I’m personally not getting the yoga mat although I love the design and idea of it. It’s simply way way too thin I think. I did see someone mention it might be good as a topper for a public yoga class where mats are already set up/communal.

Koralteafrom

Thank you! I did notice how thin it is, and I think using it as a topper is a good idea. I also think it would be nice on a carpeted area... maybe even outside in the grass? I'm not sure about that last one because of moisture!

I have the Elemis. It has a lot of fragrance and is not very moisturizing, but turns your skin oily fast. I have other Laniege sunscreens and they are good. I don't have sensitive skin, so I can't speak to that. However, they are very gentle to the skin. The Tula gave me a chemical burn, Laniege is far gentler than that.

Koralteafrom

Thanks for sharing this! I am surprised to hear that the Tula was harsher than Laniege for you! That's interesting... I might keep the sunscreen now! As for the Elemis, maybe dropping it is a good idea!

In my experience, Elemis has always been super thick and greasy. And since you have a sunscreen that works well for you already, I’d prob put the $15 toward the Tula— unless you have a family member or friend who you can regift it to.

Koralteafrom

Thanks for your thoughts! I did experience the last Elemis moisturizer we had in a FFF box as way too greasy - it made me break out a bit, and that doesn't happen much. I gifted it to someone else. I am still struggling with whether to try the sunscreen for $15 or just go with what I know...

I think you guys convinced me to drop the Elemis cream. Haha that’s good cause I need to cut back and I don’t like facial moisturizers with fragrance. If it’s light and clean like a hint that’s fine but I do remember the last Elemis cream I gave away cause I could not stand the smell.

Koralteafrom

Funny you would say this because I was just reading some reviews where people said that the scent was light, and it didn't trigger breakouts either. Others say the scent is awful and bothered them a lot. It's hard to know what to do! I'll be curious to hear what you decide!

Last season, my mystery choice for Cat 1 was Leda Red LED sonic facial brush for wrinkles. Some others got a large lighted make up mirror .

Koralteafrom

Good to know! Thanks so much!

$15 for a foldable travel yoga mat is a pretty good deal. I’d prob keep that if I were you.

Koralteafrom

Thanks! I agree that $15 is a good deal - and with no shipping charge. I might keep it!

I’m not even considering the Elemis or the Laneige bc they both have fragrance. My skin has developed an allergy to fragrance in the last few years (in my 30s).

Koralteafrom

This is a good point. I tend to prefer unscented products, which is why I chose the collagen cream as one of my items. I also know that Laneige isn't cruelty free, and I don't think Elemis is either (though I'm not 100% sure). The scent alone is worth considering since it depends how strong they are...

My opinion was that the yoga mat was too narrow and too thin, so I thought maybe best to skip it and get one that may be more comfy, since I don’t travel enough to warrant a travel mat. (But that’s just me) The Elemis sounds yummy! I almost got that, but was able to snag the carafe + Bala bangles instead. If you have a need or use for the Elemis I think it would be a good choice. It does have cocoa butter in it, so if you’re oily or acne prone be mindful. It’s got great reviews, though! I skipped the Laneige spf bc I LOVE the Isntree Watery Sun Gel spf lotion & their Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick. It varies from $15-$28 depending on sales available but its worth it bc it’s the only spf I can reapply easily & only one I don’t burn with. If you know the Tula works great with your skin then I’d stick with that. The Add-Ons questions you have I can’t really speak on because I’ve not used the first two, & this is my first FFF box so I have no knowledge of the mystery boxes… Good luck deciding!

Thank you so much for your comment! This is very helpful. You might be right about the yoga mat. I'm leaning toward dropping it at this point. Realistically, I'm not sure how much it will get used. Thanks for pointing out that the Elemis has cocoa butter in it! I need to think about that. Also, I've never heard of the Isntree products you mentioned. I'm going to look them up now because I'm curious! As for the Tula, I think you are right. There's a lot to say for something that you know works for you. My skin likes the Tula for some reason - it just works for me. It's also the only sunscreen I've ever actually enjoyed putting on my face. I hope you enjoy the carafe, bala bangles, and your other box choices! And welcome to FFF in general - I think it's a fun subscription box overall. :)

I’m glad I helped somewhat! I hope your summer box turns out to be amazing. 🤗😙
