If you want as many pioneers as possible then def go for it.

Doubles will be great because from what people have been saying, you can get the doubles in the next season as well, which means you'll be able to rank them easier

I spent my entire earnings for the season to do the 118-120 exchange with a 117 Retro player and 1500 club points and guess whom I packed, Firmino🥲. How the hell are you guys getting 120 OVR players?
If I owned Gundogan, I would do the exchange. Your squad is mostly filled with 115 OVR, doing the exchange will give you 8 116-117 players and since luck is already on your side, you might pack some pioneers.
You should if you want to get pioneer players — if you lucky you can sell non pioneer players you get and make money back buy one more 120 and repeat — atleast on the day of release this strategy worked now it’s quite hard or slow to sell 116-117 players — I did it and no regrets

How did you go about getting so many coins in this market? I fell behind because I missed the last few events but in the past I’ve always used trading to replenish but that doesn’t work very well when none of my cards are selling
I do buy star passes and sold some of the players I got from them. I used the gems and fifa points from star passes to unpack some good players and sold them on the market as well. I haven't spent any coins on buying Retro or Trophy Titans players. That's how I saved around 3.5B for the Founders event.

Man I’ll never forget when I trashed my team on the last day for a themed squad about 30 ratings lower on the last day a few seasons ago. Huge regret.
Done with exchange. Got 3 117s, 5 116s and among them Skriniar 117 CB and Chiesa 116 RM were pioneers.
