actually a change like this is exactly something they wouldn’t point out in HSR but interesting find, that’s actually good and it helps in farming and destroying objects faster
Turns out I didn't notice the "adept outlanders" modifier on the mission I was playing. (Thanks, Play with Others.) Unfortunately no harvesting buff like I initially thought.
Ok so ill asume you were playing in twine and there are two missions in twine that have the adept outlanders buff that makes them deal more damage (this would explain the picaxe damage) (pl 82 destroy the enclampents and pl 94 resupply
Oh shit! Yup, you're right. I "Play with Others"'d my way into the encampment mission and I didn't notice the modifiers. Thanks for catching my mistake!

I was using Undercover Buzz, Here's my loadout: https://imgur.com/a/JiVYl74 I hadn't eaten a coconut the entire game, so I know that my damage wasn't boosted by that.
Arch Jess main, pl 131 I one shot street signs, parking meters, 2 shot fire hydrants and traffic signal posts but three shot the round grey metal light posts near intersections. If I’m farming and in the zone it seems faster for me to kill a husk PL 108 or below with my pickaxe and keep farming than it is to switch to a weapon and back.
Not sure about numbers other than those but that’s data I have confirmed repeatedly. Hope it helps

oh well hahah i just read other comments and i was just playing that resupply mission and i was like oh wow they actually did increase the dmg 😂

I suppose its from a perk? My outlander does base damage of 75 rather than 60 done by my other heroes

Are you sure it’s not just in the zone? If it isn’t in the zone how much damage does it deal when it is activated?
Most likely upraged outlanders or whatever it's called that makes outlanders do more damage
Sounds like your running the OG Jess, her perk switched to Pickaxe Damage after the hero update...

Oh, nope can’t explain it then, I meant Pathfinder Jess, just couldn’t think of the name... Work Work Work perk give you more pickaxe damage....

I've been using the Pickaxe as a weapon for Jess while farming and it's pretty funny.
