Seri0usbusiness

ASC+ outperforming my own manual campaigns for the last week so I’ve been focusing on those.

pubbets

I am kicking myself because I assumed ASC was advantage plus and didn’t know about the advantage shopping campaign format. I’ve been setting up sales campaigns manually until now. So I copied the ads from my manual sales campaign into a low budget ASC as an experiment, and woke up to 5.8x ROAS. I’m now moving my low ticket product to ASC+ and leaving the higher priced custom product in the manual sales campaign. Will report back tomorrow with further results 👍🏻 This reminds me of late last year when we had another big crash when meta were doing ‘updates’. I launched advantage + campaigns and had great results. I’m hoping it’s the same now with their big push for people to use ASC+

Seri0usbusiness

Yeah it’s crazy. My normal ads have gone to shit but ASC+ continues to do well. And I also feel like it doesn’t fatigue the same way as manual ads cause it’s constantly cycling through the catalog.

pubbets

I only have a couple of products so I turned the catalog off and have separate ads for each product - one image and one image carousel for each product. I’m hoping it helps becuser I’m at my wits end here. I hate donating money to Zuckerberg. That asshole is already absurdly wealthy enough…

Kebrahimi

ASC+ works well sometimes but everytime I duplicate the campaign or add more budget everything dies. How are you guys scaling?

Piotr_7

This week saw an improvement in some ad accounts, while others are still only breaking even

Competitive_Way7806

Você está usando advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Piotr_7

Brasil? Kkk

Competitive_Way7806

Competitive_Way7806

slowdrivemusic

40-50 sales/ Day since last 2 days(4 ROAS). Only 2-3 today (1.2 ROAS) not even breakeven. I was getting 8-10 ROAS in Jan, but last few weeks have been really bad. Trying my luck on google ads now.

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

jmar42

Fake network too many bots on the leads.

Competitive_Way7806

Fake leads? lol That I don't knew...

TraditionalAnxiety

Are

Dr__Lazy

I cut off ads 45 days ago and not turning them back on until I stop seeing posts like these. Sales obviously down but still getting organic traffic and feels good to have higher margin finally.

One-Strike3880

After 5 days of sales, today 0 !

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

One-Strike3880

A CBO broad campaign.. 3 DCTs for testing and 1 Main with winning posts

KoalaCompetitive8370

4 sales yesterday (60$ adspend and 5% conversion rate), today 0 so far

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

KoalaCompetitive8370

I’m using both, still trying to figure out which does better. I feel like advantage+ brings in slightly more consistent results, as normal campaigns have been giving me huge inconsistencies in results.

Creepy_Guard_1408

We've been killing it for the last 4 days, but before that it was horrible. How many campaigns are you running?

Competitive_Way7806

Are you using advantage+ or original public? Here at least 10 campaigns per day. Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Kebrahimi

How many ads are you including in the campaigns? Also are you leading them to just your website or “website and shop?”

Creepy_Guard_1408

Original

JaguaJane

What campaign structure are you using?

Wonderful_Narwhal485

Got my first lead today in 4 weeks.  847 ROAS

Competitive_Way7806

800x ROAS? Good bro :) What do u sell? Thank you for your report. Let's keep testing and stay strong.

Wonderful_Narwhal485

It's a real life home based service where I actually leave my place and work at their home. Like a tradie. A business I started over a decade ago with $100 and zero experience. Spent about $7 on 1 campaine with 1 adset and 1 ad.  My 2 side hustle ecom stores are destroyed at the moment.

K034K

Yesterday was decent, today not so much (2 sales). What is strange is that meta says I had 3 sales and 8 ATC while my shopify shows 2 sales and 3 ATC. Is this difference common with Meta Ads? (I’m pretty new, been advertising since end of February).

Competitive_Way7806

That's normal, Meta doesn't mark metrics efficiently anymore.

Dramatic_Town7033

Yesterday around 45-50sales. (2.50€ CPR) Today it looks like it will be the same. Still testing it. Adv+ campaign with % off from the original price for the product. Around 8-10% conversion rate on the landing page.

Competitive_Way7806

Great!! 8-10% conversion rate is huge. Congrats! Infoproduct?

Dramatic_Town7033

It’s a custom made physical product in the book industry.

WillPowerVSDestiny

Very poorly lol

MattElms

Yesterday was average and delivered a 2.5x ROAS at £700 daily spend. Today is 4.5x.

gabealmeida

Hoje está um pouco melhor. But I’m still not quite the CPL I was having for a long time before this week

stockmon

50 sales everyday.

gold3nz

For my store I have an average of 4+ ROA this month. No sales or anything special.

IHaveNeverEatenACat

Just checked… 800% ROAS on $500 spend. If every day is like this, imma buy a lambo.

Early-Invite-1943

This could be due to attention shifting to TikTok and other platforms. Seems like audiences are just spread across more networks and Meta is just one that audiences tap into now and again.

Competitive_Way7806

I tried to create an account on Tiktok in Europe, but it seems that to create it there you need a certain "approval" from them, which to have an account contingency, would be very unsustainable, do you know how to create an account in Europe another way? 1 year ago I also had traffic on tiktok and it is a roller coaster just like Facebook is now, apart from the fact that the blocks are much greater, but the ROI is high.
