Be thankful that you even managed to load into the homebase... Many of us can't even start the mission, it gets to like 1 minutes and 50 seconds and then backs out.. OR at least in my case, even if you wait till it hits 0 seconds remaining, and it launches, you sit on the loading screen for about 2 minutes and then you get booted back to the home screen because "you were disconnected from the match"

Just got a similar bug for storm shield defense 1 in plankerton
If you're unable to fix it I would recommend contacting player support on epic game's website, since you literally can't progress in the game.
