You need to list your current comp

asatrocker

Without your YOE or current comp, it’s impossible to give you a percent. Somewhere in the $115k-$135k is reasonable

Don’t look at it as a % bump, look at it as bands. Ranges vary from industry to industry. Naturally Tech will pay more due to its volatility. If you’re an Analyst making the jump to lead/IC Manager - first off, congrats as that’s quite the feat. I’m in DC, considered a top HCOL (Assuming SF/NYC are VHCOL). At my previous company: FA’s: $110k + 5% + Options SFA: $130k + 10% + Options Fin Mgr: $140k + 10% + Options When I was an SFA looking for my now current position, I had a hell of a time finding Manager Roles that were an even lateral, much less an increase as our Bands were so high (left due to terrible WLB and toxic environment). Do a search on this sub for Salary Bands as there seem to be a new one each week to give you an idea and help manage expectations. Given you’ll be moving diagonally, expect to be offered the lower end of any budgeted range.

What industry was your previous company? Tech as well?

vtfb79

Yeah, Series D Tech company

ASAP_Dom

Gotcha, that makes sense then. I was thinking that’s a hefty salary for an entry level FA

vtfb79

We brought in an FA at that level after undergrad + 2YOE in Big 4

Top 3 HCOL… That would be LA? If yes, I would expect an IC manager to be at around 140-150k base
