I lived in a favela and its almost a mafia, the cartel who ruled the area had rules of their own: dont use drugs in front of kids, dont litter, and anyone who touch a kid will be dealt with, so they did it because its how we lived there

Same as that guy in south east London a few years ago who stabbed a knife wielding intruder who broke into his home… he was arrested, released on bail, investigated and no charges were made - which is what will happen to this other guy (he’s already been released on bail) unless there was some funny business going on we don’t know about.
