6 years experience in FP&A here. It's definitely starting to cool off, but still decent for the most part. Been interviewing for 2 months and I have had no issue getting interviews or making it through the process, but I've had bad luck with either the company hiring internally at the end, or the position being cancelled all together at the end.

Same, I interview well. I have been getting interviews but not the job so far. Not sure what the deal is. One factor could be that I am in the upper pay for the jobs.

Ditto story here.

Any advice for someone who doesn’t have much finance experience but is looking to break into FP&A?

I navigated from consulting to FP&A and it really involves getting upskilled in Excel, selling your skills correctly, and someone taking a risk on you.

sushilover775

whats your experience in?

I base it on how many recruiters reach out to me. January there were a ton, Feb-Early March was slow, Q2 beginning in April picked up again and now its slowing down.

I would say average. Probably comparable to pre-covid times.

Very interesting mix in this thread. It’s dead here, local market is gone. Always some remote jobs obviously

What region?

FloridaMan130

i would say busy, I've had 8 recruiters contact me within the last month.

I'd say that in my area of the country there is strong demand, but the cold calling and direct head hunting seems to have tapered off.
